그린팀버월 패널의 열전달 특성 (Heat transfer of green timber wall panels)

  • 20% of total energy use to sustain temperature of building inside. In this reasons, researchers effort to improve the thermal insulation capacity with new wall system. Using appropriate materials and consisting new wall system should considered in energy saving design. OSB(Oriented strand board), Larch lining board used to consist wall system. $2{\sim}6$ Larch lining board has tongue & groove shape for preventing moisture. Comparing with gypsum board and green timber lining board as interior sheathing material, temperature difference of Green timber wall system was bigger than temperature difference of gypsum board wall system. This aspects indicate that Green timber wall system was revealed higher thermal insulation property than gypsum board wall system. Gypsum board portion transfer heat easily because temperature difference gradient of gypsum board wall system was smaller than OSB wall system. Total temperature variation shape of G-4-S and G-6-S show similar model but, temperature variation shape in green timber wall portion assume a new aspect. The purpose of this study was that possibility of thermal insulation variation and new composition of wall system identify to improve thermal insulation performance. In the temperature case, this study shows possibility of improving thermal insulation performance. Humidity, sunshine and wind etc. should considered to determine building adiabatic properties.

구조물 경계조건에 따른 파형강판 터널라이닝의 풍하중에 대한 동적 거동분석 (Dynamic Behaviors of a Corrugated Steel Tunnel Lining System due to Wind Loads by Passing Vehicles according to the Boundary Conditions)

  • 본 연구에서는 터널 내 통과차량에 의하여 발생하는 풍하중으로 인한 터널라이닝의 동적거동에 대하여 분석하였다. 차량으로 인한 풍하중은 목표지점을 지나가는 차량에 대하여 압력과 팽창을 나타내는 시간함수를 이용하여 모형화 하였으며, 파형강판으로 이루어진 터널라이닝은 3차원 쉘 요소를 사용하였다. 쉘 요소로 모델링된 3차원 터널라이닝의 동적해석은 많은 양의 메모리와 시간이 요구되지만 파형강판의 동적특성을 반영하는 한편 최대한 단순화된 모형을 제시하여 해석에 이용하였다. 터널라이닝의 변위를 분석하기 위해 다양한 차량 주행 조건 및 맞바람 풍속이 고려되었다. 차량과 풍속이 증가하면 응답 또한 증가하였으며, 최대변위는 차량이 120km/h로 교차주행 시 25mm로 나타났다. 연속주행 시 응답에 미치는 영향은 단독주행 응답보다 2.5% 이내로 크지 않게 나타났다. 따라서 숏크리트가 적용되지 않는 독립구조체 터널라이닝의 경우동적거동은 반드시 고려해야하는 것으로 판단된다.

  • Thickness of concrete lining, voids at the back of lining or shotcrete are very important elements for inspecting the safety of tunnels. Therefore, the inspection of tunnel lining structure means to investigate the inner layer boundaries of the structure. For this purpose, seismic reflection survey is the most desirable method if it works in good conditions. However, the conventional seismic reflection method can not be properly used for investigating thin layers in the lining structure. In other words, to detect the inner boundaries, it is desirable for the wavelength of source to be less than the thickness of each layer and for the receiver to be capable of detecting high frequency(ultrasonic) signals. To this end, new appropriate source and receiver devices should be developed above all for the ultrasonic reflection survey. This paper deals primarily with the development of source and receiver devices which are essential parts of field measuring system. Interests are above all centered in both the radiation pattern, energy, frequency content of the source and the directional sensitivity of the receiver. With these newly devised ones, ultrasonic physical modeling has been performed on 3-D physical model composed of bakelite, water-proof and concrete, The measured seismograms showed a clear separation of wave arrivals reflected from each layer boundary. Furthermore, it is noteworthy that reflection events from the bottom of concrete below water-proof could be also observed. This result demonstrates the usefulness of the both devices that can be applied to benefit the ultrasonic reflection survey. Future research is being focus on dealing with at first an optimal configuration of source and receiver devices well coupled to tunnel wall, and further an efficient data control system of practical use.

