Conformal transformations of difference tensors of Finsler space with an $(alpha,beta)$-metric

  • In the Finsler space with an $(\alpha, \beta)$-metric, we can consider the difference tensors of the Finsler connection. The properties of the conformal transformation of these difference tensors are investigated in the present paper. Some conformal invariant tensors are formed in the Finsler space with an $(\alpha, \beta)$-metric related with the difference tensors.

  • By Mazur's theorem, the convex hull of a relatively compact subset a Banach space is also relatively compact. But this is not true any more in the space of fuzzy numbers endowed with the Hausdorff-Skorohod metric. In this paper, we establish a necessary and sufficient condition for which the convex hull of K is also relatively compact when K is a relatively compact subset of the space F(R$\^$k/) of fuzzy numbers of R$\^$k/ endowed with the Hausdorff-Skorohod metric.

  • The object of the present paper is to study ${\eta}$-recurrent ${\ast}$-Ricci tensor, ${\ast}$-Ricci semisymmetric and globally ${\varphi}-{\ast}$-Ricci symmetric contact metric generalized (${\kappa}$, ${\mu}$)-space form. Besides these, ${\ast}$-Ricci soliton and gradient ${\ast}$-Ricci soliton in contact metric generalized (${\kappa}$, ${\mu}$)-space form have been studied.

  • The Euclid metric is well-known and there are many results on the space with that metric. But there are many other metrics which gives more practical and useful results in the plane. In this paper, we introduce new metric function in the plane, which is more useful in city with subway. Finally we generalize to the general metric space and introduce a new metric on ${\mathbb{R}}^n$.

  • We characterize real 4-dimensional Kahler metrices which are critical for natural quadratic Riemannian functionals defined on the space of all Riemannian metrics. In particular we show that such critical Kahler surfaces are either Einstein or have zero scalar curvature. We also make some discussion on criticality in the space of Kahler metrics.

  • In this paper, we introduce a new metric on space $\mathcal{F}(R^p)$ of fuzzy sets and prove that $\mathcal{F}(R^p)$ is separable and complete.
