This study aims to present the necessity of 'mathematics for teacher' and advices for enhancing professionalism of mathematics teacher. Many mathematics teachers don't know formula giving roots of cubic and quartic equation which is presented as a example of mathematics for teacher, but they feel the necessity of professional knowledge like mathematics for teacher. As the role of mathematics teachers changes, professionalism in various fields is required. That is, they must be equipped with the belief and attitude as a professional and understand the content of mathematics for teacher and mathematics education theory. After all, loaming mathematics depends on the quality of mathematics teacher.

This study examines the effects of reflective journal writing on the mathematics self-efficacy in reciprocal peer tutoring. Participants were 38 high school students in Gyeonggi province who attended at a summer intensive mathematics course for 4 weeks. This study used a mixed method. SPSS 21.0 program was used to analyze the quantitative data, and the interviews, observational journals and reflective journals of 6 students were used to analyze qualitative data. According to the results, all the subcategories of mathematics self-efficacy, - mathematics problem-efficacy, mathematics success-efficacy, mathematics learning-efficacy, and mathematics subject-efficacy - improved except mathematics occupation-efficacy. In case of mathematics success-efficacy and mathematics problem-efficacy, students revealed the greatest improvement. In conclusion, reflective journal writing in reciprocal peer tutoring could be suggested as a treatment program to improve students' mathematics self-efficacy.

중국 수학을 토대로 조선 수학이 발전된 것은 잘 알려져 있다. 이 논문에서는 조선에 유입된 중국 산서의 역사를 조사하여 중국 수학이 조선 수학에 끼친 영향을 연구한다. 15세기 세종(世宗)대에 들어온 중국 수학, 17세기 서양 수학의 영향을 받은 중국 수학과 19세기 중국에서 재정리된 송, 원대의 수학으로 나누어 이들이 유입되는 과정도 함께 조사한다.

The paper analyzes the philosophy of mathematics and outlook on the mathematics education as the philosophy of mathematics in the history of mathematics. We have found that various views of the human society have led us to the various philosophy of mathematics. This change of philosophy have important implications to the didactics of mathematics. This study tries to find out the direction of outlook on the mathematics education in the future.

The paper is analyzed the crisis of mathematics for paradoxes in mathematics, also its process of conquest in the history of mathematics. We have found that various views of the infinity and infinitesimal in the history of mathematics. This study be tried to find out the process development of mathematics on passing through a crisis conquest of mathematics for contradictions in the hi story of mathematics.

The purposes of this study were to find out coping behavior to mathematics anxiety depending on grade, sex, mathematics achievement, and mathematics anxiety in elementary school students and to find out the variables influencing coping behavior to mathematics anxiety. 991 students (grade: 4, 5, 6) completed questionnaires about mathematics anxiety and coping behavior to mathematics anxiety. Their home room teachers completed scores of the mathematics achievement test of their students. Data were analyzed by F-test, t-test, correlation and step wise multiple regression. The results of this study were as follows. First, there were statistically significant differences in coping behavior to mathematics depending on grade, mathematics achievement and level of mathematics anxiety except for sex. Second, the level of mathematics anxiety was the most important factor in coping behavior to mathematics.

본 논문은 먼저 수학교육에서 수학사를 활용하고자 하는 이론적 배경으로 역사발생적원리를 중심으로 고찰하고 실제 중학교 교과서에서 수학사 활용 정도를 확인하다. 수학교실에서 수학사 활용의 성공적인 안착을 위해 예비수학교사교육에 수학사를 포함해야 하는 근거를 교사의 지식의 측면에서 살펴보고 예비수학교사를 위한 수학사 활용 프로그램을 제안한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate various mathematics education improvement or reform movements of Western Europe countries (United Kingdom, Germany, etc.) and the United States of America, to see the effects of those movements on Korean mathematics education circle, and to find a direction of Korean mathematics curriculum design. The third Korean mathematics curriculum was most affected by the new mathematics movement of the United States of America. This movement was emphasizing abstract structure, logical rigorousness and discovery learning of mathematics, which was fired from late fifties. Korean mathematics education circle imported the new mathematics early seventies from USA, but serious problems had been found at that time in USA. This study has pointed out that new math oriented Korean mathematics curriculum was not proper and the new mathematics itself was disastrous for most Korean students' learning. The study also points out that they hurried too much introducing the new mathematics and publishing new mathematics oriented textbooks but they had not sufficient teacher training programs. In our future mathematics curriculum reform, we have to remember such a historical lesson.

The purpose of this study to analyze correlation for the tendency of mathematics anxiety, traits according to the factors of mathematics anxiety and mathematics attitude depending on the teacher variable through a survey of mathematics anxiety and attitude toward mathematics on teaching mathematics of elementary school teachers. To solve the questions above, sampled 250 elementary school teachers in Daegu province. As a result of the study, mathematics anxiety on teaching is not actually formed a lot. However, the more training experience with mathematics, previous academic career, education career were, the lower mathematics anxiety was. The results showed that mathematics anxiety is affected by previous academic career, training experience with mathematics in particular. In addition, we found that mathematics anxiety is affected by mathematics anxiety in their school, recognition of the ability to explain mathematics contents and attitudes toward mathematics.

The history of mathematics is an important part of Chinese highschool mathematics curriculum. The current 2003 revised curriculum in China refers directly to the history of mathematics and presents it as one of the optional series. Moreover, they publish separate history textbooks for mathematics according to the 2003 revised curriculum. The importance of the history of mathematics in Chinese highschool curriculum, which was revised in 2017, has increased. This study aims to analyze the contents of the highschool curriculum and mathematics history textbooks, which were revised in 2003. Based on the results of analysis, we make suggestions on the use of mathematics history for teaching mathematics in Korea.
