The Fibonacci sequence is a sequence of numbers that has been studied for hundreds of years. In this paper, we introduce the modified k-Fibonacci-like sequence and prove Binet's formula for this sequence and then use it to introduce and prove the Catalan, Cassini, and d'Ocagne identities for the modified k-Fibonacci-like sequence. Also, the ordinary generating function of this sequence is stated.

Today we have excellent motor drive system using high frequency carrier PWM control voltage source inverter in the other hand, we have met serious problems caused by high frequency switching. PWM Cyclo-converter called Matrix converter is expected as the new strategy Possible to improve these problems and add some more convenient features suitable for new drive system. in this Paper, we will introduce the background, features and outline of this converter, and additionally introduce some remarkable activity on this converter

The purpose of this paper is to investigate a characteristic of the assessment of high school math and to introduce an algorithm for school teachers to perform the achievment tests for math in classrooms. Moreover, we introduce a system of objectives which will be appropriate for math in the situation of Korea and illustrate our approach via '96 High School Achievment Test held by Korea National Board of Educational Evaluation.

We introduce the concept of double fuzzy topological spaces as a generalization of intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces and smooth topological spaces and then investigate some of their properties. Also we introduce the notions of fuzzy (${\gamma}$,s)-interiors and fuzzy (${\gamma}$,s)-closures in double fuzzy topological spaces.

In this paper, we introduce SVM(support vector machine) developed to solve the problem of generalization of neural networks. We also introduce boosting algorithm which is a general method to improve accuracy of some given learning algorithm. We propose a new algorithm combining SVM and boosting to solve classification problem. Through the experiment with real and simulated data sets, we can obtain better performance of the proposed algorithm.

Generally, it is important to use the regenerative energy efficiently for decrease of inverter's consuming energy. From various industry sector (railroad, steel, crane etc), re-uses the regenerative energy which uses the regenerative converter unit, and gets a many profit from whole consuming energy. In this paper, we introduce development of the regenerative converter unit that supply the regenerative energy to power source and main drive inverter, and introduce the instance which is applied in the elevator.

In this paper we introduce machine learning theory to business domains for business decisions. First, we review machine learning in general. We give a new look on a previous framework, version space approach, and we introduce PAC (probably approximately correct) learning paradigm which has been developed recently. We illustrate major results of PAC learning with business examples. And then, we give a theoretical analysis is decision tree induction algorithms by the frame work of PAC learning. Finally, we will discuss implications of learning theory toi business domains.

In this paper we shall introduce the algebraic structure of a tensor product for arbitrarily given automata, giving a defintion of the tensor product for automata. We introduce and study that for any set X there always exists a free automaton on X. The existence of a tensor product for automata will be investigated in the same way like modules do.

We introduced the concepts of the generalized accumulation points and the generalized density of a subset of the Euclidean space in [1] and [2]. Using those concepts, we introduce the concepts of the generalized closure, the generalized interior, the generalized exterior and the generalized boundary of a subset and investigate some properties of these sets. The generalized boundary of a subset is closely related to the classical boundary. Finally, we also introduce and study a concept of the thickness of a subset.

In this paper, we introduce the notion of left derivations of BCH algebras and investigate some properties of left derivations in a BCH-algebra. Moreover, we introduce the notions of fixed set and kernel set of derivations in a BCH-algebra and obtained some interesting properties in medial BCH-algebras. Also, we discuss the relations between ideals in a medial BCH-algebras.
