e-learning 환경에서 대학도서관 강의지원 서비스운영방안 연구 (A Study on the Service Management of Libraries for Academic Courses in e-learning Environment)

  • 본 연구는 e-learning으로 변화된 대학의 강의환경을 반영하여 대학도서관 강의지원 서비스의 의의와 현황을 분석하고, 현재 환경에서 요구되는 서비스운영방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 대학도서관 강의지원 서비스와 대학의 e-learning 환경의 개념 및 특성을 밝히고, 국내외 대학도서관의 강의지원 서비스 현황 및 사례를 조사하여 분석하였다. 국내 현황 파악을 위해 현재 강의지원 서비스를 제공 중인 국내 48개 대학도서관을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였고, 32개 관(67%)이 설문에 참여하였다. 조사결과를 바탕으로 강의지원 서비스운영방안을 인력 및 조직, 자원과 서비스, 정보기술, 커뮤니케이션과 홍보 측면에서 제안하였다.

교육의 새로운 패러다임: Flipped Learning 기회인가 위협인가? (A New Paradigm for Education: Is Flipped Learning a Threat or an Opportunity?)

  • Higher education is under unprecedented pressure for quality improvement and cost containment/reduction due to global competition and ever-increasing tuition costs. These twin challenges require an unconventional approach, and massive open online courses (MOOCs) and flipped learning have recently emerged as two promising educational alternatives not only to address the current problems but also to direct the future of education. This paper discusses the rapidly changing environment for education, MOOCs, and flipped learning as learning alternatives, the relationship between MOOCs and flipped learning, and course redesign for the implementation of flipped learning. The case of Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) is also discussed for benchmarking purposes since it has been pioneering an innovative educational methodology for teaching and learning IT-enabled active learning methods from its inception in 2009. It has redesigned almost 70 courses (20% of all the courses to offer) for flipped learning. The objectives of UNIST's educational experiment are three-fold: improving the quality of education for students, improving teaching productivity for the faculty, and containing/reducing education costs for the university.

공학 기초설계 교과목에서 교수-학습 방법에 따른 수업 결과 분석 (Analysis of Teaching and Learning strategies in Basic Engineering Courses)

  • 본 연구는 공학 기초설계 교과목의 교수-학습 방법에 따른 수업 결과를 분석하고, 시사점을 도출하여 실제 기초 설계 수업에서 실행 가능한 효과적인 교수-학습 방법을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울 소재 A대학교 공과대학 B프로그램 2학년 재학생 총 112명을 대상으로 동일한 교수자가 기초설계 교과목을 프로젝트 중심 수업과 문제 중심 수업으로 운영하여 두개 반의 수업 후 수업결과에 대한 전수조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 문제 중심 수업은 프로젝트 중심 수업에 비해 수업만족도, 교과목 학습성과 달성도, 학업성취도에서 높은 점수를 나타냈으며, 이러한 결과는 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과에 기초하여 실제 기초설계 수업에서 실행 가능한 효과적인 교수-학습 전략을 제안하였다.

변형된 TSP 및 엘라스틱서치 알고리즘 기반의 최적 여행지 코스 추천 시스템 개발 (A Development of Optimal Travel Course Recommendation System based on Altered TSP and Elasticsearch Algorithm)

  • As the quality and level of life rise, many people are doing search for various pieces of information about tourism. In addition, users prefer the search methods reflecting individual opinions such as SNS and blogs to the official websites of tourist destination. Many of previous studies focused on a recommendation system for tourist courses based on the GPS information and past travel records of users, but such a system was not capable of recommending the latest tourist trends. This study thus set out to collect and analyze the latest SNS data to recommend tourist destination of high interest among users. It also aimed to propose an altered TSP algorithm to recommend the optimal routes to the recommended destination within an area and a system to recommend the optimal tourist courses by applying the Elasticsearch engine. The altered TSP algorithm proposed in the study used the location information of users instead of Dijkstra's algorithm technique used in previous studies to select a certain tourist destination and allowed users to check the recommended courses for the entire tourist destination within an area, thus offering more diverse tourist destination recommendations than previous studies.

