The government operates autonomous safety management activities in the regulated safety management in order to prevent industrial accidents. On the other side, companies are promoting safety management in the workplace, such as improving the safety level of the safety system, but the major reason for the accidents is safety ignorance in the event of big accidents. This study aims to improve the safety culture level by analyzing the difference in safety culture among six workplace sites in the manufacture of food products and drawing the improvement point. The main result is as follows. In order to enhance the safety level of the safety system, it is necessary to minimize the number of systems to be implemented, and to strengthen the small safety management activities that workers participate directly in the workforce, and the incentive policy for the promotion of the safety management activities should be coordinated by each group. Due to the high proportion of female workers, the proportion of female workers should be encouraged to actively participate in the safety of women, thereby improving safety culture levels and improving safety awareness through customized safety education. By learning work procedures through theory and practice, the level of safety culture should be increased. Employees voluntary safety participation activities should increase the level of mutual safety culture. Depending on spontaneous safety participation activities, one should promote safety culture enhancement activities by enhancing the safety level of the safety culture and enhance safety culture through safety awareness, and promote safety culture and procedures for improving safety culture.

본 논문에서는 기업이 경영활동들에 대해 생각하는 중요성 정도를 경기 침체 전후로 구분하여 경영성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 경영활동 요인을 발견하고자 한다. 또한, 기업이 포함되어 있는 산업별로, 기업이 참여하는 정부 지원정책 유형별로 경영활동별 중요도가 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 분석 결과에 따르면, 경기침체 이전과 이후에 동일하게 주로 '국내 외부 기술 도입'과 '신제품 출시' 등의 경영활동이 중요하다고 생각할수록 매출액에 유의한 영향을 주고, 추가적으로 경기침체 이전에는 '외국 외부 기술 도입' 활동이, 경기침체 이후에는 '자금조달' 활동이 매출액에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 대기업과 중소기업, IT기업과 비IT기업, 연구개발 투자 비중이 높은 기업과 낮은 기업, 그리고 참여한 정부 지원정책이 다른 기업별로 매출액에 영향을 주는 경영활동은 서로 다른 결과가 나타났다. 즉, 경영성과를 제고할 수 있는 경영활동의 지원은 모든 기업에게 공통적으로 제공되는 것보다는 기업의 특성을 고려하여 적절한 방법으로 이루어져야 한다는 것을 확인할 수 있다.

Patent management activities are considered to play a key role for technology-based firms under the recent knowledge-based economies. This is because intellectual property, including patents, can act as a system for continuous profit generation by protecting firms' products, processes and services. In Korea, healthcare industry is now regarded as one of the promising next generation industries. Despite the promise of healthcare industry, Korean healthcare product manufacturers are faced with turbulent business changes, such as market opening. Even though there are various industrial studies on the effect of patent management activities on firm outcome, previous studies have hardly paid attention to Korean healthcare product manufacturing firms. For this reason, this study identifies the effect of patent management activities, such as patenting activeness, technical excellence and cooperation degree, on firm outcomes, including financial profitability and firm growth, with respect to the Korean healthcare product manufacturers. In this study, we located 86 Korean healthcare manufacturing firms from KORCHAMBIZ and DART, and then collected the data of their patenting activities and outcomes between 2001 and 2013. By applying factor analysis and regression analysis, our empirical study found that firms' patenting activeness has the significant positive relationship on firms' financial profitability, and firms' patenting activeness and technical excellence have the significant positive relationship on firms' financial growth. Our study is an initial attempt to identify the effect of patent management activities on firm outcome within Korean healthcare product manufacturing industry, and thus its results can be used as the basis to formulate national policies for Korean healthcare product industry.

본 연구는 요양보호사의 환자안전 지식과 환자안전관리 활동의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개 효과를 확인하기 위해 수행된 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료수집은 노인요양시설과 재가센터 소속 요양보호사를 대상으로 2022년 7월 1일부터 7월 29일까지 실시되었으며, 197명의 자료가 최종 분석에 사용되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 28.0 프로그램을 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé test, Person's correlation coefficients, Hierarchical multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 요양보호사의 환자안전 지식과 자기효능감(r=.653, p<.001), 환자안전 지식과 환자안전관리 활동(r=.467, p<.001)은 각각 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 또한 요양보호사의 환자안전 지식과 환자안전관리 활동의 관계에서 자기효능감의 완전 매개효과가 확인되었고, 설명력은 46.8%였다. 따라서 요양보호사의 환자안전관리 활동을 강화하기 위해서는 자기효능감 향상을 위한 체계적인 프로그램 개발과 함께 교육의 기회가 제공되어야 할 것이다.

As the industry develops, the amount of wastes is increasing in the economic system with various needs. As a result, the environmental problems are emerging as serious social issues and all the parties are required to make their best efforts. Among the issues proposed as the environmental issues, the logistics-related issues are exhaustion of the resources, global warming, environmental pollution, and acidification and so on. In order to respond to the environmental issues of the earth, the advanced countries are setting retrenched goals, reduction of the new greenhouse gases and accomplishment of retrenched goals by cooperation between the nations. Economic activities inevitably bring environmental problems and logistics is implementing those activities. The companies should perform the roles to resolve the environmental problems as the main cause of environmental pollution. Therefore, along with spreading recognition of social demand, the companies are required to establish policies regarding the environment and they should approach the issues from the perspective of resource circulation. These environment-friendly activities are emerging as the new source of competitiveness in the logistics field. Therefore, this study analyzes the effects of environment-friendly logistics activities on the reduction of logistics cost to reduce and resolve the environmental issues such as environment preservation, recycling and so on.

