The survey was conducted from March 15 to March 27, 1993 and the collected date were analized by T-test and F-test. The results of this study are as followings : 1. In the 12 domains, respondents indicated high degree of learning desire in 'human & sex', 'nutrition' and 'disease of adult' in that order. However 'accident & disaster', 'transport & management' and 'nursing' were not highly ranked. 2. In the 55 questions, respondents showed high degree of learning desire in 'artificial respiration' & 'cardiopulmonary resuscitation', 'precautionary of adult disease' and 'sex & sex moral' in that order, but low degree of learning desire in 'the management of many wounded persons' and the 'synopsis of nursing'. 3. Comparing the degree of learning desire by grade, the 1st, the 3rd and the End grade were ranked in that order. The 1st and 3rd graders showed higher degree of learning desire in 'human & sex', and the 2nd graders in 'nutrition'. 4. Also, female students showed higher degree of learning desire than male students in general. Female students indicated it in 'nutrition', 'human & sex' and 'adult disease' in that order while male students in 'human & sex', 'adult disease' and 'nutrition' in that order. 5. The academic high school students showed higher degree of learning desire than the vocational high school students. • The recent entry into information society as well as the development and universalization of the Internet through rapid development of ICT technology produced a new educational method called PMP learning. PMP learning overcomes restrictions of previous education methods in terms of time and space and allows the learners to customize their learning environments according to their leads, providing voluntary education that centers on the learners. This study aims to verify the causal relationship in academic achievement of PMP learners through the theory of basic psychological desire, learning satisfaction, and learning metastasis. In order to accomplish this, a study model which applies perceived autonomy, perceived competence, and perceived relationship, which are major variables of the theory of basic psychological desire, was presented. For practical verification of the study model, survey analysis was conducted for students of R High School in Hamyang. Through this, the study aims to provide basic materials for improving the academic achievement of learners in PMP learning. It also plans to suggest educational effects that can be obtained by supporting intrinsic motivation of learners.

  • Nowadays the number of students that is losing their interest as well as learning desire in mathematics is increasing because of lack of logical thought creative power and abstract expression that present-day mathematics requires by reason of discrepancy of extreme scholastic ability by speciality of mathematics. In these conditions, we reduce the number of learning depression by bringing about learning desire or learning interest on mathematics, and students learn effective learning methods to be voluntary learning of discovery themselves that studies basic concepts, principles, rules through logical thought of students to solve difference of scholastic ability, thus we assumed that debate studies through small group activities in ability group would be one of ways to improve learning power, so the results of our research are as follows; 1. Debate studies through small group activities were very effective because of reinforcing the achivement level of students. 2. By this learning method, an individual or cooperrative learning was fostered, and lively discussions were accomplished. And learning attitudes of students were changed by the extension of cooperative learning abilities through advices or by themselves. 3. A personal opinion is payed regard by accepting an individual idea in the process of making questions. Learners can correct wrong concepts in the process of correcting wrong answers. So if we apply above-mentioned studies with easy contents from the lower grades, the effectiveness would increase as learners go to the higher grade. According to the results of various researches as follows; "The teaching-learning method oriented coopperative debate studies is effective to find solutions to mathematical problems." If small group activities are applied in the educational situation to search the course of a desirable cooperation learning through small group activities to improve scholastic abilities for a discoverable problem-solving power. I think that the teaching-learning method oriented cooperative debate studies is one of the most desirable methods to increase the problem-solving ability.

The data is categorized by open coding, axial coding and selective coding based on data analysis method of grounded theory and analysis processes. This study provides several outcomes as follows: 113 concepts, 38 subcategories and 16 upper categories are derived through the process of abbreviation and categorization of learning experience of Humanities & General Education. In a process of learning experience, this study shows interrelationship in a frame of paradigm and derives results of a process of abbreviation and categorization casual condition, contextual condition, phenomenon and interaction(help/obstruction factor). Tree types of learning experiences and characteristics are drawn as follows: 1) "Self-realization" is the type who participate in Humanities & General Education with desire of learning and they want to find identity and plan detailed future. 2) "The pursuit of happiness" has less desire on learning than "self-realization" and they are types who participate in Humanities & General Education because of someone else's help and suggestion. 3) "Local community" is the type who participate in Humanities & General Education because they feel necessity of social role and they expect local development based on their interest in local community. Several conclusions and suggestions are provided for further studies.

As a result, it was found rural elderly people showed a high desire for local community services such as health, transportation and economy activity. In addition, they were mainly cultivating farm products as their economic activity and showed a high demand in the future as well. Most were found to take a walk in the healthcare field and showed a high demand for health examinations, health education, health consulting, hot spring bathing and basking in the woods. Respecting learning, social and leisure activities, they were mostly found to watch TV and do house chores, and showed a high desire for village environment repair, traditional farm music, visiting and tourism. • The purposes of the study were to investigate the participation of artists in paper circuit computing learning and to conduct an in-depth study on the formation and development of practical knowledge. To do this, we selected as research participants six artists who participated in the learning program of an art museum, and used various methods such as pre-open questionnaires, participation observation, and individual interviews to collect data. The collected data were analyzed based on community of practice theory. Results showed that the artists participated in the learning based on a desire to use new technology or find a new work production method for interacting with their audiences. In addition, the artists actively formed practical knowledge in the curriculum and tried to apply paper circuit computing to their works. To continuously develop the research, participants formed a study group or set up a practical goal through planned exhibitions. The results of this study can provide implications for practical approaches to, and utilization of, paper circuit computing.