국내 2+4년제 약학대학 졸업생의 취업 현황에 따른 임상약학 관련 교과과정에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Clinical Pharmacy Education based on the Employment Status of 2+4 Pharmacy School Graduates in South Korea)

  • Background: This study aims to determine whether the new 6-year pharmacy curriculum is designed to help students in their career path based on the employment status of the current 2+4 pharmacy school graduates. Methods: An online survey was conducted to the pharmacists who graduated from Woosuk University College of Pharmacy between 2015 and 2021. The survey questions included the current employment status of the graduates and their feedback on the clinical pharmacy curriculum at Woosuk University. Results: There were a total of 104 graduates who responded to the survey out of 312 graduates of whom the school had current contact information. Most of the graduates are currently working in a community pharmacy (63.5%), followed by hospital pharmacy (27.9%) and pharmaceutical industry (4.8%). Although most graduates were satisfied with clinical pharmacy courses at our college, many thought there needs to be a reinforcement or improvement in the curriculum, including pharmacotherapy and pharmacy practice experiences as well as social pharmacy courses. Conclusion: Based on our study, clinical and social pharmacy are the courses that teach the knowledge and skills required in community and hospital pharmacy and yet, are most in need of improvement. As most graduates work in a community or hospital pharmacy, it is necessary to improve our pharmacy curriculum so that they can learn and demonstrate their clinical skills effectively.

한방비계내과학 내 중요 본초 및 처방 분석 연구 (Study on core herbs and herbal prescriptions from Internal medicine on Spleen system in Korean Medicine)

  • Objective : This study aims to study core herbs and formulas in Internal medicine on Spleen system, to enhance efficiency in teaching Internal medicine on Spleen system, Herbalogy, Formula science, and to increase integration of the courses. Methods : Frequency notion, which was generally used in previous studies, was used in this study along with network analysis. Results : Frequently used herbs, herbs with high centrality, frequently combined herbs and core formula were found in this study. The herb with the highest frequency and centrality was 'Citri Unshius Pericarpium', and 'Atractylodis Rhizoma Alba - Citri Unshius Pericarpium' was the most frequent herb combination. The results of network analysis showed a total of 5 herbal communities of combination. Conclusion : Core herbs were found based on the frequency notion, which is a traditional analysis method. Also, core herbs, herbal combinations, formulas that can that may be overlooked when using frequency notions were found by using network analysis. The results may lead to enhancing efficiency in the education of Internal medicine on Spleen system, Herbalogy, Formula science courses and the integration of courses.

팀원 기여도에 대한 동료평가의 신뢰성과 성적 반영 방법에 대한 연구 -종합설계교과목을 중심으로- (A Study on the Reliability of Peer-evaluation for Team Members' Contributions and Incorporating Method into Grades - Focusing on the Capstone Design -)

  • The capstone design classes in the College of Engineering are often team project-oriented, and teamwork skills are reported to positively impact problem-solving abilities. While team project courses have various advantages, they also come with challenges such as social loafing and issues related to free riders, which consistently hinder the positive effects of team project courses. To prevent these issues, there is a need to provide a clear evaluation-reward system for team members' contributions. In this study, we examined the reliability of peer evaluation scores for team members' contributions and reviewed methods to incorporate them into team project grades. The review results indicated that peer evaluation scores are deemed to have considerable reliability from a qualitative perspective. However, due to the relatively small team size in team project courses (3 to 6 members per team), using the arithmetic mean of peer evaluation scores is statistically challenging. As a complementary approach, this study proposes limiting the reflection ratio of peer evaluation scores and applying a more macroscopic processing method, not the arithmetic mean, to incorporate peer evaluation scores for team contributions into grades.

미국 대학 시큐리티 교육내용에 관한 연구 -한국 대학교육과 비교를 중심으로- (Research for the Security Studies in the Universities of U. S. A.)

