지하철 고분자 지지애자의 설계 및 특성 평가 (Study on a design and characteristics tests of polymeric insulators for subway)

  • Polymeric suspended insulators for subway and electrical track line had been designed and manufactured. The main elements to design polymeric insulators were the insulation ability and the optimal structure. To get the insulation ability, electrical and mechanical tests according to standards had done on housing rubbers and FRP cores and selected the sample with best properties as a insulator. The insulator shape and fitting parts with minimum electrical stress was simulated by FEM electrical field analysis program. The manufactured insulator set had been tested and estimated the electrical and mechanical according to ES and KS, and showed good characteristics in these tests.

  • In this paper a series of developing process for an insulator which can be employed in overhead distribution lines, using polymeric composite materials, is introduced. In order to design an insulator for heavily polluted area, weathershed of alternating type was adopted, which could have longer leakage distance. Modified EVA was used as surface material which has good electrical and mechanical characteristics as well as superior chemical stability. FRP core was covered with above surface material through heat shrinking process. By standardization of each process, higher productivity and lower production cost could be ensured. The developed insulator has been put under various tests including long-term field test and artificial aging test and satisfactory results were obtained.

  • For detecting of Energized Insulator, a new Lateral Information Propagation Networks(LIPN) has been proposed. Faulty insulator is reduced the rate of insolation extremely, and taken the results dirty and injured. It is necessary to be actions that detect the faulty insulator and exchange the new one. And thus, we have designed the LIPN to be detected that insulators by the real time computation method through the inter-node diffusion. In the network, a node corresponds to a state in the quantized input space. Each node is composed of a processing unit and fixed weights from its neighbor nodes as well as its input terminal. Information propagates among neighbor nodes laterally and inter-node interpolation is achieved. Through the results of simulation experiments, we define the ability of real-time detecting the faulty insulators.

  • This paper describes the results the problem of stress calculation and optimization into a FRP(Fiber-glass Reinforced Plastic) tube crimped into a metal end-fitting. This type of assembly is used mainly is used mainly for suspension and line post insulators. Fitting strength of FRP and flange of this study is required greatly from composite insulator to important special quality. Therefore, wish to seek analysis and mechanical strength performance that follow to FRP tube and flange of top and bottom mechanical fitting.

  • In this study mechanical for stress according to Pin type of high voltage suspension type insulator. R-shaped metal pin. and a tapered metal pin having a tensile pin having a tensile strength of more than the breaking strength of insulating body are provided in porcelain insulating bodies, and a suspension insulator according to the present invention, a test for determining the tensile strength of the insulating body was made and the results. These insulators are designed and produced by using the computer analysis of mechanical and electrical stresses together with the technical know-how accumulated from long year of study into every respect of insulators.

  • 산화막은 반도체 공정 중 가장 핵심적이며 기본적인 물질이다. 반도체 소자에서 내부의 캐리어들의 이동을 막고 전기를 절연시켜주는 절연체로서 역할을 하게 된다. 실제로 제작된 산화막에서는 dangling bond 혹은 내부에 축적되는 charge들의 의해 leakage가 생기게 되고 그에 따라 산화막의 특성은 저하되게 된다. 내부에서 특성을 저하시키는 defect을 감소시키기 위해 Plasma Treatment에 따른 특성변화를 관찰하였다. 본 연구에서는 최적화 시킨 Flexible TFT제작을 위해 저온에서 Silicon Oxide로 형성한 Gate Insulator에 각각 N2O, H2, NH3가스를 주입 후 Plasma처리를 하였다. 특성화 시킨 Gate Insulator를 이용하여 MIS(Metal-Insulator-Semiconductor)구조를 제작 후 C-V curve특성변화, Dit의 감소, Stress bias에 따른 stability를 확인 하였다.

Theoretical Study of Electron Mobility in Double-Gate Field Effect Transistors with Multilayer (strained-)Si/SiGe Channel

  • Electron mobility has been investigated theoretically in undoped double-gate (DG) MOSFETs of different channel architectures: a relaxed-Si DG SOI, a strained-Si (sSi) DG SSOI (strained-Si-on-insulator, containing no SiGe layer), and a strained-Si DG SGOI (strained-Si-on-SiGe-on-insulator, containing a SiGe layer) at 300K. Electron mobility in the DG SSOI device exhibits high enhancement relative to the DG SOI. In the DG SGOI devices the mobility is strongly suppressed by the confinement of electrons in much narrower strained-Si layers, as well as by the alloy scattering within the SiGe layer. As a consequence, in the DG SGOI devices with thinnest strained-Si layers the electron mobility may drop below the level of the relaxed DG SOI and the mobility enhancement expected from the strained-Si devices may be lost.

Visible Wavelength Photonic Insulator for Enhancing LED Light Emission

  • We report design and simulation of a two-dimensional (2D) silicon-based nanophotonic crystal as an optical insulator to enhance the light emission efficiency of light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The device was designed in a manner that a triangular array silicon photonic crystal light insulator has a square trench in the middle where LED can be placed. By varying the normalized radius in the range of 0.3-0.5 using plane wave expansion method (PWEM), we found that the normalized radius of 0.45 creates a large band gap for transverse electric (TE) polarization. Subsequently a series of light propagation simulation were carried out using 2D and three-dimensional (3D) finite-difference time-domain (FDTD). The designed silicon-based light insulator device shows optical characteristics of a region in which light propagation was forbidden in the horizontal plane for TE light with most of the visible light spectrum in the wavelength range of 450 nm to 600 nm.

인공오손에 따른 배전기자재의 건조 및 습윤 섬락에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Dry and Wet Flashover Voltages of the Artificially Salt Contaminated Distribution Facilities)

  • The dry and wet flashover characteristics on the contaminated distribution facilities was investigated. The test were carried out on the suspension insulator, line post insulator, lightning arrester, cut off switch, etc. In the dry state, the flashover voltages of facilities contaminated with B, C, D classes are similar to the non-contaminated ones. However, in the wet state, the flashover voltages of facilities contaminated with B, C, D classes are decreased. The flashover voltages of some few facilities show under the standard value. This results indicate that the high humidity may cause the flashover on distribution facilities.

  • Insulating polymers and their composites have been widely used in various electric apparatus or cables. Recently, the effects of interfaces (metal/insulator or insulator/insulator interfaces) on electrical insulation have attracted much attention. However, interfacial phenomena in actual insulation systems and their physical backgrounds are not well understood yet. In this paper, the behaviour of charge carriers near the metal/polymer interface and its effects on conduction and breakdown phenomena are discussed. The metal/polymer interface strongly affects carrier injection, space charge formation and breakdown phenomena. Based on their experimental results, the physical backgrounds of the interfacial phenomena are explained.
