열간 압연기의 롤 편심 제어기에 관한 연구 (A study on roll eccentricity controller of hot rolling mill)

  • A set of approaches suggested to control the eccentricity is discussed in this paper. Among these, filter-integrator method is used to design the controller, which also includes the input signal synchronization, stabilizing filter and eccentricity source discrimination. Using the S/W that is coded for real time application of that controller, we simulated the operations of that one. The simulation results show the characteristics of eccentricity compensation and eccentricity discrimination. However, from these results, we can see that only proper stabilization strategy certificates the safe eccentricity control.

Sinusoidal, Pulse, Triangular Oscillator Using Second Generation Current Conveyor

  • This paper describes the sinusoidal, pulse, triangular oscillator using second generation current conveyor. To obtain the sinusoidal waveform the circuit blocks are constructed by using all pass filter and integrator. The pulse and the triangular waveforms are obtained from the output of sinusoidal oscillator. The peak-to-peak voltages of sinusoidal and triangular waveforms can be easily controlled by the dc offset voltage. Also the output frequency of the oscillator can be controlled by varying passive elements. The designed circuit is verified by HSPICE simulation.

  • As utility pollution take a growing interest, ac/dc converter optimizing utility condition has been vigorously studied in decades. In this paper three phase DCM converter is analyzed and equations for average input currents are presented. Also relationships of voltage gain & duty according to angular velocity are presented and variable frequency controller is implemented using reset integrator which is designed in detail. In result power factor and THD characteristics of 3-stage and 4-stage operation ae compared respectively.

  • This paper describes controller development for a dynamic voltage compensator using a shunt diode converter and series inverter. The control system was designed using 1/4 period integrator and vector relationship between the supply voltage and load voltage. A simulation model and scaled hardware model were developed for analyzing performance of the controller and the whole system. Both results confirm that the dynamic compensator can restore the load voltage under the fault of the distribution system.

  • An inverted pendulum is made practically and controlled by optimal controller and pole placement controller. An IBM PC/XT plays a part of the controller. The control algorithm is implemented with C language. An integrator is added to the controller to solve the high frequency problem. Experiment is performed according to the results of simulation.

  • This note considers the class of controllers with integral action which arise directly from appropriate system models. Via internal model principle approach, a corresponding class of self-tuning controller is shown to have both integral action in controller and offset removal in the tuning algorithm. The key idea is to constrain the estimator in each step in order to ensure that dc gain of feedforward and feedback polynomial of adaptive controller are always equal, thus allowing the loop integrator to work properly.

  • In this paper, a new design technique which uses weighted least-sqare approach for the solution of the pole assignment problem is represented. This technique maybe used to assign some closed loop poles to places which reduce the large system input and output variance due to near pole-zero condition. The least-square approach is also applied to the design of servo self-tuning controller with integrator.

  • In this paper a new adaptive control algorithm is derived, with the unknown manipulator and payload parameters being estimated online. In practice, we may simplify the algorithm by not explicity estimating all unknown parameters. Further, the controller must be robust to residual time-varying disturbance, such as striction or torque ripple. Also, the reference model is a simple douple integrator and the acceleration input for robot manipulator consists of a proportion and derivative controller for trajectory tracking purposes. The validity of this control is confirmed in simulation where two-link robot manipulator shows the robust performances in spite of the existing nonlinear interaction and unknown parametrictings

  • This paper deals with the tapped time delay circuit with SCF(Switched Capacitor Filters). This filter is composed of lossless discrete integrator and the SCF has 2-phase clocks. Experimental results have shown that telephone signals (0~4kHz) could be delayed in the range of sampling frequency 80kHz. But above the range, operational amplifiers and analog switchs have been difficult in the normal operating condition.

  • One of the undesirable nonlinear phenomenon called 'wind up' occours when the integrator in the controller and the saturated actuator interact. Large overshoot, slow response, instability, limit cycle and jump resonance are the characteristics of wind up phenomenon. Several 'anti-windup' compensators have been developed to prevent some of the aforementioned nonlinear characteristics such as instabilituy and limit cycle, but none has studied the effect of antiwindup compensator on the jump resonance. In this paper, we developed an analyitcal method to design the compensator to prevent not only limit cycle but also jump resonance. An illustrative example is included to show the compensator eliminates jump resonance of effectively.
