Today's dynamic competitiveness requires an organization to improve its performance measurement and management. Quality Management Systems (QMS) abound, the main ones being: ISO series, Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award (MBNQA), European Forum for Quality Management (EFQM), Six Sigma Business Scorecard and the Balanced Scorecard. Based on the literature, the IPMMM (Integrated Performance Measurement and Management Model) identified 7 key synthesized factors: leadership, strategy management and policy, customer and market, learning and growth, partnership and resources, internal processes and business results that are employed to investigate the key performance indicators of a car assembler using the Delphi methodology. In the 2 rounds of Delphi panels consisting of 20 senior management personnel, the $1^{st}$ round of 198 indicators in the IPMMM yielded 90 indicators. The $2^{nd}$ round yielded 43 performance indicators with 18 rated as critical based on the % assigned in the $1^{st}$ and $2^{nd}$ priority rating of "very important factor" and "key performance indicator" that must be ranked high on both of the priorities. The very critical indicators appeared to be: defect percentage and first time capability (tie in $1^{st}$ place) and revenue, goal setting, customer satisfaction index, on-time delivery, brand image, return on investment, Claim Occurrence Ratio, and debt being ranked from $3^{rd}$ to $10^{th}$. It can be surmised that an organization can identify and develop an appropriate set of performance indicators through the Delphi methodology and implement and manage them based on the Balanced Scorecard.
To effectively maintain manufacturing collaboration, the development of effective performance measurements for the collaboration is required. Most existing key performance indicators however were developed to measure the performances of internal activities or outsourcing of a company. For that reason, it is necessary to devise new key performance indicators that the partners participating in the collaboration can arrange and compromise with each other to reflect their common goals. In this paper, we propose collaborative Key Performance Indicators(cKPIs), which is used to measure the collaboration work of multiple manufacturing partners on the basis of the Supply Chain Operations Reference(SCOR) model. Also, a modified Sigmoid function is devised as a desirability function to reflect the characteristics of Service Level Agreement(SLA) between two partners. The proposed indicators and the desirability functions can be utilized to perform and maintain the successful collaboration by providing a way to the quantitative measurement.

This review presents a series of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to assist Asian smallholder dairy farmers in identifying the possible causes for their poor farm performance and profitability. When assessing farm profitability, these indicators can be split into two types, those diagnosing problems with feeding management and those indicating poor herd management. As home grown forage is generally cheaper to source than purchased forage, the more produced on farm, the better. Too many stock on limited land is a common feature on Asian dairy small holdings. Unlike other classes of livestock, milking cows have very high nutrient requirements, therefore high quality forages and concentrates are essential for profitable dairying. Milk income less feed cost is one of the simplest and easy to measure indicators of farm profitability and is also quick to respond to small changes in farm practices. Problems with herd management can be diagnosed using measures such as the proportion of cows actually milking in the herd or their peak yield and persistency of production. There are also simple indicators of herd reproductive performance and of health and growth of young stock that assist in searching for the underlying causes of poor farm profitability.

While many previous studies investigated the effect of operations performance on financial performance, most studies considered only a few performance indicators and ignored the characteristics of industries. Therefore, this study intends to analyze the effect of operations performance on financial performance, by selecting a rather comprehensive operations performance indicators from firms' financial data. In doing so, we used operating efficiency and supply chain performance indicators for operations performance and a firm's profitability and future value indicators for financial performance. For the analysis, we collected 544 firms' operations and financial performance data belonging to eight key industries from the 'Forbes Global 2000'. We first analysed the differences in operations and financial performance among high, medium and low supply chain performance groups based on the quantitative criteria of Gartner's 'Supply Chain Top 25' ranking procedure. Then we analysed the effect of operations performance indicators on financial performance for both entire industry and individual industries, using multiple regression. Based on the results, we provided practical insights into key operations performance indicators to focus on and manage in order to improve financial performance.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop effective management indicators for improving efficiencies of visiting nursing centers. Method: This was a methodological research study to develop the key performance indicators based on balanced score cards for long-term care visiting nursing centers. The main methods used in this study were literature review, focus group interview, and content validity index. The data analysis was used frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Results: The common vision of the long-term care visiting nursing centers was identified as "The healthy visiting nursing center to serve high quality cares." Eight action strategies and 15 key performance indicators to achieve this vision were developed. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, we suggest that the developed balanced score cards will be used as an effective managerial guideline to improve performances of long-term care visiting nursing centers.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the current status and investigate relevant indicators so that R&D performance evaluation suitable for government-funded research institutes can proceed. A suitable performance evaluation model was presented based on the surveyed indicators. Based on the presented performance evaluation model, the importance was analyzed to calculate the weight for each indicator of the performance evaluation model. Methods: The method applied in this study presented a performance evaluation model based on the organizational performance evaluation cases of advanced overseas countries. By using the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) technique, the weight of each indicator of the performance evaluation model was studied. Results: As a result of examining the indicators necessary for the evaluation model, focusing on overseas cases, 13 evaluation items were derived. A weight was calculated for the importance of the study results. And the scientific/technical research results showed the highest excellence. Conclusion: Key indicators of performance evaluation suitable for government-funded research institutes were derived and presented through detailed modeling in three stages. Accurate prediction of critical illness is significant for ensuring the lives and health of patients. The selection of indicators affects the real-time capability and accuracy of the prediction for critical illness. However, the diversity and complexity of these indicators make it difficult to find potential connections between them and critical illnesses. For the first time, this study proposes an indicator analysis model to extract key indicators from the preoperative and intraoperative clinical indicators and laboratory results of critical illnesses. In this study, preoperative and intraoperative data of heart failure and respiratory failure are used to verify the model. The proposed model processes the datum and extracts key indicators through four parts. To test the effectiveness of the proposed model, the key indicators are used to predict the two critical illnesses. The classifiers used in the prediction are light gradient boosting machine (LightGBM) and eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost). The predictive performance using key indicators is better than that using all indicators. In the prediction of heart failure, LightGBM and XGBoost have sensitivities of 0.889 and 0.892, and specificities of 0.939 and 0.937, respectively. For respiratory failure, LightGBM and XGBoost have sensitivities of 0.709 and 0.689, and specificity of 0.936 and 0.940, respectively. The proposed model can effectively analyze the correlation between indicators and postoperative critical illness. The analytical results make it possible to find the key indicators for postoperative critical illnesses. This model is meaningful to assist doctors in extracting key indicators in time and improving the reliability and efficiency of prediction.
