6시그마 성공요인이 직무만족과 품질성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Success Factors of Six Sigma on Job Satisfaction and Quality Performance)

  • This study is an empirical study on the relationships among success factors of six sigma(support of top management, education and training, performance-based reward, customer and quality focused thought), job satisfaction, and quality performance. In particular, mediating effect of job satisfaction on the relationship between success factors of six sigma and quality performance is empirically analysed to find causes and impacts among these variables. A survey was conducted on the employees working in 'H' company which is applying six sigma at Ulsan City. The survey questionnaires were sent to 300 people and 216 of them were returned. Data obtained was analyzed with SPSS 18.0. The study results are as follows: First, there were positive relationships between critical success factors of six sigma(except support of top management) and job satisfaction. Second, there was also a positive relationship between job satisfaction and quality performance. Third, there were also positive relationships between critical success factors of six sigma(except support of top management) and quality performance. Finally, job satisfaction were full mediating effects on the relationship between critical success factors of six sigma(education and training, performance-based reward) and quality performance. Critical success factors of six sigma(customer and quality focused thought) had a partial mediating effect on quality performance. On the other hand, support of top management had no mediating effect on quality performance.

Effects of CRM Success Factors on Job & Customer Performance in Banking Sectors: Focused on the Mediating Effect of Internal Member Satisfaction

  • Purpose - This study examined the effects of CRM success factors on business performance and customer performance, and the effects on job performance and customer performance through internal member satisfaction by considering of technology, organizational environment and customer relationship factors in CRM success factors from banking sectors. Research design, data, and methodology - An online questionnaire was conducted to 251 employees in banking sectors. The data were analyzed by SPSS 22.0 and Amos 21.0. CRM success factors, internal member satisfaction, job performance, and customer performance were analyzed by descriptive statistics and Pearson's correlation analysis. The bootstrapping in structural equations was conducted to verify the mediating effect of internal member satisfaction. Results - Internal members' satisfaction had a positive effect on job and customer performance. It mediated the relationship between organizational environment, customer relationship factors and job performance. It also mediated the relationship between organizational environment and customer performance. Conclusions - If internal members' relationship with customers is improved by the members' satisfaction, customer retention, customer satisfaction, and work performance will be achieved. The stability and usability in CRM system support jobs effectively, but the internal members did not feel their job satisfaction. Thus, they did not show a positive effect on job and customer performance.

특수교사와 직장동료가 판단하는 지적장애인의 직업적 성공요인에 관한 융합연구 (A Convergence Study on Speciall Teacher's and Fellow Worker's Ranking of Factors Judged Critical to Job Success for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities)

  • 이 연구에서는 특수교사와 직장동료가 판단하는 지적장애인의 직업적 성공요인의 범주별 및 전체 요인별 서열을 비교, 분석하였는데, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 특수교사와 직장동료 모두 작업관련 기술군을 가장 중요하게 생각하였다. 특수교사는 사회적 기술군을, 직장동료는 개인적 기술군을 더 중요하게 생각하였다. 특수교사는 자신이 맡은 일을 잘 처리하고, 감독자의 지시에 잘 따르며, 흥미를 가지고 일을 하는 것을 중요한 요인으로 꼽았고, 직장동료는 감독자의 지시에 잘 따르고, 자신이 맡은 일을 잘 처리하는 것을 무엇보다 중요하게 생각하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 지적장애인의 직업 및 진로 교육과정을 개발하는 데 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