  • Friction dampers are displacement dependent energy dissipation devices which dissipate earthquake energy through friction mechanism and widely used in improving the seismic behavior of new structures and rehabilitation of existing structures. In this paper, the cyclic behavior of a friction damper with different friction materials is investigated through experimental tests under cyclic loading. The damper is made of steel plates, friction pads, preloaded bolts and hard washers. The paper aims at investigating the hysteretic behavior of three friction materials under cyclic loading to be utilized in friction damper. The tested friction materials are: powder lining, super lining and metal lining. The experimental results are studied according to FEMA-356 acceptance criteria and the most appropriate friction material is selected by comparing all friction materials results.

  • The objective of this paper is to investigate the lining board's capacity by using the static loading test and fatigue test. Specimens that constitute the H & Channel type lining board are adopted. The test is to inspect the possibility of retrofit and efficiency, which is required to upgrade the structure's capacity and to examine the effects of the improvements of specimen by using structural analysis, stress analysis, static loading test and fatigue test, respectively. The accumulated test results of stress condition and deflection by bending will be used to analyze the relation between the cause of fatigue crack occurrence and the behavior of both structure system and the steel.

이음부 강성계수가 세그먼트 설계에 미치는 영향 (Influence of the joint stiffness on the segment design)

  • 쉴드 TBM 터널의 라이닝은 세그먼트로 구성되므로, 각각의 세그먼트가 서로 연결되면서 세그먼트 이음부를 발생시킨다. 세그먼트 이음부는 쉴드 TBM 설계에 있어 강성계수로 적용되어지는데, 세그먼트 이음부 강성계수는 그 결정 방법에 따라 결과 값이 현저한 차이를 보인다. 따라서 서로 다른 강성계수를 설계에 적용하였을 경우 그 결과가 어떻게 다른지에 대한 검토가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 세그먼트 이음부 강성계수를 이론식을 통해 결정한 후 일정한 범위를 선정하였다. 그 범위 내에서 강성계수를 변화해가며 터널 단면 수치해석을 실시하여 세그먼트 라이닝 부재력을 도출하였고, 이에 강도설계법을 적용하여 세그먼트 라이닝 안정성 검토를 실시하였다. 그 결과 세그먼트 이음부 강성계수는 세그먼트 라이닝 설계에 큰 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

1994년부터 2006년까지 한국 석면취급 사업장의 석면 노출농도 (Airborne Asbestos Fiber Concentration in Korean Asbestos-Related Industry from 1994 to 2006)

  • Objectives: This paper was prepapred to report airborne asbestos fiber concentrations in asbestos textile, brake-lining, commutator, and building materials manufacturing industries, and some other asbestos related industries in Korea from 1994 to 2006. Methods: Airborne asbestos data that have been sampled and analyzed in the above industries during 1994-2006 were collected. These data were reviewed to scrutinize the qualified data based on the records such as sampling and analyzed method and quality control procedures. All asbestos data were generated using the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH) Method 7400. Results: Average concentration of asbestos fiber was 2.14 fibers/cc(0.02-15.6 fibers/cc) in the asbestos textile industry, 0.26 fibers/cc(0.01-1.01 fibers/cc) in the building-materials industry, 0.15 fibers/cc(0.01-0.93 fibers/cc) in the brake-lining manufacturing industry, and 0.14 fibers/cc(0.03-1.36 fibers/cc) in the commutator producing industry. For these industries, the percentage of samples of which asbestos fiber concentrations above the limit of exposure(0.1 fibers/cc) was 97.6% in the asbestos textile industry, 62.3% in the building-materials industry, 53.5% in the brake-lining manufacturing industry, and 34.3% in the commutator producing industry. Asbestos fiber concentration was below the limit of exposure in the gasket producing, petrochemistry, musical instrument producing industries, and the brake-lining exchange operations. Conclusions: Airborne asbestos fiber level in the asbestos textile, brake-lining producing, commutator and building-material producing industries was above the limit of exposure, but in the gasket producing, petrochemistry, musical instrument producing industries and the brake-lining exchange operations were below the limit of exposure.

