동시 소성된 저항/저온 동시 소성 세라믹(LTCC) 이중층의 캠버에 영향을 미치는 인자 (Factors Influencing the Camber of Cofired Resistor/Low Temperature Cofired Ceramics (LTCC) Bi-Layers)

  • The sintering shrinkage behaviors of low temperature cofired ceramics (LTCC) and resistors were compared using commercial LTCC and thick-film resistor pastes, and factors influencing the camber of cofired resistor/LTCC bi-layers were also investigated. The onset of sintering shrinkage of the resistor occurred earlier than that of LTCC in all resistors, but the end of sintering shrinkage of the resistor occurred earlier or later than that of LTCC depending on the composition of the resistor. The sintering shrinkage end temperature and the sintering shrinkage temperature interval of the resistor increased as the RuO2/glass volume ratio of the resistor increased. The camber of cofired resistor/LTCC bi-layers was obtained using three different methods, all of which showed nearly identical trends. The camber of cofired resistor/LTCC bi-layers was not affected by either the difference in linear shrinkage strain after sintering between LTCC and resistors or the similarity of sintering shrinkage temperature ranges of LTCC and resistors. However, it was strongly affected by the RuO2/glass volume ratio of the resistor. The content of Ag and Pd had no effect on the sintering shrinkage end temperature or sintering shrinkage temperature interval of the resistor, or on the camber of cofired resistor/LTCC bi-layers.

Cubic 비선형 저항에 의한 카오스 발진회로의 스펙트럼 (Spectrums of Chua's Oscillator Circuit with a Cubic Nonlinear Resistor)

  • This paper describes implementation and simulation of Chua's oscillator circuits with a cubic non-linear resistor. The two-terminal nonlinear resistor NR consists of one Op Amp two multipliers and five resistors. The Chua's oscillator circuit is implemented with analog electronic devices. Period-1 limit cycle period-2 limit cycle period-4 limit cycle and spiral attractor double-scroll attractor and 2-2 window are observed experimentally from the laboratory model and simulated by computer for the presented model. Comparing the result of experiments and simulations the spectrums are satisfied.

Low-Power and Wide-Input Range Voltage Controlled Linear Variable Resistor Using an FG-MOSFET and Its Application

  • In this paper, a voltage-controlled linear variable resistor (VCLVR) using a floating-gate MOS-FET (FG-MOSFET) is proposed. The proposed-circuit is the grounded VCLVR consists of only an ordinary MOSFET and an FG-MOSFET. The advantage of the proposed VCLVR are low-voltage and wide-input range. Next, as applications, a floating-node voltage controlled variable resistor and an operational transconductance amplifier using the proposed VCLVRs are proposed. The performance of the proposed circuits are characterized through HSPICE simulations with a standard 0.6 ${\mu}$m CMOS process. simulations of the proposed VCLVR demonstrate a resistance value of 40 k$\Omega$ to 338 k$\Omega$ and a THD of less than 1.1 %.

완전-차동 선형 OTA를 사용한 새로운 계측 증폭기 설계 (A Design of Novel Instrumentation Amplifier Using a Fully-Differential Linear OTA)

  • 저가, 광대역, 그리고 넓은 이득 제어 범위를 갖는 전자 계측 시스템을 실현하기 위한 완전-차동 선형(fully-differential linear operational transconductance amplifier : FLOTA)를 사용한 새로운 계측 증폭기(instrumentation amplifier : IA)를 설계하였다. 이 IA는 한 개의 FLOTA, 두 개의 저항 그리고 한 개의 연산 증폭기(operational amplifier : op-amp로 구성된다. 동작 원리는 FLOTA에 인가되는 두 입력 전압의 차가 각각 동일한 차동 전류로 변환되고 이 전류는 op-amp의 (+)단자의 저항기와 귀환 저항기를 통과시켜 단일 출력 전압을 구하는 것이다. 제안한 IA의 동작 원리를 확인하기 위해 FLOTA를 설계하였고 상용 op-amp LF356을 사용하여 IA를 구현하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 FLOTA를 사용한 전압-전류 특성은 ${\pm}3V$의 입력 선형 범위에서 0.1%의 선형오차와 2.1uA의 오프셋 전류를 갖고 있었다. IA는 1개의 저항기의 저항 값 변화로 -20dB~+60dB의 이득을 갖고 있으며, 60dB에 대한 -3dB 주파수는 10MHz이였다. 제안한 IA의 외부의 저항기의 정합이 필요 없고 다른 저항기로 오프셋을 조절할 수 있는 장점을 갖고 있다. 소비전력은 ${\pm}5V$ 공급전압에서 105mW이였다.

저항 네트워크 모델을 통한 LED 설계 (LED Design using Resistor Network Model)

  • A resistor network model for the horizontal AlInGaN LED was investigated, The parameters of the proposed model are extracted from the test dies and $350{\mu}m$ LED, The center of the P-area is the optimal position of a P-electrode by the simulation using the model. Also the optimal chip size of the LED for the new target current was investigated, Comparing the simulation and fabrication result, the errors for the forward voltage and the light power are average 0,02 V, 8 % respectively, So the proposed resistor network model with the linear forward voltage approximation and the exponential light power model are useful in the simulation for the horizontal AlInGaN LED.

The circuit consists of two capacitors, an inductor, a linear resistor, and a nonlinear resistor. In this paper, a transmitter and a receiver using two identical Chua's circuits are proposed and a synchronizations methods are investigated. Since the synchronization of the transmission system or nonidea system are impossible by coupled synchronization, the drive-response synchronization theory were used.

  • To use the EMTP, in this paper, a arcing horn is simulated by non-linear resistor and inductor element using TACS, a tower by distributed parameter model, and lines as K. C. Lee model. Changing lightning current characteristics, lightning position, and tower footing resistor value, we analysis multi-phase flashover characteristics in 765 kV transmission line.
