  • Automated Guided Vehicles(AGVs) are widely used in computer integrated manufacturing(CIM) systems for material handling purposes. Although automated guided vehicles provide higher levels of flexibility and computer integrability, the installations are limited in number and one of the critical reasons lies in the complexity involved in the operation. The main objective of this research is to alleviate this problem by proposing efficient integrated operational control methods for AGV-based CIM systems. Particularly, this research is concerned with the mixed problem of dispatching automated guided vehicles and scheduling machines operation. The proposed dynamic heuristic algorithm uses various priority schemes and relevant information concerning the load of the system, the status of queues, and the position of AGVs in the scheduling process. The scheduling decision process is hierarchical in the sense that different decision criteria are applied sequentially to identify the most appropriate part to be served. This algorithm consists of two sections, the section of part selection by AGVs for the next service whenever an AGV completes the current assignment, and the section of part selection by machines for next service whenever a machine completes the current operation. The proposed algorithm has been compared with other scheduling schemes using the performance measure of mean flow-time and mean tardiness. Simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm can reduce the mean flow-time and mean tardiness significantly.

  • 본 논문은 INS/vSLAM 통합 항법 시스템의 성능 향상을 위한 기초 연구로써, 비전 센서의 영상처리 성능을 향상을 위한 알고리즘 개발에 목표를 두고 있다. 비전센서의 영상처리알고리즘으로 SIFT 알고리즘을 사용하였으며, SIFT 알고리즘의 특징점 정합 성능을 개선하기 위해 특징점 정합 필터를 적용하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘을 이용하여 기존의 SIFT 알고리즘을 파라미터 조절한 경우보다 향상된 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 차후 실시간 통합 항법 시스템에 적용하기 위해서 알고리즘의 속도를 향상시키는 작업이 필요하다.

A Novel Multi-link Integrated Factor Algorithm Considering Node Trust Degree for Blockchain-based Communication

  • A blockchain is an underlying technology and basic infrastructure of the Bitcoin system. At present, blockchains and their applications are developing rapidly. However, the basic research of blockchain technology is still in the early stages. The efficiency and reliability of blockchain communication is one of the research problems that urgently need to be studied and addressed. Existing algorithms may be less feasible for blockchain-based communication because they only consider a single communication factor (node communication capability or node trust degree) and only focus on a single communication performance parameter(communication time or communication reliability). In this paper, to shorten the validation time of blockchain transactions and improve the reliability of blockchain-based communication, we first establish a multi-link concurrent communication model based on trust degree, and then we propose a novel integrated factor communication tree algorithm (IFT). This algorithm comprehensively considers the node communication link number and the node trust degree and selects several nodes with powerful communication capacity and high trust as the communication sources to improve the concurrency and communication efficiency. Simulation results indicate that the IFT algorithm outperforms existing algorithms. A blockchain communication routing scheme based on the IFT algorithm can increase communication efficiency by ensuring communication reliability.

  • This paper deals with the development of expert system in distribution system which combined with graphic user interface. The proposed expert system can recognize and adjust to the system change, and includes the rule bases of security monitoring. Also it provides load transfer algorithm for efficient load distribution. The graphic user environment for expert system is implemented in the mouse-oriented user interface with overlapped window functions and pull-down menus. Therefore, the developed graphic integrated expert system can afford to assist system operators very conveniently through the various graphic function in proposing an optimal plan of load transfer for fault restoration and outage schedule.

  • 연속 공정 라인을 구성하는 롤러들의 속도뿐만 아니라 토크를 적적히 제어할 수 있는 통합형 제어기를 제안하였다. 여러 대의 롤러들이 동시에 가감속 할 때 발생하는 속도 편차는 소재의 장력을 유발하여 가공중인 제품의 품질에 나쁜 영향을 미치게 된다. 제안된 통합형 제어기를 사용하면 속도 기준값 편차나 속도제어 기 특성차이가 존재하더라도 토크 및 속도 기준값을 잘 추종하도록 제어하는 것이 가능하다 제안된 제어기는 가감속 등의 과도상태에는 속도 기준 값을 추종하는 것을 위주로 하고 정상 운전속도에서는 토크 기준값에 따라 제어함으로서 인접한 롤러간의 부하를 분담하도록 설계되었다 특히 제안된 제어기는 인접한 롤러의 제어 정보를 필요로 하지 않으므로 각각의 롤러 제어기 유닛에 쉽게 구현될 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 연속 공정 라인 모의 실험장치에서 제안된 제어기의 토크 및 속도 제어 특성을 비교 검토하였다.

