Most X-ray generator had been used do rectifier type transformer high tension generator which is supplied in a clinical diagnosis. But it is difficult to miniaturize and become light weight. Also, because the ripple rate of tube voltage is high, X-ray generating efficiency is very low. Therefore, it is supplied gradually from abroad being developed high tension generator for inverter type X-ray generator which use semi-conductor switching element for electric power that have high speed switching ability to solved these problem. But, semi-conductor element of big capacity are used by X-ray tube's big consumption power and diffusion is difficult in the small size hospital because production cost is ascending by doing digital control through DSP and product price becomes expensive. Therefore, in this paper, design and manufactured CR type voltage divider for feedback control of tube voltage of high frequency resonance type inverter and high tension transformer for high frequency to apply economical diffusion type X-ray generator which have wide output voltage and load extent. It is Proved do X-ray generator and stability of X-ray tube's output characteristics through an experiment.
Fuel cell system needs DC-AC conversion inverter system because its output is DC. And the inverter system can be operated not only in stand-alone load but also in interactive mode in interactive mode, it is necessary to control active-reactive power of inverter and to synchronize inverter output voltage to power line voltage. In this paper, a 12 phase multiple VSI type GTO inverter system for fuel cell is described. Synchronization between power line voltage phase and inverter output voltage phase, and reduction of harmonics in the output voltage phase are the purpose of this inverter system. This control algorithm for the system is realized by the software method utilizing 8031AH 8bit Microprocessor.
This paper presents a new single-phase asymmetrical cascaded multilevel DC-link inverter. The proposed inverter comprises two stages. The main stage of the inverter consists of multiple similar cells, each of which is a half-bridge inverter consisting of two switches and a single DC source. All cells are connected in a cascaded manner with a fixed neutral point. The DC source values are not made equal to increase the performance of the inverter. The second circuit is a folded cascaded H-bridge circuit operating at a line frequency. One of the main advantages of this proposed topology is that it is a modular type and can thus be extended to high stages without changing the configuration of the main stage circuit. Two control schemes, namely, low switching with selective harmonic elimination and sinusoidal pulse width modulation, are employed to validate the proposed topology. The detailed approach of each control scheme and switching pulses are discussed in detail. A 150W prototype of the proposed system is implemented in the laboratory to verify the validity of the proposed topology.

The transistors of single phase 3 level PWM Inverter compose output power transistors and neutral point clamping transistors, which are NPN transistors. Waveforms of driving signals for this are PWM waves for power transistors and period operating waves for neutral point clamping transistors, which signals made W-type modulation from rectangular and sine wave. The output power transistors operate at ON-time complementary and neutral point clamping transistors operate at OFF-time complementary respectively. Therefore, each transistors operate in half period at parallel. Characteristics of this inverter circuit is parallel switching method about series switching method of general inverter. As modulation of 3 level drive signals made from full-wave rectifier of sine wave and rectangular wave, which are level wave about 3 level of complementary transistor inverter. So, this circuit composed complementary operation inverter of NPN transistors only compare with PNP-NPN complementary inverter, which have high power 3 level inverter of complementary operation.
In this paper, the analysis on type effect of inverter output voltage distortion on the control of an induction motor is discussed. The inverter output voltage is distorted differently from the reference voltage owing to the inverter nonlinear characteristic. The inverter nonlinear characteristic results from the voltage drop, the inherent characteristic of the power semiconductor, and the dead time for preventing the short circuit of the inverter leg. This characteristic distorts the inverter output voltage and then, causes the motor flux estimation error. Although this characteristics do not significantly effect in the general-purpose induction motor control, but significantly effect on the low-speed operation of high performance motor control such as the sensorless vector control.
This paper presents a cost effective quasi-resonant soft-switching PWM high frequency inverter with minimum circuit components. This inverter can achieve wider soft commutation, simpler power circuit configuration, smaller volumetric size, lower cost and wider power regulation range, higher-efficiency as compared with single ended quasi-resonant ZVS-PFM inverter and active voltage clamped quasi-resonant ZVS-PWM inverter. The operation principle of the proposed inverter is described on the basis of the simulation and experimental results, together with its operating performances in steady state. The operating performances of this unique proposed high frequency inverter based on ZVS and ZCS arms-related soft commutation principle is evaluated and discussed as compared with the active voltage-clamped ZVS-PWM inverter and a conventional single-ended ZVS-PFM inverter. The practical effectiveness of a novel type quasi-resonant soft-switching PWM high frequency inverter using IGBT is actually proved for consumer induction heated appliances as rice cooker, hot water producer, steamer and super heated steamer. The extended bidirectional circuit topology of quasi-resonant PWM high frequency inverter with minimum circuit components is demonstrated, which operate as the direct frequency changer.
In this paper, we propose a new Z-source inverter structure to reduce switching elements and PWM pulse control method. Z-network is connected between the inverter backplane and ground, rather than between the DC voltage and the inverter in an improved Z-source inverter. And the improved Z-source inverter has the advantages of limiting the capacitor inrush current and reducing the capacitor voltage stress. We have proposed a topology of a new type of switch-reduced improved Z-source inverter that reduces the number of switches from six to four in an improved Z-source inverter and developed a PWM control method suitable for the proposed topology. The characteristics and the performance of the proposed method were verified by using PSIM simulation.
This paper presents a novel three-phase power module bridge type auxiliary resonant AC link snubber for the three-phase voltage-fed sinwave soft switching PWM inverter operating under specific instantaneous space voltage vector modulation. The operating principle of this resonant snubber is described for current source load model during one switching period, along with its design approach based on the simulation data. The performance evaluations of space vector modulation three-phase sinewave soft switching inverter with a new three-phase active auxiliary resonant AC link snubber are discussed as compared with those of three-phase voltage source-fed sinewave hard switching PWM inverter with a standard space voltage vector modulation strategy. The power loss analysis and conventional efficiency estimation of three-phase soft switching PWM inverter using ICBT modules are carried out including all the conduction power losses based upon the measured v-i characteristics of IGBT and its antiparallel diode as well as their switching losses.

As the renewable energy market grows, grid-connected inverters have been improving and expanding in several fields in recent years because energy conversion devices are the main components of solar systems. In this paper, a high-precision new grid-connected three-phase inverter system is proposed. The proposed system consists of a main inverter, a sub inverter and a transformer. The main inverter operates at a low switching frequency and high power and transmits power to the grid. A sub-inverter connected in series with the transmission line through a matching transformer operates at lower power than the main inverter to provide input values to the transformer. The transformer acts as a power supply according to the voltage compensation value. This study is based on the principle of operation of the UPFC(Unified Power Flow Controller) structure used to regulate power flow in AC transmission lines. The grid-connected inverter system proposed in this paper is implemented with high precision and high resolution. The proposed system was verified through its ability to enhance and ensure the safety of the proposed system through simulation and experiment.

This paper suggests a new modulation strategy for step pulse type multi-level inverter. The proposed strategy is simple to determine the switching angles without regard to increase of levels. Designed to extract the equivalent RMS value compared to ideal sine wave from inverter, it can be applied effectively to high level step pulse inverter. Also this paper proposed modulation strategy for modified H-bridge 13 level inverter which has different cell source voltages with simulation and experiment. The modulation characteristics from simulation and experiment, agreed very well with tracing sine wave about modified structure of cascaded H-bridge multi-level inverter.