종합병원 간호사의 직무착근도 관련 변인들 간의 관계 구조모형 (Structure equation modeling of job embeddedness in general hospital nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the factors affecting a hypothetical model of testing for general hospital nurses' job embeddedness. Methods: Data were collected from August 20 to September 19, 2021, by a self-administered questionnaire answered by 428 general hospital nurses. The data were analyzed by SPSS and AMOS. Results: Nine of the hypothetical model's 12 hypotheses were supported by the data collected from all participants. The test results indicate that ego resilience, subjective career success, and recovery experience from job stress directly affect participants' job embeddedness. Nurses' work environments were reported to affect ego resilience and subjective career success, while at the same time ego resilience and subjective career success affected the participants' job embeddedness. Work-life balance was found to affect ego resilience and ego resilience affected subjective career success, and at the same time subjective career success directly affected participants' recovery experiences from job stress and job embeddedness. Of these variables, subjective career success had the strongest direct effect on participants' job embeddedness. Work-life balance affected the participants' recovery experiences from job stress, and their recovery experiences from job stress were found to directly affect job embeddedness. Conclusion: These results suggest that different management strategies to enhance hospital nurses' job embeddedness should address nurses' ego resilience, subjective career success, and recovery experiences from job stress.

호텔 종사원의 직원가치와 직무순환 중요도가 경력성공에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Employee Value Proposition and the Importance of Job Rotation on the Subjective Career Success)

  • 본 연구는 호텔산업에서 종업원이 차지하는 중요성에 기초하여, 기업의 제안된 직원가치(EVP: Employee Value Proposition)와 직무순환의 중요도가 주관적 경력성공에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 설문조사는 서울 지역 특 1, 2급 호텔에 근무하는 종업원을 대상으로 편의표본추출을 하였고, 유효표본 379명의 자료가 실증분석에 사용되었다. 요인분석결과, EVP의 요인으로 '성장개발,' '상호신뢰,' '근무환경,' '역량인정' '급여와 보상' 등 5개 요인이, 직무순환의 요인으로 '개인의 발전과 효용성,' '운영절차,' '경력관리' 등 3개 요인이 각각 도출되었다. EVP와 주관적 경력성공에 대한 가설검증 결과 EVP의 5개 요인 중 '급여와 보상'을 제외한 모든 요인이 주관적 경력성공에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 EVP가 직무순환에 미치는 영향을 조사한 결과도 '급여와 보상'을 제외한 EVP의 요인이 주관적 경력성공에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 직무순환이 주관적 경력성공에 미치는 영향을 파악한 결과, 직무순환의 하위 요소인 '개인의 발전과 효용성', '운영절차', '경력관리' 모두 주관적 경력 성공에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 주관적 경력성공 및 직무순환의 인식에 있어 종업원들은 금전적인 보상 보다는 비금전적 보상에 의해 영향을 받는다는 것을 의미한다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구결과가 갖는 학문적, 실무적 시사점(예, 조직문화의 창출)이 결론 부분에 제시되었다.

  • This study focused on analyzing the relations of empowerment recognized by a five star hotel culinary team in job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and outcome. The purpose of this survey is to show a desirable culinary organization in hotel management. This survey was shared by two groups recognized as high empowerment and low empowerment groups, for job satisfaction, success, organizational commitment, and outcome measurements. This study presented the difference between recognizable high empowerment and the effects of low empowerment groups which showed positive effects on the high empowerment group compared with the low empowerment group. This means that positive effects on the three main factors of job satisfaction, success, organizational commitment, outcome measurements, and hotel culinary organizations are required empowerment for the new organization of management.

직무 리뷰 분석을 통한 산업군별 직무만족/존속 요인 및 직무불만족/이직 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Job Satisfaction/Retention Factors and Job Unsatisfaction/Turnover Factors by Industries using Job Reviews)

  • Keeping good, talented people is one of the most significant factors in a company's success. HR analytics is an important area for applying big data analysis techniques to human resources. It provides organizational insight that enables effective management of employees, allowing management to reach their business goals quickly and efficiently. Job satisfaction and employee turnover analysis are the keys to HR analytics. Job review web services have been becoming popular. Because people exchange information about job satisfaction and turnover through these web services, useful information about HR Analytics is accumulated on the job review web sites. In this paper, we identified factors of employee retention by analyzing a Job Satisfaction/Retention group, and the factors of employee turnover by analyzing a Job Unsatisfaction/Turnover group. In order to do this, we first classified employees according to whether their self-reported job satisfaction or turnover was true. We collected and analyzed data from Jobplanet, a popular job review site. Through dominance analysis and LDA topic modeling, we found major factors, topics, and keywords of the classified groups by IT, service, and manufacturing domains. Our approach is a novel model to apply the analysis of reviews and text mining to the HR domain, and it will be practically helpful for setting new strategies that improve job satisfaction.

