자기정렬 구조를 갖는 VGA급 볼로미터의 성능 모델링 (The Performance Modeling of a VGA Bolometer with Self-Aligned Structure)

  • The performance modeling of a $25{\mu}m$ pitch VGA ${\mu}$-bolometer with the self-aligned thermal resistor structure is carried out. The self-aligned thermal resistor can be utilized for the maximizing the thermal resistance and the fill factor of a bolometer, so the performance improvement can be expected. From the results of the performance modeling of the micro-bolometer with self-align thermal resistor for a $25{\mu}m$ pitch $640{\times}480$ microbolometer designed with $0.6{\mu}m$ minimum feature size, the drastic improvements of NETD from 38.7 mK to 19.1 mK, responsivity of 1.9 times are expected with a self aligned thermal resistor structure. The main reason for the performance improvements with a self-aligned thermal resistor structure comes from the increasement of the thermal resistance.

  • In this paper, first we introduce a new notion of generalized Killing structure Jacobi operator for a real hypersurface M in complex hyperbolic two-plane Grassmannians SU2,m/S (U2·Um). Next we prove that there does not exist a Hopf real hypersurface in complex hyperbolic two-plane Grassmannians SU2,m/S (U2·Um) with generalized Killing structure Jacobi operator.

Improved Sensitivity of a Glucose Sensor by Encapsulation of Free GOx in Conducting Polymer Micropillar Structure

  • A simple process of fabricating micropillar structure and its influence upon enhancing electrochemical biosensor response were studied in this work. Conducting polymer PEDOT was used as a base material in formulating a composite with PVA. Micro porous PC membrane filter was used as a template for the micropillar of the composite on ITO electrode. This structure could provide plenty of encapsulating space for enzyme species. After dosing enzyme solution into this space, Nafion film tent was cast over the pillar structure to complete the micropillar cavity structure. In this way, the encapsulation of enzyme could be accomplished without any chemical modification. The amount of enzyme species was easily controllable by varying the concentration of the dosing solution. The more amount of enzyme is stored in the sensor, the higher the electrochemical response is produced. One more reason for the sensitivity improvement comes from the large surface area of the micropillar structure. Application of 0.7 V produced the best current response under the condition of pH 7.4. This biosensor showed linear response to the glucose in 0.1~1 mM range with the average sensitivity of $14.06{\mu}A/mMcm^2$. Detection limit was 0.01 mM based on S/N = 3.

  • Direct Integration method(D.I) and Mode Superposition method(M.S) are used widely in dynamic analysis method for structure with isolation devices. D.I is used firstly because it is consider to nonlinearity of isolation device. M.S is applied in elastic region, but it is difficult to apply M.S because coincidence with othogonality condition in the case of adding the damping of isolation device. In this study, the method for calculation of damping ratio of isolated structure is proposed, and proposed method is verified with analysis for example structure.

  • Let G be a compact Lie group and M a semialgebraic G space in some orthogonal representation space of G. We prove that if G is finite then M has an equivariant semialgebraic triangulation. Moreover this triangulation is unique. When G is not finite we show that M has a semialgebraic G CW complex structure, and this structure is unique. As a consequence compact semialgebraic G space has an equivariant simple homotopy type.

  • This paper analyze the characteristics of three multipliers in finite fields GF(2m) from the point of view of processing time and area complexity. First, we analyze structure of three multipliers; 1) LSB-first systolic array, 2) LFSR structure, and 3) CA structure. To make performance analysis, each multiplier was modeled in VHDL and was synthesized for FPGA implementation. The simulation results show that LFSR structure is best from the point of view of area complexity, and LSB systolic array is best from the point of view of processing time per clock.

  • Let M be a real hypersurface with almost contact metric structure (��, ξ, ��, g) in a nonflat complex space form Mn(c). We denote S and Rξ by the Ricci tensor of M and by the structure Jacobi operator with respect to the vector field ξ respectively. In this paper, we prove that M is a Hopf hypersurface of type (A) in Mn(c) if it satisfies Rξ�� = ��Rξ and at the same time satisfies $({\nabla}_{{\phi}{\nabla}_{\xi}{\xi}}R_{\xi}){\xi}=0$ or Rξ��S = S��Rξ.

  • Let M be a real hypersurface with almost contact metric structure $(\phi,g,\xi,\eta)$ in a complex space form $M_n(c)$, $c\neq0$. In this paper we prove that if $R_{\xi}L_{\xi}g=0$ holds on M, then M is a Hopf hypersurface in $M_n(c)$, where $R_{\xi}$ and $L_{\xi}$ denote the structure Jacobi operator and the operator of the Lie derivative with respect to the structure vector field $\xi$ respectively. We characterize such Hopf hypersurfaces of $M_n(c)$.

  • 충치 예방물질의 지속적인 연구로 Jack Fruit 잎으로부터 새로운 procyanidin류를 분리하였고 thiolysis 및 기기 분석에 의해 구조를 결정하였다. 신규화합물의 화학 구조는 flavan-3-ol 화합물의 삼량체인 $(-)-epiafzele-chin-(4{\beta}{\rightaroow}8)-afzelechin-(4{\alpha}{\rightaroow}8)-catechin$의 구조로, 분자량이 $833\;[M-H]^-$ 이었다. 화학 구조가 결정된 신규화합물의 glucosyltransferase저해 실험 결과 1.0 mM에서 완벽한 저해 효과가 관찰되었고 저해기작은 비경쟁적 저해제임을 알았다.

구조계획 측면에서 본 일본 목구조 교육시설의 구성특성 분석 (A Study on the Composition Features of Educational Facilities for Timber Structure in Japan with respect to Structural Planning)

  • In order to figure out the usability of various timber structures in the educational facility, the recent timber structure examples published in the Japanese architectural magazine, 'ShinKenchiku' over the past five years were surveyed. As the results, timber structures were presented in many cases of nursery schools and kindergartens overwhelmingly, and they also used in various school buildings, university facilities, and the roof structure of the school's gymnasium, with intention of having the differentiated design and space features. The examples show that span 6 to 10m is generally used with flexure structure system and flexure+compression structure system added the strut as compression members. In addition concerning stability, it was founded that the struts have an stability effect in the flexure+compression structure system, and flexure structure system examples using semi-rigid joints have open spaces liberally in two-way direction for about 9m span. For large spaces structures with span of 15~20m or more, the various structural system such as suspension structure, truss, flexure+compression, etc. was designed to overcome the material limitations of timbers and to make an design effect in structure system.
