저농약인증 농가의 유기.무농약 전환의향 분석 (Research on Farming Practice Change of Low-pesticide Farmers)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of abolishing the low-pesticide agricultural product certification on environmentally friendly farming. A survey was conducted to quantitatively analyze farming practices and factors that change farming practice. It was found that only 17.0% of low-pesticide fruit farmers said that they will change their farming practice into organic or pesticide-free farming. With regard to the factors of farming practice change, binomial logistic regression model was applied for the analysis. In the analysis, it was found that farmers who grow the low-pesticide agricultural product are more likely to change their farming practice into organic or pesticide-free farming, as their expected price of organic or pesticide-free products is high, their area size is small, price premium of low-pesticide agricultural product is low, the frequency of their training is high. It is necessary to enhance the direct payment system to enlarge organic and nonpesticide acreage, and pest management techniques for fruits should be developed for low-pesticide fruit farmers to change their practice into organic and nonpesticide practice. Dissemination of cultivation manual, introduction of insurance to farmers, improvement of certificate system, and advertising and marketing of environment-friendly agricultural products are useful to develop environment-friendly agriculture.

저농약농산물 대체인증 필요성에 대한 연구 (A Study on Necessity of Alternative Certification for Low-pesticide Agricultural Products)

  • The objective of this study is to propose a necessity of alternative certification for low-pesticide agricultural products (LPAP). For this, we conduct a survey consumer and distributor. Most of consumer does not aware an abolition of LPAP. After abolition, they will purchase pesticide-free, organic, conventional, GAP certificated in order. Both consumer and distributor need an alternative certification of LPAP and have willingness-to-purchase. However, it is necessary to make up for the reliability and objectivity on the alternative and to manage a poor certification. The results of this study is meaningful to distribution and consumption of environment-friendly agricultural products.

유기농산물 소비자인식이 재구매의사에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Consumer Awareness of Organic Agricultural Products on Repurchase Intention)

  • Purpose - The number of consumers adopting a lifestyle of health and sustainability has recently increased with the rise of trends in healthy living. The size of the organic agricultural product market has also increased given that these consumers prefer consuming environmentally friendly products that promote family health. However, awareness of organic agricultural products remains insufficient because of the characteristics of the Korean organic agriculture system, which only focuses on food safety inspection. The object of this research is to suggest a policy approach to increase understanding and to expand the purchasing of organic agricultural products by analyzing the influence of customer recognition of such products on their willingness to repurchase. Research design, data, and methodology - This study used binomial logistic regression analysis with the aim of explaining the effects of consumers' socio-demographic characteristics, their awareness of the equivalence arrangement for organic food and of the abolishment of low-pesticide agricultural product certification, and their viewing of negative broadcasts about organic agricultural products on their repurchase intention of such products. A questionnaire survey was conducted with 655 respondents who were in their 20s, lived either in Seoul or in its metropolitan area, and had purchased organic agricultural products. Result - From the results of the analysis, the majority of the respondents recognized organic agricultural products, but they found their prices to be expensive. The majority of the respondents were also aware of the certification system and the reliability of organic agricultural products. However, the results indicate that efforts need to be made to recover consumer trust as many respondents stated that their trust levels in these products were low. In general, those purchasing organic agricultural products were satisfied, but those answering "very satisfied" were not in the majority. Binomial logistic regression analysis results revealed that repurchase intention decreased as consumers viewed a greater number of negative broadcasts about these products. On the other hand, repurchase intention increased as they became more aware of the abolishment of low-pesticide certification. Repurchase intention also increased as income increased, as the number of family members decreased, and when a consumer was a member of a consumer organization. In addition, the older the consumers were who watched the TV programs, the smaller the number of family members that were aware of the abolishment of low-pesticide agricultural product certification and, the higher the income of the consumers aware of organic equivalence arrangement, the greater their repurchase intention. Conclusion - External stimuli, such as negative TV programs on organic agricultural products and the abolishment of the low-pesticide agricultural product certification, relevant social issues and systems, influence consumer repurchase intention. To that end, positive environmental and ecological broadcasting about organic agricultural products would contribute to an increase in purchasing. Additionally, this could be used for promotion and marketing plans as the results indicate that trust in organic agricultural products would cause a positive repurchasing effect.