벤처기업의 지식경영 성공요인 도출에 관한 연구: 코스닥 상장기업을 대상으로 (A Study on the Key Success Factors for Knowledge Management of the Venture Businesses Listed in KOSDAQ)

  • Recently, Korean economy is boosted by the active introduction of many venture businesses full of entrepreneurship. It has been widely accepted implicitly that success of the venture business originates from unique style of knowledge management. This assumption looks natural when we consider the fact that success of the venture business heavily depends on differentiated intelligent asset or knowledge. However, such implicit belief has never been tested empirically. To fill the research void like this, this paper proposes an empirical derivation of key success factors from the venture businesses listed in KOSDAQ. To add rigor to our results, we performed regression analysis by using the derived key success factors as independent variables, and introducing organization efficiency, job satisfaction, and accomplishment motivation as dependent variables. Regression results showed that our approach is justified from the statistical perspective.

Critical Factors for Organizational Commitment: An Empirical Study in Vietnam

  • How to manage a business effectively and successfully is the most important goal of all businesses on their way to expand and develop. Most researchers have confirmed that highly committed employees may perform better than less committed ones. The paper aims to find out what critical factors really affect employee's commitment for success of a business. The findings show that three factors having impacts on organizational commitment are leadership, meeting effectiveness and job satisfaction. Particularly, leadership positively affects meeting effectiveness with weight of 0.838. It is believed that if employees feel satisfied with their job, they become more committed to their organization. In addition, it is evident that meeting effectiveness positively affects organizational commitment with weight of 0.296. Last but not the least, in the relationship between meeting effectiveness and organizational commitment, there is a mediator of job satisfaction with the indirect effect of 0.454 and its bootstrap errors at 0.053. It emphasizes the importance of meetings in workplaces. In order to make subordinates satisfied with their jobs, every conflict or problem needs to be thoroughly resolved in meetings. That's why meeting effectiveness has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Furthermore, whether meetings are effective or not is based on leaders or meeting organizers.

보건소 관리 결핵환자의 퇴록시 치료성공 요인 (Related Factors of Treatment Success of Patients with Tuberculosis Management in Public Health Centers)

  • Objectives: This retrospective study is to identify related factors of treatment success of patients with tuberculosis at community health centers. Methods: The subjects of this study were 1,417 patients with tuberculosis treated in 28 community health centers. The predictors of tuberculosis treatment success were analyzed in terms of 2 areas, which were characteristics of patients and health centers(TB control program). The characteristics of patients consist of 2 factors, such as demographic & diagnosis and treatment. The present conditions of health centers consist of 3 factors, location of centers, resources, and community activities. Data were analysed using X2- test and logistic regression methods. Results: The significant differences between success group and failure group were sex(p=0.003), age(p=0.013), job(p=0.000), type of patients(p=0.001), past history(p=0.029), BCG injection(p=0.009), sputum culture examination(p=0.017), period of treatment(p=0.000), location of center(p=0.001), population per staff(p=0.015), FTE(p=0.027), education days of staff(p=0.005), BCG injection rate(p=0.001), case detection rate (p=0.003), and health education provision rate(p=0.044). Then these variables were analysed using logistic regression analysis. Significant positive factors of treatment success were occupation(95% CI:1.3-6.1), periods of treatment(95% CI:1.5-2.2), center in large city(95% CI:1.2-16.7), center in middle city(95% CI:2.1-24.3), job education related TB(95% CI:1.02-1.3), and BCG injection rate(95% CI:1.1-303.4). Significant negative factors of treatment success were male(95% CI:0.1-0.5) and treatment after default(95% CI:0.005-0.5). Conclusions: Tuberculosis is still one of serious diseases in Korea, because it causes highest mortality rate among OECD countries. This study may provide information to improve treatment effectiveness of tuberculosis at community health centers.