  • 최근 데이터마이닝 기법을 이용하여 기업의 부실을 예측하고자 하는 연구가 많이 이루어져 왔다. 여러 연구자들에 의해 다양한 데이터마이닝 기법이 연구되었으나 각 방법론이 장단점을 가지고 있기에 이를 보완적으로 사용하고자하는 결합기법에 대한 연구도 꾸준하게 발표되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 데이터마이닝 기법을 각 기법의 특성을 바탕으로 4가지 형태로 구분하고 각 형태의 대표적인 기법을 선택하여 이를 유전자알고리즘을 통하여 통합하는 기법을 제안한다. 유전자알고리즘은 전역최적화기법으로 다양한 기법의 결과를 유기적으로 통합하여 최적해 또는 유사최적해를 찾게 해 줄 것이다. 본 연구에서는 기업부실예측에서 유용한 모형을 찾기 위하여 단일모형, 기존의 통합모형과 본 연구에서 제안하는 유전자알고리즘 통합기법의 결과를 비교한다.

An Improved Phase-Shifted Carrier Pulse Width Modulation Based on the Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm for Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel Inverters

  • Cascaded H-bridge multilevel (CHBML) inverters usually include a large number of isolated dc-voltage sources. Some faults in the dc-voltage sources result in unequal cell dc voltages. Unfortunately, the conventional phase-shifted carrier (PSC) PWM method that is widely used for CHBML inverters cannot eliminate low frequency sideband harmonics when the cell dc voltages are not equal. This paper analyzes the principle of sideband harmonic elimination, and proposes an improved PSCPWM that can eliminate low frequency sideband harmonics under the condition of unequal dc voltages. In order to calculate the carrier phases, it is necessary to solve transcendental equations for low frequency sideband harmonic elimination. Therefore, an approach based on the artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm is presented in this paper. The proposed PSCPWM method enhances the reliability of CHBML inverters. The proposed PSCPWM is not limited to CHBML inverters. It can also be applied to other types of multilevel inverters. Simulation and experimental result obtained from a prototype CHBML inverter verify the theoretical analysis and the achievements made in this paper.

생애주기비용 최소화에 의한 점탄성감쇠기 장착 빌딩구조물의 통합최적설계 및 비용효율성 평가 (Integrated Optimum Design and Cost Effectiveness Evaluation of Viscoelastically Damped Building Structures based on Life-Cycle Cost Minimization)

  • 점탄성감쇠기가 설치된 구조물의 통합최적설계기법 및 비용효율성 평가기법을 제시하였다. 구조부재와 점탄성감쇠기의 사용량을 설계변수로 하여, 생애주기비용을 최소화하도록 최적화문제를 정식화하였으며, 유전자알고리즘을 적용하여 최적의 설계변수를 검색하였다. 수치예제에 대한 통합최적설계 수행 결과를 통해 지반운동 특성에 따른 점탄성감쇠기의 최적배치 및 각 층 강성의 최적분포 경향을 분석하였으며, 점탄성감쇠기가 설치되지 않은 구조시스템과의 생애주기비용 비교를 통하여 비용효율성을 평가하였다. 점탄성감쇠기는 특히 중약진지역에서 높은 비용효율성을 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

Carrier Phase-Based Gps/Pseudolite/Ins Integration: Solutions Of Ambiguity Resolution And Cycle Slip Detection/Identification

  • This paper addresses solutions to the challenges of carrier phase integer ambiguity resolution and cycle slip detection/identification, for maintaining high accuracy of an integrated GPS/Pseudolite/INS system. Such a hybrid positioning and navigation system is an augmentation of standard GPS/INS systems in localized areas. To achieve the goal of high accuracy, the carrier phase measurements with correctly estimated integer ambiguities must be utilized to update the system integration filter's states. The occurrence of a cycle slip that is undetected is, however, can significantly degrade the filter's performance. This contribution presents an effective approach to increase the reliability and speed of integer ambiguity resolution through using pseudolite and INS measurements, with special emphasis on reducing the ambiguity search space. In addition, an algorithm which can effectively detect and correct the cycle slips is described as well. The algorithm utilizes additional position information provided by the INS, and applies a statistical technique known as the cumulative-sum (CUSUM) test that is very sensitive to abrupt changes of mean values. Results of simulation studies and field tests indicate that the algorithms are performed pretty well, so that the accuracy and performance of the integrated system can be maintained, even if cycle slips exist in the raw GPS measurements.

가변강성 및 가변감쇠 조절장치를 이용한 구조물의 지진응답제어 (Seismic Response Control of Structures Using Variable Stiffness and Variable Damping Devices)

  • Hybrid semi-active control system is applied to improve the seismic peformance of the building structure against earthquake excitation and the LQR-based semi-active control algorithm is developed to tune the integrated stiffness/damping characteristics of the hybrid system complementarily. Numerical simulation for a 8-story shear building has been carried out to verify the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed method. Analysis results showed that the hybrid system can be a compromising solution to the seismic response control problem, compared with conventional variable stiffness or variable damping systems. Comparison results proved that the proposed algorithm can perform refined tuning of the stiffness and damping coefficients of the hybrid semi-active control system better than sliding mode control algorithm.