  • 미국의 시큐리티 발달은 미국 산업의 발달과 밀접한 연관성을 갖는다. 미국은 19세기 급속한 산업화가 진행되면서 시큐리티 분야도 동반 발전을 하였고, 미국의 분권적인 지방자치 정치체제는 이러한 시큐리티의 발전에 우호적인 환경으로 작용을 하였다. 미국 시큐리티 산업의 발달과 더불어 시큐리티 전문요원을 양성 배출하는 대학의 경우도 관련 학과를 설치하여 전문교육을 실시하고 있다. 미국에서는 현재 103개의 대학에 관련학과(Criminal Justice)가 설치되어 있으며, 범죄와 관련한 다양한 영역에서 180여개의 과목을 가르치고 있다. 미국 대학의 시큐리티 학문적 경향은 법률과 교정 분야(Law, Justice and Corrections)가 21.6%로서 가장 많은 비중을 차지하고 있었고, 다음으로 형사사법과 소송 분야(Criminal Justice and Procedures)가 20.5%를 차지하여, 법률분야가 총 42.1%로서 전체 중 절대적 비중을 차지하고 있었다. 즉, 미국 대학의 시큐리티 학문적 경향은 법률분야(형사법)에 거의 치중되어 있었다. 또한, 10개 이상의 대학에서 사용하고 있는 공통 교과목의 명칭을 살펴보면, Introduction to Criminal Justice(18개 대학), Criminal Law(18개 대학), Criminology(16개 대학), Criminal Procedures(16개 대학), Research Methods in Criminal Justice(16개 대학), Criminal Investigation(12개 대학), Juvenile Justice(10개 대학), Terrorism(10개 대학), Ethical Issues in Criminal Justice(10개 대학) 등의 9개 과목이다. 미국 대학의 학문적 경향은 범죄예방의 방법을 실정법을 통해서 강구하고 교정을 통해서 찾고 있다는 점이다. 또한, 범죄환경을 제공하는 사회적 배경 또는 사회현상의 중요성에 대해서도 사회과학 분야(Social Science) 의 커리큘럼을 통해 교육이 이루어지고 있었다.

치위생과 전공심화과정을 위한 학습자 요구분석 및 결과활용 사례 (Analysis of learner needs for advanced dental hygiene major courses)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the needs of learners in an advanced major course in a bid to strike a balance between theory and practice. And it's also meant to suggest an actual case of that effort in an advanced course. As a result of analyzing the collected data, the largest number of the learners who signed up for the advanced course chose that course to earn a bachelor's degree, and the second greatest group did that to bolster their expertise. The name of the college that offered that course (41.4%) had the most impact on their choice of it, followed by accessibility(28.6%). The most common thing they practiced in the oral health education course as one of major courses was forming a lesson plan, followed by teaching at schools and kindergartens, trial student teaching, producing PPT, making OHP materials, making a bulletin board and producing leaflets. During clinical activities for oral health education, the largest group considered it necessary to learn about more theories on educational psychology(54%), followed by the production of teaching media(29.9%) and teaching methods(25.3%). Likewise, the greatest group found it more necessary to practice educational psychology(42.5%), followed by the utilization of media(37.9%) and teaching methods(28.7%). An one-on-one interview was implemented before and after their classes to obtain more detailed information on their needs, and what their needs were in relation to the given curriculum was eventually confirmed, which made it possible to offer better education in response to their needs.

  • 본 연구에서는 H 대학교의 교양 컴퓨터 교과목 중에 '컴퓨터와 프레젠테이션 기법'의 수업 사례를 개발 및 적용한 결과를 제시하고 한다. 이 논문의 목적은 인지적 도제를 사용하는 교양 컴퓨터 과정의 학습에 대한 교수 설계의 효과를 보여주고, 학습 내용 평가 영역의 평가 요소인 수업계획, 강의내용, 교수법의 대한 만족도를 조사하는 것이다. 연구 결과, 인지적 도제 이론은 수업계획, 강의 내용, 교수법에 대한 만족도를 높여주었다. 그러므로 본 연구는 인지적 도제 이론이 교양 컴퓨터 수업에 효과적임을 파악한 점에서 의의를 지니며 향후 교양 컴퓨터 관련 과목의 효과적인 교수법으로 확대 적용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
