We investigate the multiplicity of the solutions for a class of the system of the biharmonic equations with some singular potential nonlinearity. We obtain a theorem which shows the existence of the nontrivial weak solution for a class of the system of the biharmonic equations with singular potential nonlinearity and Dirichlet boundary condition. We obtain this result by using variational method and the generalized mountain pass theorem.

Necessary and sufficient conditions for a radical class of rings to satisfy the polynomial equation $\rho$(R[x]) = ($\rho$(R))[x] have been investigated. The interrelationsh of polynomial equation, Amitsur property and polynomial extensibility is given. It has been shown that complete analogy of R.E. Propes result for radicals of matrix rings is not possible for polynomial rings.

A nonparametric procedure for testing exponentially against used better than aged in expectation (UBAE) class of life distributions is presented. We construct a test statistics based on scaled total time on test (TTT)-transformation, to test exponentiality against UBAE class of life distributions. The distribution of the statistic is investigated via simulation. Practical applications of the proposed test are presented.

This paper was developmented for teaching of claculus in college with multimedia contents. We focused the point of lecture materials with internet network in mathematics class. We used the 3-D graphics and Java applet with HTML for making contents. We hope this contents is used in calculus class at university.

In this paper, using differential operator, we have introduce new class of p-valent uniformly convex functions in the unit disc U = {z : |z| < 1} and obtain the coefficient bounds, extreme bounds and radius of starlikeness for the functions belonging to this generalized class. Furthermore, partial sums $f_k(z)$ of functions $f(z)$ in the class $S^*({\lambda},{\alpha},{\beta})$ are considered. The various results obtained in this paper are sharp.

Let $f:f(z)=z+{\sum^{{\infty}}_{n=2}}a_nz^n$ be analytic in the open unit disc E. Then f is said to belong to the class $M_{\alpha}$ of alpha-convex functions, if it satisfies the condition ${\Re}\{(1-{{\alpha})}{\frac{zf^{\prime}(z)}{f(z)}}+{{\alpha}}{\frac{(zf^{\prime}(z))^{\prime})}{f^{\prime}(z)}}\}$ > 0, ($z{\in}E$). In this paper, we introduce and study q-analogue of the class $M_{\alpha}$ by using concepts of Quantum Analysis. It is shown that the functions in this new class $M(q,{\alpha})$ are q-starlike. A problem related to q-Bernardi operator is also investigated.

In this paper, we introduce a class of p-valent meromorphic functions associated with linear operator and derive several interesting results of this class.
