열린수학교육의 방향 탐색 (Searching for the Directions of Open Mathematics Education)

  • This study aims to reflect the origin and the meaning of open education and to derive pedagogical principles for open mathematics education. Open education originates from Socrates who was the founder of discovery learning and has been developed by Locke, Rousseau, Froebel, Montessori, Dewey, Piaget, and so on. Thus open education is based on Humanism and Piaget's psychology. The aim of open education consists in developing potentials of children. The characteristics of open education can be summarized as follows: open curriculum, individualized instruction, diverse group organization and various instruction models, rich educational environment, and cooperative interaction based on open human relations. After considering the aims and the characteristics of open education, this study tries to suggest the aims and the directions for open mathematics education according to the philosophy of open education. The aim of open mathematics education is to develop mathematical potentials of children and to foster their mathematical appreciative view. In order to realize the aim, this study suggests five pedagogical principles. Firstly, the mathematical knowledge of children should be integrated by structurizing. Secondly, exploration activities for all kinds of real and concrete situations should be starting points of mathematics learning for the children. Thirdly, open-ended problem approach can facilitate children's diverse ways of thinking. Fourthly, the mathematics educators should emphasize the social interaction through small-group cooperation. Finally, rich educational environment should be provided by offering concrete and diverse material. In order to make open mathematics education effective, some considerations are required in terms of open mathematics curriculum, integrated construction of textbooks, autonomy of teachers and inquiry into children's mathematical capability.

한국의 여행지리와 중국의 관광지리 교육과정 비교 (A Comparative Analysis on High School's National Travel Geography Curriculum in Korea and China)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 2015 개정 교육과정에서 고등학교 진로 선택 과목으로 신설된 여행지리와 중국의 관광지리 교육과정의 비교, 분석이다. 여행지리는 지리교과의 핵심개념을 바탕으로 과목의 목표와 내용체계 및 성취기준 등을 교육과정으로 구성하고 있다. 그리고 여행이라는 주제와 형식으로 교실 수업에서 지리교과의 유용성, 흥미, 공감능력을 높일 수 있도록 교육과정이 개발되었다. 연구의 주요 내용은 양국의 고등학교 지리교육과정을 토대로 여행지리와 관광지리 과목의 성격, 목표, 내용체계, 교수-학습 방법과 평가 등에서 나타나는 공통점과 차이점에 대한 비교, 분석이다. 본 연구의 내용은 우리나라 여행지리 교과서의 편찬과 성공적인 교실 수업 실행에 구체적인 시사점이 될 것이다.

마을평생교육리더 양성과정 참여자의 프로그램 만족도 (A Study on Program Satisfaction of Participants in the Leader Course of Village Lifelong Learning)

  • This study is the purpose to analyze the satisfaction of training course for the village lifelong education leader who will act as the village lifelong education leaders in the future. The data were collected from 197 the participants who have learned the training course for village lifelong education leaders among 7 local governments. The collected questionnaires were statistically treated by using SPSS (Version 17.0) program and frequency, T-test, and ANOVA. The major findings of this study were as follow; 1) the satisfaction of women's learners to the training course of village lifelong education leaders is high. 2) the satisfaction of low ages to training course for village lifelong education leaders is high. 3) the satisfaction of high educational background learners to training course for village lifelong education leaders is high. 4) the satisfaction of high income background learners to training course for village lifelong education leaders is high. 5) the satisfaction of much learning experience learners to lifelong education is high. 6) the highest among the satisfaction level of the program participants for village lifelong education is the staff service of lifelong education organization.

자연수의 이진체계 교육자료 개발에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Development of the Educational Contents for the Natural Number Binary System)

  • 컴퓨터과학의 원리를 교육하기 위한 도구로서 언플러그드 교육은 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 초등학교에서 이진법에 대한 사전학습이 이루어져 있지 않은 학생들을 대상으로 자연수를 이진체계로 표현하는 교육자료 개발에 대해 제시하였다. 사전학습 수준은 수를 세기, 수와 카드를 연결하기, 수를 배열하기가 요구된다. 학습방법은 활동중심학습으로 구성하였으며, 학습내용은 생활 속의 수를 컴퓨터에서 사용하는 방법을 이해하도록 자연수를 이진체계로 표현하기, 생활 속의 이진체계 찾아보기 등이다. 개발된 자료의 적합성 평가를 위하여 교육내용 구성과 평가의 방법에 대하여 현장적용을 하였으며, 자연수의 이진체계 표현에 대한 지식과 태도, 일반화에 효과적인 것으로 평가되었다.

GSP를 활용한 삼각함수에서 학습부진아의 수학화 과정에 관한 사례연구 (A Case Study on Slow Learners' Mathematization of Trigonometric Functions, Using GSP)

  • This research was to help slow learners to be motivated and to make their outcome productive, using GSP based on the mathematization theory for learning mathematics, as a way of encouraging the learner-centered approach. With 2 of the second graders in a high school, who had not yet understood trigonometric functions in their first grade period, 7 units of lesson plans were designed for the research. The results showed that first, understanding real life contexts and analyzing properties by observation, and experiment using GSP, to build the concept of trigonometric functions could be a foothold on which learner's organization and outcome from a horizontal mathematization led to vertical mathematization. Despite the delay during the level-up-stage for a while, the learners could attain the vertical mathematization stage and moreover the applicative mathematization through effective use of GSP and the interaction between the learners or a teacher and the learners. Second, using GSP was a vertical tool of connecting horizontal mathematization with vertical mathematization in forming the concept of trigonometric functions and its meaning could be understood by their verbalizing and presenting the outcomes through their active performance. Using GSP is helpful for slow learners to overcome learning difficulties, based on the instructional materials designed by Realistic Mathematics Education.

