기계적 학습의 알고리즘을 이용하여 아파트 공사에서 반복 공정의 효과 비교에 관한 연구 (Identifying the Effects of Repeated Tasks in an Apartment Construction Project Using Machine Learning Algorithm)

  • Learning effect is an observation that the more times a task is performed, the less time is required to produce the same amount of outcomes. The construction industry heavily relies on repeated tasks where the learning effect is an important measure to be used. However, most construction durations are calculated and applied in real projects without considering the learning effects in each of the repeated activities. This paper applied the learning effect to the repeated activities in a small sized apartment construction project. The result showed that there was about 10 percent of difference in duration (one approach of the total duration with learning effects in 41 days while the other without learning effect in 36.5 days). To make the comparison between the two approaches, a large number of BIM based computer simulations were generated and useful patterns were recognized using machine learning algorithm named Decision Tree (See5). Machine learning is a data-driven approach for pattern recognition based on observational evidence.

플립드러닝 성과를 예측하는 요인 규명 (Investigating Factors Affecting Flipped Learning Outcomes)

  • 본 연구는 플립드러닝 환경에서 학습성과를 높이기 위해 고려해야 할 지침을 얻고자, 플립드러닝 성과변인으로 수업흥미, 과학흥미, 학업성취도를 선정하였고, 이를 예측하는 요인으로 내재적 동기, 자기조절을 선정하여 이들의 예측력을 규명하였다. 이를 위해 2015학년도 1학기에 서울 지역의 A 중학교 1학년 학생 44명을 대상으로 약 5주 동안 과학수업에서 플립드러닝을 진행하였으며, 수업 종료 후 학습자의 설문을 수거하여 상관분석 및 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 플립드러닝 환경에서 내재적 동기는 수업흥미와 과학흥미를 유의하게 예측하였고, 자기조절은 학업성취도를 유의하게 예측하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 플립드러닝 환경에서 학습자의 학습성과를 높이기 위해서는 내재적 동기, 자기조절을 증진시키는 교수학습전략이 필요함을 시사한다.

Analysis of the difference between teaching & learning satisfaction and achievement of students financially supported and not supported by university

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there is a financial incentive effect by analyzing the difference of educational performance between the specialization department students who receive financial support and the students who do not receive support. This study collected survey data of 334 students including 290 students who were financially supported and 44 students who were not financially supported. Through the collected data, frequency analysis and descriptive statistics analysis were performed on the general characteristics of the subjects. T-test was conducted to analyze the difference of teaching & learning performance between students with financial support and those who did not, and then the difference analysis by grades was F-test. The average value of the subjects' teaching & learning satisfaction scores was 2.99, and the result was higher than that of the female students. The higher the age, the higher the grade, the higher the grade, the higher the financial support students were. The average of teaching & learning achievement composition items of the survey subjects was 2.27, and it was found that male students, older students, and students who received financial support had higher average of teaching & learning outcomes than students who did not receive financial support respectively. Students who receive financial support have higher teaching & learning satisfaction and outcomes than students who are not financially supported. The longer the period of financial support, the older the better, and the male students are more satisfied with the teaching & learning, the better the teaching & learning.

부모-자녀 간 대화 빈도 인식에 따른 진로개발역량, 학업적 특성 차이 (Career Developmental Competency and Academic Outcomes according to Parent-Adolescent Contact Frequency)

  • 본 연구에서는 초, 중, 고 학생의 부모-자녀 간 대화 빈도에 대한 인식 차이에 따른 차별적인 특징을 갖는 유형을 탐색하고, 탐색된 유형에 따라 초, 중, 고 학생의 진로개발역량과 학업적 특성에 차이가 있는지 검증하였다. 이를 위해 초·중등 진로 교육 현황조사(2018) 자료를 활용하였으며, 잠재프로파일분석 방법을 사용하였다. 분석 결과, 초, 중, 고 학생의 부모-자녀 간 대화 빈도에 대한 인식 차이는 초등학생 6개 잠재계층(자녀 학교생활 대화 상, 자녀 상-부모 학교 생활 대화 상, 자녀 하-부모 하, 자녀 상-부모 상, 자녀-부모 학교생활 대화 상, 자녀 하-부모 중), 중학생 6개 잠재계층(자녀 하-부모 하, 자녀 중-부모 중, 자녀 상-부모 하, 자녀 상-부모 중상, 자녀 하-부모 상, 자녀 최상-부모 최상), 고등학생 7개 잠재계층(자녀-부모 학교생활 대화 상, 자녀 상-부모 하, 자녀 중-부모 중, 자녀 중-부모 상, 자녀 하-부모 하, 자녀 상-부모 중상, 자녀 최상-부모 최상)이 존재하는 것으로 확인되었다. 그리고 초, 중, 고 모두 잠재계층에 따라 진로개발역량(자기이해와 사회성, 직업이해, 진로탐색, 진로설계와준비도)과 학업적 특성(자율적 학습 동기, 자기주도학습)에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 대체로 부모-자녀 모두 대화 빈도가 높다고 인식한 집단과 부모보다 자녀가 인식한 대화 빈도 수준이 높은 집단의 진로개발역량과 학업적 특성 점수가 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 초, 중, 고 학생은 부모와의 대화 빈도를 부모와 다르게 인식할 수 있으며, 이와 같은 인식의 차이가 진로개발역량과 학업적 특성에 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 시사한다.