  • Main aims of environment-friendly agriculture (EFA) are increasing functions for environmental conservation of agriculture and building consumer confidence for agricultural products safety. The low-pesticide certification will be abolished in 2016, and this will give rise to much confusion to low-pesticide certification producers. The non-pesticide agriculture doesn't mean organic farming, and the EFA standards of Korea don't match up to international standards to organic agriculture. The system improvement directions for EFA are to devide into two types of organic farming and EFA, and EFA includes non-pesticide and low-pesticide farming both. These types must have legal grounds respectively.

  • 현재까지 한국 벌화분 잔류농약 함량 조사는 벌이 농약에 노출된 정도를 파악하기 위한 목적으로 분석되어 왔고, 식품의 관점에서 벌화분의 잔류농약 함량 연구는 보고된 바 없었다. 본 연구는 화분가공품으로서 식용으로 판매되는 벌화분 제품의 잔류농약 함량 모니터링을 통해 한국에서 유통되는 벌화분에서 잔류농약이 얼마나 검출되는지를 파악하였다. 조사 결과 다양한 농약 성분들이 벌화분에 잔류되어 있었고, 그 중에서 Chlorfenvinphos, Chlorpyrifos 같이 식용작물에서 사용금지된 농약들이 포함되어 있었다. 벌의 활동범위는 식용작물에 국한되어 있지 않기 때문에, 식용작물에만 제한적 농약사용 등의 인위적 관리만으로는 식용 벌화분의 유해물질로부터 안전성을 확보하는 것이 불가능하다는 것을 파악할 수 있었다. 따라서, 식용 벌화분의 잔류농약 안전성에 대한 연구 및 기준 설정이 필요할 것으로 보인다. 또한, 벌화분 원료와 완제품의 성상적 차이가 미미하고 주로 완제품 형태로 유통된다는 것을 고려하였을 때, 원료에만 기준을 두어 잔류농약 검사를 하는 것이 아니라 벌화분의 완제품에서도 잔류농약 검사가 필요할 것으로 보인다.

델파이 기법을 통한 친환경 농산물 생산자 대상 농산물 이용 활성화 방안 연구 (Activation Plan for Utilizing Eco-Friendly Agricultural Products from Producers' Perspective through Delphi Technique)

  • We studied an activation plan for utilizing eco-friendly agricultural products from agricultural producers' perspective through delphi techniques. Certification types of eco-friendly agricultural products held by producers were low-pesticide 26.1%, no-pesticide 39.1% and organic 52.2%. The major problems in handling the eco-friendly agricultural products were as follows: 'consumer distrust', 'lack of reliable and continuous shipping quantity' and 'lack of storage facilities, such as cold storage'. The major benefits of direct transactions between producers of eco-friendly agricultural products and processed food manufacturers including HMR processing companies were 'obtaining fresh food ingredients for processing' and 'confidence-building and income stabilization'. Regarding requirements for cooperation of eco-friendly agricultural producers and processed food manufacturers including HMR processing companies, the most common answers was 'multi-year contract based on trust'. When asked about governmental support for efficient cooperation between eco-friendly agricultural producers and processed food manufacturers including HMR processing companies, the most common answer was 'supporting plan for small producers' and 'arrangement for appropriate potential consumers'.

유통 친환경 과실류와 과채류 중 농약잔류 실태조사 및 안전성 평가 (Monitoring and Risk Assessment of Pesticide Residues in Commercial Environment Friendly Fruits and Fruiting Vegetables)

  • 국내 유통 중인 친환경농산물 중 과채류와 과실류의 잔류농약 모니터링을 통해 친환경인증 농산물의 잔류농약 실태조사 및 안전성을 평가하기 위하여 서울을 포함한 전국 8개 도시 9개 지점의 대형마트와 친환경농산물 전문판매점에서 25종의 과채류와 과실류를 555점 채취한 후 acetamiprid를 포함한 245종 농약을 대상으로 GC-ECD/NPD와 HPLC-DAD/FLD를 이용한 다성분동시분석법으로 잔류농약을 분석하였으며, 분석결과 농약으로 추정되는 peak는 GC-MSD를 이용하여 재확인하였다. 잔류농약 분석결과 555점의 시료 중 사과를 포함한 4점의 시료에서 bifenthrin, EPN 및 chlorpyrifos가 검출되었으며, 검출율은 0.72%이었다. 농약이 검출된 4점의 시료 중 잔류량은 모두 잔류허용기준(maximum residue limit, MRL) 이내였으나 EPN이 검출된 배는 잔류량이 허용수준인 MRL의 1/20을 초과하였다. 일일최대섭취허용량(maximum permissible intake, MPI) 대비 일일섭취추정량(estimated daily intake, EDI)은 0.76% 미만이었다.

