  • We investigate relations between multiplicity of solutions and source terms in a elliptic equation. We have a concerne with a sharp result for multiplicity of a nonlinear Laplacian differential equation.

  • We obtain new upper bound of the area of a constant breath curve. We estimate the area of a constant breadth curve in terms of its breadth and minimal radius and the arc length of its pedal curve.

  • Explicit hounds are obtained for the perturbed, or corrected, trapezoidal and midpoint rules in terms of the Lebesque norms of the second derivative of the function. It is demonstrated that the bounds obtained are the same for both rules although the perturbation or the correction term is different.

  • In this paper, we deal with partially conformal geodesic transformations in Kahler geometry by using Fermi coordinates when tile submanifold is a geodesic sphere. We derive the necessary and sufficient condition for tile existence of such transformation in terms of the Jacobi operator and its derivative.

  • In this paper we characterize cancellation ideals in terms of multiplication ideals. Especially, we find a condition for an ideal generated by three elements to be a cancellation ideal.
