A Cloud-based Infusion Injector using Piezoelectric Micropump (피에조마이크로펌프를 이용한 클라우드기반 수액주입기)

  • We will provides a micro-pump infusion injector with the cloud networking for remote control. The existing infusion injector with controlled manually have an uncomfortable to use it inconveniently. The proposed remote control infusion, infusion system enables the identification and control of injected amount through the IOT function on th WEB. The micro-pump used is a piezo electric pump manufactured by using MEMS technology, and the amount of charge is varied depending on the frequency magnitude through the micro-controller. The micro-pump can adjust the speed of the fluid depending on the frequency and can be from 0.1ml / min to 7ml / min when the frequency is from 3 to 110Hz.

  • This paper presents the data parallel processing method between a PC and a micro-controller. To implement the method a dual port RAM for a real time data processing is used. In general an A/D & D/AC card is used to send or receive the data into or from the external plant and the PC does only the computation of the A/D and the D/A data because the A/D & D/AC card does not have the ability of computation. In this study, a data parallel processing method in which the PC and micro-controller own a common dual port RAM, is introduced, so that the PC can compute the A/D and D/A data and control the plant simultaneously. The PC system with a micro-controller and the common dual port RAM is designed and its effectiveness is investigated experimentally considering the performance of both the computation of data and the controlling and monitoring the external plant.

Development of a Prototype of Guidance System for Rice-transplanter

  • Purpose: It is not easy to drive a rice-transplanter avoiding underlapped or overlapped transplanting in paddy fields. An automated guidance system for the riding-type rice-transplanter would be necessary to operate the rice-transplanter autonomously or to assist the beginning drivers as a driving aid. Methods: A prototype of guidance system was composed of embedded computers, RTK-GPS, and a power-steering mechanism. Two Kalman filters were adopted to overcome sparse positioning data (1 Hz) from the RTK-GPS. A global Kalman filter estimated the posture of rice-transplanter every one second, and a local Kalman filter calculated the posture from every new estimation of the global Kalman filter with an interval of 200 ms. A PID controller was applied to the row-following mode control. A control method of U-turning mode was developed as well. A stepping motor with a reduction gear set was used to rotate the shaft of steering wheel. Results: Test trials for U-turning and row-following modes were done in a paddy field after some parameters have been tuned at the ground speed range of 0.3 ~ 1.2 m/s. The minimum RMS error of offset was 3.13 cm at the ground speed of 0.3 m/s while the maximum RMS error was 13.01 cm at 1.2 m/s. The offset RMS error tended to increase as the ground speed increased. The target point distance, LT also affected the system performance and PID controller parameters should be adjusted on different ground speeds. Conclusions: A target angle-based PID controller plus stationary steering angle controller made it possible for the rice-transplanter to steer autonomously by following a reference line accurately and even on U-turning mode. However, as condition in paddy fields is very complicated, the system should control the ground speed that prevents it from deviating too much due to ditch and slope.

  • This paper describes a Chuck System developed for scaling PDP gas hole on PDP panel glass. There are lots of constraints for designing Chuck System: high temperature, high vacuum, precious motor control etc. A such constraints was considered by design of structure and by selecting of parts and material for Chuck System. The Chuck System was manufactured and assembled after the design process. It was applied on the PDP process unit. For sealing POP hole, precious control of a step motor was important in this system. For this experiment, a step motor, motor driver and micro controller(80196KC) were used.

  • This paper addresses an elevator position control scheme in unified control system. Conventional systems have employed independent micro-processors for speed, car, and group control respectively and the car controller generates a velocity command by combining the time-based and distance-based velocity pattern. In this scheme, it is inevitable that an elevator creeps in the vicinity of target floor, or stops abruptly. The proposed control system employs only one high-performance micro-processor, which can execute the car and group control as well as the speed control. It simply generates the desired position trajectory based on time and on-line corrects a velocity pattern to make the position error be zero. Experimental results show the feasibility of the proposed control scheme.

  • An algorithm of fuzzy variable structrue control is proposed to design a closed loop fuel-injection system for the emission control of automotive gasoline engines. Fuzzy control is combined with sliding control at the switching boundary layer to improve the chattering of the stoichiometric air to fuel ratio. Multi-staged fuzzy rules are introduced to improve the adaptiveness of control system for the various operating conditions of engines, and a simplified technique of fuzzy inference is also adopted to improve the computational efficiency based on nonfuzzy micro-processors. The proposed method provides an effective way of engine controller design due to its hybrid structure satisfying the requirements of robustness and stability. The great potential of the fuzzy variable structure control is shown through a hardware-testing with an Intel 80C186 processor for controller and a typical engine-only model on an AD-100 computer.

  • In this paper a boiler control system simulator is designed and inplemeted in order to evaluate performance of the Fault Tolerant Control System. It simulates a boiler control system of a thermal power plant containtng boiler process, peripheral units and analog controller. The simulator uses a low order linear model for boiler first order models for the peripheral unit. Specifically the model of the analog controller is modularized and transformed to digital form if order to be implemented using a micro-processor board. The experimental results show the usability of the developed simulator for the performance test of the FTCS.

  • Although most of control methods have been studied in the continuous-time domain, the actual control systems have been implemented using MCU (Micro Control Unit) and/or microprocessors so that the overall systems turn to be sampled-data systems. In this case, the stability criterion of the closed-loop system is not easy to derive. In this paper, a simple stability criterion for the sampled-data system with sliding mode controller is derived.

  • In this paper, an embedded micro processor based resistance spot welding controller is introduced which has been recently developed by Hyosung Co. Ltd. The performance of rapid and constant high current control is tested experimentally. This paper shows configurations of measuring system for high current and realtime RMS conversion techniques of sampled discrete data. A digital proportional control is adopted for this system and the result shows that this new product is working well at wide range of welding current and the performance is improved compared with some other commercially available controllers that are widely used in our industries. User friendly MMI system and a computer network system to monitor each welding processes are also presented.

  • In this paper, the current controlled active poler filter(APF) with the performance of reducing harmonic and improving power factor is studied. It has high speed and good performance with low cost. The current controlled shunt APF is proposed, and the control part of APF is designed of SOC(System On Chip). So this system has low expense and good performance. In this study, the micro-controller which designed with VHDL. is applied to APF system. And the proposed technique in this paper demonstrates the excellent of the dedicated micro-controller. VHDL-based ASIC can simplify the process of development and has a competition in market because it reduces the consuming time for the design of IC(Integrated Circuit) in system level.