Development and validation of an analytical method for the quantification of 2,6-diisopropylnaphthalene in agricultural products using GC-MS/MS

  • An analytical method was developed and optimized for the quantification of a plant growth regulator, 2,6-diisopropylnaphthalene (2,6-DIPN), in agricultural products using gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. The samples were extracted, partitioned, and were purified using a Florisil® cartridge. To validate the analytical method, its specificity, linearity, limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) of the instrument, LOQ of the analytical method (MLOQ), accuracy, and repeatability were considered. The method displayed excellent results during validation, and is suitable for the determination and quantification of the low residual levels of the analyte in the agricultural samples. All of the results with the optimized method were satisfactory and within the criteria ranges requested in the Codex Alimentarius Commission guidelines and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety guidelines for pesticide residue analysis. The developed method is simple and accurate and can be used as a basis for safety management of 2,6-DIPN.

가락동 농수산물도매시장 반입 들깻잎과 상추의 잔류농약 실태 및 안전성 평가 (Pesticide Residues Survey and Safety Evaluation for Perilla Leaf & Lettuce on the Garak-dong Agricultural & Marine Products Market)

  • 2010년부터 2012년까지 서울 가락동 농수산물도매시장에서 경매되는 채소류 중 들깻잎 4,063건 상추 2,248건을 대상으로 잔류농약 검사를 실시하였다. 들깻잎은 812건에서 농약이 검출되었고 40건이 부적합판정을 받았다. 상추의 경우 108건에서 농약이 검출되었고 잔류허용기준을 초과한 상품은 10건이었다. 검출된 농약은 들깻잎 61종, 상추는 28종이었다. 들깻잎 및 상추 섭취에 따른 다종농약 성분에 대한 안전성 평가는 들깻잎이 0.05% 이하, 상추가 0,1% 이하로서 인체에 대한 위해성은 낮은 것으로 평가되었다.

농약사용 지표개발을 위한 과채류 농약사용실태 조사분석 (Survey on pesticide usage for the development of pesticide use indicator in fruit vegetables)

  • 농약사용과 관련하여 농산물의 안전성 확보 및 환경영향 감소를 위한 농약사용 지표 개발에 활용하고자 고추, 딸기, 수박, 오이, 참외, 토마토 등을 대상으로 재배면적별 30지역 200농가를 선정하여 국내과 채류 재배 환경 중 농약의 사용량을 조사 분석하였다. 과채류 재배시 용도별 농약 사용량은 살균제 > 살충제 > 제초제 순으로 많았으며, 살균제의 사용이 약 $70\sim80%$를 차지하였다. 살균제의 주요 사용농약은 mancozeb, thiophanate-methyl, propineb 이었으며, 살충제는 imidacloprid, milbemectin, methomyl 등이 많이 사용되었다. 농약제형별 농약사용량은 수화제, 유제 중심으로 사용하는 경향을 나타냈다. 한편 단위면적당 농약 사용량은 고추 노지재배 (13.2 a.i.kg/ha), 오이 노지재배 (12.4 a.i.kg/ha), 참외 노지재배 (11.2 a.i.kg/ha) 등에서 많은 농약을 사용하였으나, 수박 시설하우스재배 (1.2 a.i.kg/ha), 참외 시설하우스재배 (2.2 a.i.kg/ha), 딸기 노지재배 (2.8 a.i.kg/ha) 등에서는 매우 작은 양의 농약을 사용하였다. 따라서 농약사용에 대한 조사 및 분석을 지속적으로 수행하여 농약에 대한 위해성을 경감하고, 농업환경의 보존을 반영시키는 정책개발이 수반되어야 할 것이다.
