In this paper, nitrogen-doped reduced graphene oxide(rGO) is obtained by thermal annealing of nitrogen-containing compounds and graphene oxide (GO) manufactured by modified Hummers' method. We use melamine as a nitrogen-containing compound and treat GO thermally with melamine at over $800{\sim}1,000^{\circ}C$ and 1 ~ 3 hr under Ar atmosphere. The electrical conductivity of doped rGO is measured by 4-point probe method. As a result, nitrogen contents on rGO are found to be in the range of 2.5 to 12.5 at% depending on the doping conditions after thermal annealing. The main doping site on graphene oxide is changed from pyridinic-N and pyrrolinic N to the graphitic site as the heat treatment temperature increases. The electrical conductivity of doped rGO increases as the N doping content increases. As the thermal treatment time increases, the change of both total doping contents and doping sites is slight and the surface resistance is remarkably reduced, which is caused by healing effects of doped graphene oxide at high temperature.
Porous carbons have been widely used as electrode material for supercapacitors. However, commercial porous carbons, such as activated carbons, have low electrochemical performance. Nitrogen-doping is one of the most promising strategies to improve electrochemical performance of porous carbons. In this study, nitrogen self-doped porous carbon (NPC) is prepared from melamine foam by carbonization to improve the supercapacitive performance. The prepared NPC is characterized in terms of the chemical structures and elements, morphology, pore structures, and electrochemical performance. The results of the N2 physisorption measurement, X-ray diffraction, and Raman analyses reveal that the prepared NPC has bimodal pore structures and pseudo-graphite structures with nitrogen functionality. The NPC-based electrode exhibits a gravimetric capacitance of 153 F g-1 at 1 A g-1, a rate capability of 73.2 % at 10 A g-1, and an outstanding cycling ability of 97.85 % after 10,000 cycles at 10 A g-1. Thus, the NPC prepared in this study can be applied as electrode material for high-performance supercapacitors.

The fixing behaviors of raw silk yarns treated with melamine and formaldehyde at a molar ratio of 1:3 for trimethylolmelamine were investigated. Sericin was fixed during the fixing process, but a part of sericin I was removed simultaneously by hot water. The weight losses by fixing and the degumming losses by degumming greatly decreased with increasing concentrations of melamine and formaldehyde. The silk yarns fixed with 0.011 M melamine and 0.033M formaldehyde were significantly degummed due to the insufficient fixation of sericin and the alkaline hydrolysis of sericin by sodium carbonate during the degumming process. On the other hand, the silk yarns fixed with 0.055M melamine and 0.165M formaldehyde were degummed slightly (the degumming losses of 3-8%) due to the strong fixation of sericin, which might result from the many cross-linkages between the sericin I molecules, which were formed by trimethylolmelamine. Those fixed with the fixing solution containing 15% owf softener showed the lowest weight and degumming losses because under the condition of 15% owf softener, the cation of the softener can effectively form ionic bonds with the negatively charged side chain of aspartic acid in sericin. In addition, van der Waals' forces may be also formed between the hydrophobic tail of the softener and the hydrophobic region of sericin, which may help inhibit the removal of sericin I.
Polyurethane/melamine phosphate composite foam (MP-PUF) was prepared from poly(adipate)diol/melamine phosphate composite (f=2), polyether-polyol (f=4.6), and PMDI (f=2.5). The thermal properties of MP-PUF such as morphology, closed-cell content, thermal conductivity, and thermal stabilities were characterized. Water was used as a blowing agent, and the composition of melamine phosphate (MP) was maintained at $1.43{\pm}0.3wt%$ of MP-PUF. As the content of water increased, the thermal conductivity of pure polyurethane foam (PUF) decreased, whereas the thermal conductivity of MP-PUF increased. The thermal stabilities of the PUF and the MP-PUF were maximized at 5 php $H_2O$, and then decreased at the higher $H_2O$ contents. The thermal stabilities of MP-PUF were greatly enhanced due to the synergetic effect of MP and urea, which was generated during the blowing process. The temperature of 50% residual mass of MP-PUF increased to $370{\sim}450^{\circ}C$ and the temperature of 30% residual mass exceeded over $700^{\circ}C$. Compared to the PUF, the temperature of 50% residual mass and 30% residual mass were higher than 25 and $70^{\circ}C$, respectively.

