  • For action selection as well as learning, simple associations between stimulus and response have been employed in most of literatures. But, for a successful task accomplishment, it is required that an animat can learn and express behavioral sequences. In this paper, we propose a novel action-selection-mechanism to deal with sequential behaviors. For this, we define behavioral motivation as a primitive node for action selection, and then hierarchically construct a network with behavioral motivations. The vertical path of the network represents behavioral sequences. Here, such a tree for our proposed ASM can be newly generated and/or updated, whenever a new sequential behaviors is learned. To show the validity of our proposed ASM, three 2-D grid world simulations will be illustrated.

  • The importance of e-Learning, which supports to study anywhere and anytime, has been pointed out for improving education. There have been various research papers on e-Learning system for educations. Most of literatures have focused on guiding the student or measuring understanding their level etc. Design method of e-Learning system has not been discussed based on structure and analysis of the class. In this paper, scheme of the class is proposed by analyzing and structuring class, then design method of e-Learning system is discussed based on it.

  • In the control system analysis and synthesis, the nonminimum phase system has some difficulties due to the undershoot behaviour and the constrained sensitivity function. SISO problems has been widely investigated in the literatures, and it is well known that the undershoot cannot be eliminated by any linear feedback control. However, the undershoot compensation in MIMO system is less studied, and this paper is to deal with the zero property and the nonminimum phase behaviour of the MIMO system. Firstly, some definitions of the zeros will be introduced. Second, some systems including nonminimum phase transmission zeros are exemplified to show that the undershoot behaviour could be eliminated by a linear feedback in MIMO systems.

  • A convenient and efficient method has been developed for the one-pot synthesis of dihydropyrimidinones (DHPMs) compounds. Dihydropyrimidinone derivatives were synthesized in good yields using ethyl acetoacetate, aldehyde (aromatic and aliphatic) and urea or thiourea in the presence of ZnO nanoparticles as a catalyst in $H_2O$ as solvent at $80^{\circ}C$. This green chemistry procedure applied to the Biginelli reaction using ZnO nanoparticles as catalyst and illustrated as a rapid preparation of DHPMs in water as solvent. The products were identified by physical data (mp) by comparison with those reported in the literatures.

  • P-version finite element model for the computation of stress intensity factors in two dimensional cracked panels by J-integral method is presented. The proposed model is based on high order theory and hierarchical shape function. The displacements fields are defined by integrals of Legendre polynomials which can be classified into three part such as basic mode, side mode, integral mode. The stress intensity factors are computed by J-integral method. The example models for validating the proposed p-version model are centrally cracked panel, single and double edged crack in a rectangular panel under pure Mode I. And the analysis results are compared with those by the h-version of FEM and empirical solutions in literatures. Very good agreement with the existing solution are shown.

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to search acupuncture & moxibustion treatment on hemafecia. Methods : We search thirty-seven oriental medical literatures related to hemafecia and arrange the articles according to the etiological cause, pathogenesis, acupuncture & moxibustion treatment. Results : 1. Hemafecia is mainly caused by intrinsic factors such as inadequate diet, habitual drinking, indiscreet sex and others. 2. Hemafecia is mainly due to the intestinal febrile state, but sometimes due to the infirmity of whole body energy including digestive system. 3. Governor Vessel Meridian, Bladder Meridian, Spleen Meridian and Stomach Meridian are frequently used for acupuncture & moxibustion treatment on hemafecia. 4. B57, GV1 are most frequently used for acupuncture & moxibustion treatment on hemafecia. 5. CV12, CV6, S36 are most frequently used for moxibustion treatment on hemafecia. 6. Acupuncture points are mainly distributed throughout the low back, lower abdomen and lower limb.

  • In this paper we study generating and proving methods of symmetric inequalities. We analyze various literatures related with proofs of symmetric inequalities. As a result, we can describe generating method of symmetric inequalities, and suggest some symmetric inequalities that are generated by using parameterization to elementary symmetric polynomials. And we are able to classify some proving methods, and show proofs of symmetric inequalities.

  • The purpose of this study was to establish the effective model for community-centered youth development in Korea. The research methods used the extensive review of related literatures and consultation with a panel of experts in this field. Based on the major results, the implications and suggestions were as follows. First, community youth development will need to provide the opportunities of competencies and a full complement of positive connections to youth activities. Second, communities promote to engage youth as partners with adults in the process of positive youth development. Third, youth development organizations operate to support the programs to prevent or treat specific problems in terms of community youth contexts. Finally, collaboration and network are necessarily required among youth, adults, home, school, organizations within the community.

  • In this article, nonlinear finite element solutions of bending responses of functionally graded spherical panels are presented. The material properties of functionally graded material are graded in thickness direction according to a power-law distribution of volume fractions. A general nonlinear mathematical shallow shell model has been developed based on higher order shear deformation theory by taking the geometric nonlinearity in Green-Lagrange sense. The model is discretised using finite element steps and the governing equations are obtained through variational principle. The nonlinear responses are evaluated through a direct iterative method. The model is validated by comparing the responses with the available published literatures. The efficacy of present model has also been established by demonstrating a simulation based nonlinear model developed in ANSYS environment. The effects of power-law indices, support conditions and different geometrical parameters on bending behaviour of functionally graded shells are obtained and discussed in detail.