자동차용 브레이크 라이닝의 마찰특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the characteristics of friction in automotive brake lining)

  • This paper theoretically analyzed the relations between the out-put braking torque and the wheel cylinder pressure in the leading-trailing drum brake for heavy duty truck as the characteristics of friction in break lining, comparing with the results derived from full-scale inertial brake dynamometer test in actual braking condition to develop reliable brake system in extensive using conditions. The main results obtained are as follows; 1) The characteristic curve representing the relations between BEF (Brake Effectiveness Factor) and Friction coefficient derived from theoretical analysis are consistent with the experimental results of dynamometer test. 2) According to the results of dynamometer test, the friction coefficient of brake lining is subject to initial brake speed and the actual using temperature in brake system.

의복 안감의 역학적 특성 및 태 평가 (A Study on the Mechanical and Hand Properties of the Lining Fabrics)

  • This study is to evaluate the objective sensibility of the commercial lining fabrics. Five kinds of the linings were collected by adding taffetas with four kinds of fibers (polyester, nylon, rayon, and acetate) to one polyester stretch fabric. The six basic mechanical and hand properties were studied by using KES-FB system (Kawabata Evaluation System). The result of measuring the mechanical properties shows that polyester has high bending rigidity (B), that polyester-stretch has a high value of linearity of load-extension curve (LT), tensile energy (WT), tensile resilience (RT), and coefficient of friction (MIU) and a low value of bending rigidity(B), shear property, and geometrical roughness (SMD). The nylon has a high value of bending rigidity (B), shear property, and compression resilience (RC). The rayon has a high value of coefficient of friction (MIU) and linearity of compression-thickness curve (LC) and a low value of shear property, and the acetate has a low value of shear property. The result of hand value shows that polyester, nylon, and acetate are a high value of KOSHI (stiffness), NUMERI (smoothness), and FUKURAM (fullness & softness), and they feel stiff and massive, that rayon has a low value of NUMERI and FUKURAMI. The total result of hand value shows that polyester taffeta and polyester stretch fabric are about the same as the best material for the lining of a woman's dress for spring and summer, and the next thing is acetate, but nylon and rayon are somewhat inferior materials. This provides a fundamental data for the comfortable clothing production of a higher value-added product through the study on the mechanical and hand properties of the lining as well as the right side of fabrics.

지식기반형 TBM 터널 세그먼트 라이닝 설계 프로그램의 개발 및 적용 (Development and implementation of a knowledge based TBM tunnel segment lining design program)

  • 본 논문에서는 인공신경망 기술을 이용한 TBM 터널 세그먼트 라이닝의 설계 시스템 개발에 관한 내용을 다루었다. 먼저 개발 시스템에 대한 개념 및 개발 과정과 시스템을 구성하는 각 요소기술 및 개별 모듈 개발에 관한 내용을 기술하였다. 본 시스템의 요소기술인 ANN-기반의 세그먼트 라이닝 부재력 예측 시스템에 대해 그 개념과 ANN 학습과정 및 검증과정을 기술하였다. ANN-기반의 세그먼트 라이닝 부재력 예측은 유한요소해석을 토대로 구축한 DB를 ANN을 통해 일반화 한 후 개발된 엔진을 세부 모듈에 접목시켜 별도의 해석 없이 유사 단면 혹은 현장에 적용이 가능하도록 하였다. 또한 해석 대상 단면에 대하여 상용 유한요소해석 프로그램과 연계하여 해석 Input파일의 자동생성이 가능하도록 하였으며 유한요소해석 결과를 통한 단면 검토가 가능하도록 하였다.