Purpose - This study is aim to stimulate ESG management of SMEs in Korea with SWOT analysis. Presently, ESG is also affecting a company's supply chain and sales. We tried to make the complementary point of Korea SMEs through domestic and foreign cases. Design/methodology/approach - We divide foreign cases into three countries, and in Korea, also divide into three groups of government, major companies, SMEs to conduct SWOT analysis. Findings - We confirmed that ESG activities were delayed in Korea compared to overseas, but the government and major companies were responding quickly. However, SMEs are complaining of difficulties in ESG activities due to cost issues and limited information. Nevertheless, some SMEs companies show the possibility by carrying out ESG activities based on their own strengths. Research implications or Originality - We suggested the need for SMEs' ESG management. The SMEs are inevitably vulnerable to ESG management compared to other groups. Therefore, We suggested the direction of SMEs ESG management expansion, that are R&D and distribution of eco-friendly activities through collaboration with universities(E), social program to improve working places(S), and expansion of governance that guarantees autonomy(G).

The study aims to investigate the relationship between innovation activities and business process performance in higher education institution (hereinafter referred to as "HEI") context. The data was collected using a survey and later analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLSSEM) and SmartPLS software. A total of 50 questionnaires were submitted from respondents representing vocational study program management located in Makassar, Indonesia. The findings show that two hypotheses discussed in this study fit the empirical data. Specifically, the results show that there is a positive relationship between innovation activities and business process performance, involving two types of innovation activities, which are exploration activities and exploitation activities, within HEIs. Explorative activity is firmly related to exploitative activity, which furthermore links to business process performance within the HEIs observed. The results confirm that exploration activity can stimulate and lead the HEIs management to generate exploitation activity. For instance, capabilities to absorb knowledge from the external institution may lead this institution to generate advanced academic processes, as well as more efficient and effective managerial processes. The study also signifies ambidexterity capacity, suggesting that it may lead HEIs management to formulate proper strategies in achieving better performance and gaining competitive advantage.

This study investigated the method of continuous improvement of small-medium company production processes through POSCO's QSS(Quick Six Sigma) activities. QSS is a field operation technique that encompasses the advantages of Six Sigma, TPS(Toyota Production System), TQM (Total Quality Management), and IE(Industrial Engineering). Through this, POSCO not only encourages activities centered on related small and medium-sized partners, etc., but is also expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's own production process through QSS activities. In this study, rather than unconditionally carrying out activities according to the needs of large companies, the research is to help the continuous improvement of the actual production process of small and medium-sized enterprises by effectively applying and spreading QSS activities in consideration of the characteristics and environment of the company. For this purpose, empirical research is conducted on the process improvement activities and QSS activities of company Y, which has less than 100 assembly and production quality and inspection processes among SMEs. The changes in the production process improvement of SMEs through the application of the final QSS were investigated through empirical studies.

본 연구에서는 기업의 사회적 책임 활동의 영역을 넓혀 나가고 있는 국내 기업과 기관의 사회적 책임 활동이 해당 기업의 노사관계에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있는지를 검증해서, 기업의 사회적 책임 활동이 기업의 구성원으로 하여금 조직신뢰와 노사관계에 긍정적인 또는 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있다면, 기업이 취해야 할 정책적 또는 전략적 과제는 어떠한 것이 있을 수 있는가를 제언하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기업이 사회적 책임활동을 함으로써 직원들의 조직에 대한 활동은 조직의 성과에 영향을 미치는 변수 중 하나인 노사관계에 부분적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 기업구성원들의 조직신뢰의 향상은 노사관계에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같이 본 연구의 결과는 기존의 선행연구에서 다루어지지 않은 기업의 사회적 책임과 조직성과의 중요한 요소인 조직신뢰 및 노사관계간의 직 간접적 영향관계를 입증하였다.

Motorola which had developed and commercialized wireless telephone and mobile phone for the first time in the world made a decision on the separation of the mobile unit from the Motorola due to the continuous bad performance turn. In addition, the Korean company named Raincom which had developed and commercialized MP3 player have been disappeared since Raincom failed to compete with iPod of Apples. What is the main cause the companies that have been top of the world level weed out of IT product market? For less product life cycle and globalization of market, the company's competitiveness tends to be determined based on company's creative capability, rather than process implementation capability. Thus, companies spent a great amount of time and effort in the introduction of creativity management and R&D activities. However, as company's continuous investment on R&D and innovation activities did not lead to business performance, they starts to pay much attention on the effective R&D and innovation activities. Therefore, this paper tries to solve the limitation of the effectiveness of R&D activities by introducing the concept of 'creative quality'. The creative quality is executed by the creative process, which is designed for getting over the limitation of the traditional brainstorming method. This paper presents the concept so called 'creative quality management' and expects it to be an alternative to conquest the limitation of six sigma management.
