ANFIS를 이용한 도립진자의 적응제어 (Adaptive Control of Inverted Pendulum using ANFIS)

  • In general, fuzzy control system are efficient for the systems which are complicated and nonlinear. But the fuzzy control flawed by the fact that it is much trial and errors in process of getting parameters of membership function which can express optimal status of system. This paper shows the methodology which is applied of ANFIS(Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System) for the coverage against these defects. It proved superiority of ANFIS by controlling inverted pendulum.

  • Fuzzy controller design consists of intuition, and any other information about how to control system, into a set of rules. These rules can then be applied to the system. It is very important to decide parameters of IF-THEN rules. Because fuzzy controller can make more adequate force to the plant by means of parameter optimization, which is accomplished by learning procedure. In this paper, we apply fuzzy controller designed to the inverted pendulum.

도립진자 시스템의 뉴로-퍼지 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Neuro-Fuzzy Control for an Inverted Pendulum System)

  • Recently, fuzzy and neural network techniques have been successfully applied to control of complex and ill-defined system in a wide variety of areas, such as robot, water purification, automatic train operation system and automatic container crane operation system, etc. In this paper, we present a neuro-fuzzy controller which unifies both fuzzy logic and multi-layered feedforward neural networks. Fuzzy logic provides a means for converting linguistic control knowledge into control actions. On the other hand, feedforward neural networks provide salient features, such as learning and parallelism. In the proposed neuro-fuzzy controller, the parameters of membership functions in the antecedent part of fuzzy inference rules are identified by using the error backpropagation algorithm as a learning rule, while the coefficients of the linear combination of input variables in the consequent part are determined by using the least square estimation method. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed controller is verified through computer simulation of an inverted pendulum system.

  • In this paper, we propose a new modification method of the look-up table in self-organizing fuzzy control using look-up table. This method has the property that look-up table is modified to have fast response property. Its principle is that the controller forces the trajectory to go into the fast respose region which the error change amount is larger than the error at initial time whenever the reference or disturbance change. Also we introduce the variable learning speed coefficient which is proportional to distance from switching curve. And to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed method, we had simulation study for some examples and esecuted pole balance experiments with inverted pendulum.

  • In this paper, a new DNA coding method, namely modified DNA coding method based on the biological DNA and the evolution mechanism of genetic algorithm. In order to evaluate the propose algorithms, for an example, they are applied to the fuzzy control of parallel double inverted pendulum system. Simulation result show the method is effective in finding the fuzzy control rules and is more excellent than conventional methods in control the system.

  • Fuzzy system which are based on membership functions and rules, can control nonlinear, uncertian, complex system well. However, Fuzzy controller has problems: It is difficult to design a stable for amateur. To update the then-part membership functions of the fuzzy controller can be designed using the error back-propagation algorithm to be minimized error. Then we could be optimized the system choosing a good performance index. The proposed fuzzy controller based on neural network is applied to control an inverted pendulum for demonstration of the robustness of proposed methodology.

  • This paper presents a simple and new digital redesign algorithm for fussy-model-based controllers. In the first stage, a continuous-time TS fuzzy model is constructed for a given continuous-time nonlinear system and a corresponding continuous-time fuzzy-model-based controller is established based on the existing controller synthesis algorithms. In the second stage, the continuous-time fuzzy-model-based controller is converted to equivalent discrete-time fuzzy-model-based controller, aiming at maintaining the property of the analogue controlled system, which are called intelligent digital redesign. Finally, the proposed method is applied to the digital control of inverted pendulum system to shows the effectiveness and the feasibility of the method.

  • The stabilization control of Inverted Pendulum(IP) system is difficult because of its nonlinearity and structural unstability. Futhermore, a series of conventional techniques such as the pole placement and the optimal control based on the local linearizations have narrow stabilizable regions, At the same time, the fine tunings of their gain parameters are also troublesome, Thus, in this paper, an Evolving Neural Network ControlleY(ENNC) which its structure and its connection weights are optimized simultaneously by Real Variable Elitist Genetic Algorithm (RVEGA) was presented for stabilization of an IP system with nonlinearity, This proposed ENNC was described by a simple genetic chromosome. Through the simulation and experimental results, we showed that the finally acquired optimal ENNC was very useful in the stabilization control of IP system.

  • In this paper, real-time vision-eyed control system is proposed that combines the information handling capability of computer with the real-time image processing capability of CCD camera, and control effectively real system in the limited environment. The control system is applied to inverted pendulum system, namely, bench marking system. Feasibility of the system is shown in a viewpoint of simulations and experiments.

  • In this paper, fuzzy-PD control system is designed to control angle and position of the inverted pendulum. To optimize parameters of fuzzy-PD controller, we used adaptive evolutionary computation(AEC). AEC uses a Genetic A1gorithm(GA) and an Evolution Strategy(ES) in an adaptive manner in order to take merits of two different evolutionary computations.