간호시뮬레이션 학습에서 메타인지, 학습몰입 및 문제해결력 (Metacognition, Learning Flow and Problem Solving Ability in Nursing Simulation Learning)

  • Purpose: This study was done to investigate the relationship between metacognition, learning flow, and problem solving ability in simulation learning of nursing students and to identify the factors influencing problem solving ability. Methods: The study sample was 136 nursing students. Data were collected from September to November, 2012 using a structured questionnaire on metacognition, learning flow and problem solving ability. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation and stepwise multiple regression analysis were used with the SPSS win 20.0 program to analyze the data. Results: There were significant positive correlations between metacognition, learning flow and problem solving ability. Learning flow was a significant factor affecting problem solving ability. These variables accounted for 33% of variance. Conclusion: These results suggest that simulation learning has a positive effect on nursing students' learning outcomes.

A Study on Metaverse Learning Based on TPACK Framework

  • In the educational environment of the post-COVID-19 era, metaverse learning, which can improve the disadvantages of online learning and improve learning outcomes, is attracting attention. Metaverse is expected to play an important role as a learning experience platform (LXP) that can provide immersion and experience for learners. In order to successfully introduce and utilize metaverse learning that utilizes the metaverse platform, teachers' knowledge of metaverse-related technologies and pedagogical convergence is important. So far, teacher knowledge for educational use of the metaverse has not been explored. In this regard, this study explored the TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical And Content Knowledge) framework as a teacher's knowledge system for metaverse learning. Based on this, this study designed the class contents of metaverse learning. The results of this study are expected to diffuse the importance of TPACK required for metaverse learning and contribute to the development of teachers' competence.

중국 MOOC 학습성과에 영향을 미치는 요인 간의 구조적 관계 규명 (Structural Relationships of Factors Affecting Learning Outcomes in China-MOOC)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationship among factors affecting learning engagement, satisfaction, continuance intention in China-MOOC. For this study, data were collected from 334 students who were taking MOOC classes. and structural equation model ling analyses were employed to examine the causal relationships among variables. From the results of this study, First, self-regulated learning and interaction significantly affected learning engagement. Second, interaction had direct effects on satisfaction. Third, satisfaction significantly affect continuance intention. Furthermore, satisfaction mediated relationships between interaction and continuance intention. These results imply that self-regulated learning, interaction, learning engagement should be considered for designing and implementing China-MOOC learning. Further implication are discussed in the study.

The Applicability and Effects of Flipped Learning on 'Public Health Nursing' Courses

  • Purpose: Flipped learning is a novel teaching strategy for encouraging students to engage in the learning process. This study aimed to redesign the public health nursing course and examine the implications of flipped learning on learning outcomes, self-efficacy, and self-leadership in undergraduate programs. Methods: A one-group, pretest-posttest design was used. A total of 80 students participated in this study. The flipped learning method was employed between April 14 and June 5, 2016. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and an independent t-test. Results: The self-efficacy of the lower 25% group based on academic performance was significantly increased; however, self-leadership did not show any change after utilizing flipped learning. Overall, 65.4% of the students were satisfied with their class. Conclusion: Flipped learning was an effective strategy for students with low achievement. Despite these advantages, it was considered to reduce the burden of studying.

  • This paper presents the results of a statistical analysis and its research findings focusing on the learning aspect in the process of international joint ventures (IJVs). The contents of this paper is derived from a sample of 96 field cases based on a proposed conceptual model of effective learning for international construction joint ventures (ICJVs). The paper presents a brief review on the conceptual model with hypotheses and summarized the key results of statistical analysis including factor and multiple regression analysis for the testing of the validity of the proposed conceptual model and its associated research hypotheses. Among other research findings, the research confirms that ICJVs provides an excellent platform of in-action learning for construction organization and suggests that good outcomes in learning could be reaped by a company who has a clear learning intent from the beginning and subsequently take corresponding learning actions during the full process of the joint venture.

  • The current study investigated meaning of Jigsaw model application in teaching and learning mathematics based on the literature research and analysis of Jigsaw models. Through related literature, properties of the tasks of the expert sheets in mathematics are examined. Then the advantages of the application of Jigsaw in mathematics are discussed in terms of the realizing mathematical connections and promoting positive affective outcomes of Korean students in mathematics.
