Nonlinear $H_2/H_\infty/LTR$ Control of the Parallel Flexible Inverted Pendulum Connected by a Spring (스프링 연결 병렬형 탄성 역진자의 비선형 $H_2/H_\infty/LTR$ 제어)

  • In this paper, a nonlinear $H_2/H_\infty/LTR$ control for the flexible inverted pendulum of a parallel type with Coulomb friction is presented. The dynamic equation for this system is derived by the Hamilton's principle and assumed-mode method. This hard nonlinear system can be modeled by a the quasi-linear state space model using the REF method. It is shown that the $H_2/H_\infty$ control can be applied to the nonlinear controller design of the system having Coulomb frictions if the proper LTR conditions are satisfied. In order to present the usefulness of the suggested control method, the nonlinear $H_2/H_\infty/LTR$ controller is designed to control the Position of the end point of the flexible inverted pendulum that has Coulomb frictions present in actuator parts. The results are given via computer simulations.

  • In this paper, We applied the $\mu$-stepping method on the Phase Excitation Sequence of Hybrid type LPM. Linear Pulse Motor can opeate in an open loop control as an effective positioning actuator. PWM driver was used for low power loss and automatically adjusted voltage at rate current. Finally we find that through the position-velocity for timing Triangular and Trapezoidal Profile are very affected by velocity and acceleration parameter.

  • This paper presents the development of system and program for a Parallel-Typed CNC Machine. The system consists of parallel manipulator, PC (Personal Computer), DMC (DSP Motion Controller), and machining tools. In order to control the manipulator, the program, which is implemented in "c/c++" language, involves inverse/direct kinematics, velocity mapping, Jacobian and etc. A controller computes the kinematic formulation in real-time and generates and motion by the DMC. A monitor, which has access to program and sensory information, displays the status of manipulator.nipulator.

  • After the micro turning lathe was developed in the last year by AMR Laboratory in Yeungnam university, a micromilling machine is developed for micro/meso machining. This machine is integrated with PZT-driven micro-sliders, micro-linear encoders, aerostatic spindle which has maximum 150,000 rpm. It is applicable to milling and drilling of micro scale. This paper presents the possibility of micro/meso machining and characteristics of micro end milling process by using micro machine. A machining of micro parts using 0.2 mm flat end mill was achieved by micro-milling machine. Experimental results show the machining capability and positional accuracy of this machine is good enough for machining micro parts.

  • This paper deals with the development of the PMSM(Permanent magnet synchronous motor) system for the electrical actuator, For the high control performance and reliability of PMSM, accurate information of rotor position is essential. Most of PMSM for the position control use the encoder or resolver for the information of rotor position. But these are very expensive. So, in this paper, using of the magnetic and linear hall-effect sensor is proposed. It can reduce the cost of motor systems and get the good performance of PMSM control.

  • This paper proposes the new method to calculate the static thrust and normal force of a hybrid type double-sided linear pulse motor by the coenergy which considered the magnetic nonlinealities. In the process of the computation, the nonlinear characteristics of the magnetic material were interpolated by the cubic spline method. And, to investigate the characteristics of the hybrid type DLPM, the static thrust and the normal force is shown as a function of displacement, input current and air airgap length. Also the simulation values are compared with the experimental ones obtained from a hybrid type DLPM.

  • In this paper, a moving iron core type LOA is designed and analyzed electro-magnetically and is applied to the active control of structural vibration as an active mass driver. Structural vibration is sensored by the accelerometer attached the structure and reduced by the optimally controlled motion of active mass of LOA giving anti-phase inertia farce to the structure. As a result, the basement of the application of LOA as an active mass driver is successfully established.

  • A main contribution of this paper is the development of a Hopfield network-based algorithm for the fault diagnosis of the actuators in linear system with uncertainties. An unknown input decoupling approach is introduced to the design of an adaptive observer so that the observer is insensitive to uncertainties. As a result, the output observation error equation does not depend on the effect of uncertainties. Simultaneous energy minimization by the Hopfield network is used to minimize the least mean square of errors of errors of estimates of output variables. The Hopfield network provides an estimate of the gains of the actuators. When the system dynamics changes, identified gains go through a transient period and this period is used to detect faults. The proposed scheme is demonstrated through its application to a simulated second-order system.

  • CAN통신은 자동차 내부 전자제어장치 간의 통신을 위하여 개발되었으며, CAN통신은 UART 방식과는 달리 전송속도와 안정성 측면에서도 뛰어나고 배선 결선에서도 간편한 버스타입으로 구성할 수 있어서 배선량을 줄일 수 있어 생산시간의 단축과 신뢰성을 높일 수 있다. 최근에는 자동제동장치, 선박의 엔진제어 등 다양한 분야에서 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 CAN통신을 기반으로 하여 3개의 리니어 액추에이터(Linear Actuator)를 통하여 수평 플랜트에 대한 수평제어를 구현하였다. 또한 본 논문의 수평제어시스템은 수평조절을 하는 액추에이터와 CAN통신을 내장한 AT90CAN128로 구성되어 있다. CAN통신을 기반의 수평제어를 통해 선박이나 자동차의 액추에이터를 조절하여 수평을 제어하고자 한다.