This study intended to manufacture high quality cement, such as solving the quality problem of cement which has been emerging recently, along with improving grinding efficiency. To this end, the synthesis of melamine-functional pulverizing agents and the physical properties of cement applying them were reviewed and the reaction was carried out by dividing the melamine airborne compound into three stages of polymerization using methylation, sulfonation, and acid catalyst to improve the crushing efficiency of cement clinker and the physical properties of manufactured cement. The obtained melamine type copolymer was applied to the grinding process of cement clinker. And it's grinding efficiency and compressive strength were compared with DEG(diethylene glycol) and TIPA(triisopropanol amine). When it comes to the grinding efficiency, by lowering surface energy with stable adsorption from organic polymer to cement particles, the fineness showed 4-6% up. In the meantime, the compression strength hiked 30% from its initial strength compared to the conventional DEG. At the age of 28days, the strength showed approximately 13% improvement. Therefore, it is confirmed that the overall quality has been elevated in comparison with the conventional one.
This research was carried out to examine the substitutional feasibility of low-priced materials produced in waste of forest instead of wheat flour which is extended for plywood adhesives. Wheat, pine bark, wood flour and pine foliage of coniferous trees or poplar foliage of hardwood species were selected and pulverized into 60-100 mesh minute powder after they were dried at $100-105^{\circ}C$ during 24 hours in the drying oven. The prepared particles as above were added to urea formaldehyde resin, urea-melamine copolymer resin and water soluble phenol formaldehyde resin in the ratio of 10, 20, 30 and 50%. After plywoods were processed by the above extending ratios, shear strength of extended plywoods were analyzed and discussed. The results obtained at this study were summarised as follows; 1. In the case of urea formaldehyde resin, both dry and wet shear strength of plywoods extended by wheat flour were shown the highest value. 2. Dry shear strength of urea-melamine copolymer resin was better than that of urea formaldehyde resin on the whole, while plywoods extended by wheat flour were shown excellent results. 3. Among 10% and 20% extensions of urea-melamine copolymer resin, the best results were shown by poplar leaves powder, wheat powder and wood flour. They had no significant difference statistically. 4. In the case of water soluble phenol formaldehyde resin, although dry shear strength of pine leaves powder was higher than that of wheat flour in the ratio of 10%, there was no significant difference between them in the ratio of 10 and 20%. 5. Among 20, 30 and 50% extensions of water soluble phenol formaldehyde resin, wet shear strength of wood flour and bark powder was higher than that of wheat flour. Wet shear strength of wood flour in the ratio of 10% was shown the same tendency as above.
A. niger H-18 and A. fumigatus E-29 wrer selected for their strong abilities to produce cellulase. The λd numerical values of the cotton fabrics inoculated with A. niger H-18 and A. fumigatus E-29 were 580 nm for the both strains of molds. By the growth of molds, lightness, original color scale, and grey scale of the fabrics gradually decreased while chroma increased. The minimum inhibitory concentrations of mold-proofing agents, such as Leperon WL, 8-hydroxyquinoline copper acetate, trimethylol melamine and dimethyl ethylene urea was 50 ppm. Glycoxale was not effective at the above mentioned concentration. Since Leperon WL, trimethylol melamine and dimethyl ethylene urea effectively inhibited the growth of A. niger H-18 and A. fumigatus E-29, tensile strength and elongation of the fabrics were not changed. however, cotton fabrics treated with glycoxale of the fabrics were not changed. However, cotton fabrics treated with glycoxale and inoculated with A. niger H-18 and A. fumigatus E-29 showed decreased in tensile strength by 31.1% and 33.9%, respectively.

Melamine resin microcapsules with mean sizes from 500 to 600 m were prepared by using a micro-tubular reactor (microreactor) with toluene and sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) as emulsifiers. Conventional stirring method with telomeric surfactant in place of SDS produced microcapsules with mean sizes from 100 to 200 nm. Preparation by means of microreactor method with telomeric surfactant gave microcapsules with sizes below 200 nm in narrow particle size distribution. TG analysis revealed that the microcapsules contained 50 wt% of toluene.

Development of diamond wheel with fine grains and multi-pore structures were newely attempted to be studied in this paper. Wheels, that are employed for the smooth and mirrow finishing of die materials such as tungsten carbide alloy using tool and die materials, must have both performances to remove tool marks efficiently and to contact elastically with curved surfaces. Diamond abrasive grains were bonded firmly by a melamine to prevent the decrease of machining efficiency due to grain sinking within the bond materials. Also, highly foamed structures were developed to increase the flexibility of the wheel, and to induce active self-sharpening by increasing contact pressure between the wheel and work sufaces. In this paper, melamine-bonded diamond wheels are trial manufactured, then the forming method of wheels are explained.