초등 수학 전자 교과서의 구성 및 개발 전략 (A Study on the Organization and Development Strategy of Electronic Textbooks in Elementary School Mathematics)

  • 단계형, 수준별 교육과정의 효율적인 운영을 위해서는 개별화 학습이 가능하도록 자기 주도적 학습 시스템이 구축되어야 한다, 이러한 시스템 구축을 통한 교육과정의 효과적 운영과 교수-학습의 질적 향상을 도모할 수 있는 방안의 하나로 초등수학 전자 교과서 개발은 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 본 연구에서는 초등 수학 전자 교과서의 구성 및 개발 전략에 대한 기본 방향을 설정하고, 이러한 기본 방향에 기초하여 유사 자료 사례 분석, 내용 분석, 기능 분석을 통해 종합적인 초등 수학 전자 교과서의 구성 모델을 제시하였다. 또한 실제적인 개발 전략의 일환으로 단계적 개발 모형과 컨텐트 확보 방안도 함께 제시하였다.

과학수업에서 Thinking Maps의 효과적인 활용 방안 (Effective Educational Use of Thinking Maps in Science Instruction)

  • The purpose of this study is finding examine the Thinking Maps and how to use Thinking Maps effectively in Science Education. The result of this study were as follows: First, There are 8 type Maps, Circle Map, Tree Maps, Bubble Map, Double Bubble Map, Flow Map, Multi Flow Map, Brace Map, Bridge Map. Each Maps are useful in the following activities ; Circle Map-Express their thoughts. Tree Map-Activities as like determine the structure, classification, information organization. Bubble Maps-Construction. Double Bubble Map-Comparison of similarities and differences. Flow Map-Set goals, determine the result of changes in time or place. Multi Flow Map-Analysis cause and effect, expectation and reasoning. Brace Map-Analysis whole and part. Bridge Map-Activities need analogies. Second, each element of inquiry has 1~2 appropriate type of Thinking Maps. So student can choose the desired map. Third, the result of analysing of Science Curriculum Subjects, depending on the subject variety maps can be used. Therefore the Thinking Maps can be used for a variety on activities and subject. And student can be selected according to their learning style. So Thinking Maps are effective to improve student's Self-Directed Learning.

간호 시뮬레이션 교육에서의 심리적 안전(psychological safety)에 관한 개념분석 (Psychological Safety in Nursing Simulation Education: A Concept Analysis)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호 시뮬레이션 교육에 있어 심리적 안전 개념의 명확한 속성을 규명하고 파악하여 다양한 시뮬레이션 교육에서 간호학생의 심리적 안전을 향상시킬 수 있는 교육환경 조성에 기여하고자 함이다. Walker와 Avant (2010)의 개념분석 단계를 사용하여 15개의 심리적 안전과 관련된 문헌을 선정하여 분석하였다. 간호 시뮬레이션 교육에서 심리적 안전의 속성으로는 다음 4가지가 도출되었다: 1) 편안한 느낌이나 상태; 2) 두려움 없이 행동할 수 있는 상태; 3) 조직에 대하여 신뢰할 수 있는 느낌; 그리고 4) 자신에게 무해하다는 느낌. 본 연구를 통하여 밝혀진 선행요인, 속성, 결과 등을 고려하여 심리적 안전을 보장하도록 하는 학습환경을 조성한다면 시뮬레이션 교육의 학습효과를 극대화할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

코로나19 시대의 보육환경 내 영유아의 사회적 경험 (Young Children's Social Experiences Within Child Care Centers During COVID-19)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to examine young children's social experiences during COVID-19. In this study, social experiences are defined as children's social interactions and relationships, their educational experiences, and their daily life experiences in child care centers. Methods: Participants include nine child care teachers and fifteen young children. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with individual teachers, interviews with young children, and small group storytelling activities with young children. Results: The main findings in exploring meanings and implications of childcare consulting were as follows. First, childcare consulting was recognized as a process of learning about changes through mutual relationships. Second, the different ways to practice childcare consulting, the formation of the learning culture of an organization to help experience collective intelligence, the process of finding various solutions through mutual communication, and the improvement of childcare teachers' professional capabilities while reflecting the current times and context were all investigated. Conclusion/Implications: Given the findings of the study, the importance of childcare consulting, and the ways to establish its systems were discussed.

기계학습방법을 활용한 대형 집단급식소의 식수 예측: S시청 구내직원식당의 실데이터를 기반으로 (Predicting the Number of People for Meals of an Institutional Foodservice by Applying Machine Learning Methods: S City Hall Case)

  • Predicting the number of meals in a foodservice organization is an important decision-making process that is essential for successful food production, such as reducing the amount of residue, preventing menu quality deterioration, and preventing rising costs. Compared to other demand forecasts, the menu of dietary personnel includes diverse menus, and various dietary supplements include a range of side dishes. In addition to the menus, diverse subjects for prediction are very difficult problems. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to establish a method for predicting the number of meals including predictive modeling and considering various factors in addition to menus which are actually used in the field. For this purpose, 63 variables in eight categories such as the daily available number of people for the meals, the number of people in the time series, daily menu details, weekdays or seasons, days before or after holidays, weather and temperature, holidays or year-end, and events were identified as decision variables. An ensemble model using six prediction models was then constructed to predict the number of meals. As a result, the prediction error rate was reduced from 10%~11% to approximately 6~7%, which was expected to reduce the residual amount by approximately 40%.
