  • Recently medical facilities that can help to heal the interpretation have evolved as a healing space. Accordingly, the patient's emotional, psychological and social ward plan to meet the needs of the patient to recover is important. The medical team is also related to the nature of human life, so they are experiencing high stress levels compared to other professionals. However, most places don't consider the user's psychological behavior. The purpose of this study is to build user-friendly lighting environment using LED lighting. LED lighting is easy to adjust illuminance and color temperature, and it is can be implemented in the medical area.

주택 조명환경의 실태 연구 (A Survey on Residential Lighting Environment)

  • The purpose of this survey is to find out the problems in lighting conditions of Korean residence and bring up the improvement direction. 120 households were chosen at random among independent house and apartment house in Taejon for this survey.The results are as follows; 1) The illumination of apartment houses are 2/3 of the recommended illuminalion and that of Independent houses are 1/2 of the recommended. Thus, apartment houses have better lighting condition. 2) 7he average illumination level is improving, but it still does not reach the recommended level. Therefore, the considerable plan to maintain proper lighting levels and suit to the 1;ghting purposes is required.

  • All passenger ships aboard more than 36 passengers are to be able to easily find escape routes when the escape way by fire with flame spread were onboard vessel (incl. Ferry, Passenger, Ro-pax, Inland Ferry) It should be impossible by ordinary emergency lights. The international Maritime Organization (IMO) gives special requirement for luminescent evaluation onboard test procedure and applicable location of low location lighting. In order to maintain the residual light source for a certain time in the low location lighting with a strip-shaped light source, the light source material must be sufficiently exposed to the light due to the proper placement of the escape route. The lighting arrangement influence how maintain low location lighting strip luminescent which measured onboard in connection with what elements are mainly sustain luminescent.

  • This study aims at developing the interior design method of Public Toilet in office building. There needs new concepts in Public Toilet where we felt dirty smelling and dismal in the past. And the behavior in the Public Toilet become various such as combing the hair making-up changing the clothes rinsing out mouth and so on. Nowadays The Public Toilet of office building shows indirectly the hierarchy and the management philosophy of its enterprise, This study treats with the design items such as unit space zoning plan lighting plan and air-conditioning plan and construction method of Public-Toilet in office building. As a result of this study the interior design methods of Public Toilet must reflect use of fitting material lighting plan user's needs and functional divide.(Powder Zone and Physiology Zone) These result will become basic data of future interior design in Public Toilet.

  • The emergency lighting plan for underground space should be done with consideration of characteristics of the space. Through the Space Syntax theory, it is possible to do quantitative analysis of the space. Integration and intelligibility are major index of this theory and we can use them as emergency lighting design parameters. For this study, human behaviors and survivor's evacuation routes in fire emergencies are analyzed through literature review. Based on those results, this study suggests the methodology of emergency lighting plan in underground space.

고령자의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 조명환경 디자인 연구 (Lighting Environment Design Research for Well-Being of Elderly People)

  • It is necessary to conduct a basic research on fusion of ighting design or lighting environment to improve the health and quality of life of elderly people. The purpose of this study is to analyze the lighting situation of elderly people 's residential facilities in terms of space environment design plan and to analyze the trends in smart home, design and technology. It is to provide basic data for the prototype of lighting fixtures for elderly people living facilities considering functional, physiological and emotional characteristics. For the study, the target sites were selected and the results of the illumination survey of the target facilities were divided into two types of spaces, residential and other public spaces, and their location, lighting fixtures' type, color temperature, illuminance. The results of the survey showed that the overall physical illumination compared to the recommended illuminance for the elderly satisfied the recommended range and provided the appropriate brightness for the elderly. However, in the application layout of the lighting fixtures, a monotonous arrangement and a lighting fixtures type consisting entirely of simple square type fixtures and downlight types were applied. It would be desirable to use different types of lighting fixtures in the design for various functions, such as making the environment more comfortable. Future research will propose a prototype for the design direction of the subdivided lighting fixtures that classify the space according to functions and understand the vision problem of the elderly while aesthetically.

  • Recently, rapid development of technique and change of lifestyle during nighttime has activated the urban outdoor lighting and renovated consideration of nightscape. As the interest of nightscape increases more widely, outdoor lighting has been installed more and more in the cities. Nightscape comes in diverse forms. So, there is no absolute standard for outdoor lighting. But only bright outdoor lighting is not necessarily a good nightscape. Installation lighting without master plan or excessive outdoor lighting may cause a inharmony. This study aims to analyze the luminous characteristics of facade in shopping complexes. For the purpose, four large-scale shopping complexes located in Dongdaemun area were selected. Building facade composition, outdoor lighting composition, and lighting equipment of each shopping complexes are surveyed, and luminance of building facade were measured with Prometric 1400. The result of the study are as follows; (1) Horizontally large-scale shopping complexes emphasize the building entrance and shape of the building at night by outdoor lighting. (2) Non cut-off luminaries installed in building entrance and shop front caused the potential of light pollution.

충주 호암공원 야간경관 조명실태 및 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Outdoor Lighting Plan at Hoam Park in Chungju)

  • As tourist and cultural city, Chungju city struggles to exploit the new tourism resources including lighting scenic spots. This study aims to analyze the present lighting situations and suggest the alternatives for improving outdoor lightings of Hoamji Park - one of the most famous landmark in Chungju city. For the purpose, field surveys and experiments were performed on selected settings. Illumination levels were measured to compare with the KS standard by using MINOLTA T-10 instruments and some findings were discussed. As a result, some alternatives to improve the park's night images including new lighting concept, lighting fixtures and installations were suggested.

  • In this paper, I try to measure the electrical characteristics of PV cell for lanterns with solar simulator and simulated with PC1D software. I keep my eye on the characteristics variation of PV cell as a temperature change. Therefore, I try to increase a temperature of controlled block from $10^{\circ}C$ to $50^{\circ}C$ while measuring the PV cell. As a result, A variation caused by voltage have an effect on the efficacy of PV cell. Hence, it is an important variable when a designer plan to make a solar cell for lanterns.
