모델링/시뮬레이션 기법을 이용한 세라믹 섬유 단열재의 열전도도 해석 I (An Analysis of Thermal Conductivity of Ceramic Fibrous Insulator by Modeling & Simulation Method I)

  • 시뮬레이션/모델링 기법을 이용하여 세라믹 섬유단열재의 열전도도를 분석하였으며, 열전도도를 예측할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하였다. 세라믹 섬유 단열재는 $1600^{\circ}$까지 사용할 수 있는 고온용 단열재로써 극심한 공력가열 환경에 노출되는 고속 항공기 및 유도무기에 적용 가능한 재료이다. 섬유 단열재의 열전도도는 전도 열전달 및 복사 열전달에 의해 결정되므로 각각의 메카니즘에 의한 열전도도를 계산하였다. 전도 열전달은 균질화 기법을 이용하였으며, 복사 열전달은 무작위 수(random number)를 이용하여 계산하였다. 특히 복사 가능 거리 및 확률을 도입함으로써 실험 상수(experimental constant) 없이 복사 열전도도를 계산할 수 있었다. 본 논문 연구 방법으로 계산된 섬유 단열재의 열전도도는 실험값에 대하여 평균 93%의 신뢰도를 나타내었다. 또 본 논문에서 개발한 열전도도 계산프로그램은 섬유와 공기의 열적 특성만으로 계산이 가능하므로, 섬유 단열재와 유사한 내부조직을 갖는 대부분의 복합재료에 적용할 수 있다.

  • Uninterrupted power supply has become indispensable during the maintenance task of active electric power lines as a result of today's highly information-oriented society and increasing demand of electric utilities. The maintenance task has the risk of electric shock and the danger of falling from high place. Therefore it is necessary to realize an autonomous robot system. In order to realize these tasks autonomously, the three dimensional position of target object such as electric line and the stand of insulator must be recognized accurately and rapidly. The approaching of an insulator and the wrenching of a nut task is selected as the typical task of the maintenance of active electric power distribution lines in this paper. Image recognition by multilayer neural network and optimal target position calculation method are newly proposed in order to recognize the center 3 dimensional position of the bolt hole in the stand of insulator. By the proposed image recognition method, it is proved that the center 3 dimensional position of the bolt hole can be recognized rapidly and accurately without regard to the pose of the stand of insulator. Finally the approaching and wrenching task is automatically realized using 6-link electro-hydraulic manipulators.

The research of dependency between trigger condition and trigger geometry for triggered vacuum switch

  • The triggered vacuum switch (TVS) discharges high current through two processes. In the first process, an igniting plasma is generated at a trigger system, and the next process that a main discharge is taken place sequentially at a six-gap rod electrode within a few microsecond. In general, a triggered voltage producing the igniting plasma is increased. However, after several hundred shots, it goes down and stable, in our experiment the trigger voltage is about 5 kV after 250 shots. This triggered characteristics comes from the ceramic insulator which is covered by an electrode material, therefore we have focused on the first igniting plasma process. The igniting plasma has been generated at the surface of a ceramic insulator under a strong electric field. The electric field can be increased through modifying geometries of trigger components which compose of a trigger pin, a ceramic insulator and an enclosed holder. We fabricated not only two types of trigger pin which are a plane head and an umbrella head type, but two different holders which are a concave and a convex type. In this paper the result that the dependency of geometries for these four combined types is included, but the study of the ceramic insulator is not. The research of the ceramic insulator will be announced in the other paper.

실리콘 코팅을 이용한 poly(ethylene naphthalate) 고온용 방열 필름의 제조 (Preparation of Poly(ethylene naphthalate) Film Coated with Silicones for High Temperature Insulator)

  • The surface of poly(ethylene naphthalate) film applicable to high temerature insulator for convection microwave oven was modified with silicone coating solutions in the presence of silane crosslinking agent. The structure and properties of the PEN films were investigated by using Fourier transform IR spectroscopy, viscometry, microscopy, and tensile tests. The experimental results showed that the coating with silicone enhanced thermal stability up to $200^{\circ}C$, and slightly lowered the tensile strength and elongation of the PEN films. Judging from dimensional stability results the silicone coated PEN films can not be used for higher temperature insulator above $230^{\circ}C$. Serious dimensional contraction of films was obtained during heat treatment at $250^{\circ}C$ even for 1h. However, the surface of those films still have same chemical structure of silicones. Therefore, If we use PEN film prestretched at $230^{\circ}C$ as base one it will be possible to prepare a high temperature insulator up to $230^{\circ}C$. Conclusively, a silicone coated PEN film can be suitable for the application to convection microwave oven door insulator at high temperature up to $230^{\circ}C$.

  • For detecting of Faulty Insulator, a new Lateral Information Propagation Networks (LIPN) has been proposed. Energized insulator is reduced the rate of insulation extremely, and taken the results dirty and injured. It is necessary to be actions that detect the faulty insulator and exchange the new one. And thus, we have designed the LIPN to be detected that insulators by the real time computation method through the inter-node diffusion. In the network, a node corresponds to a state in the quantized input space. Each node is composed of a processing unit and fixed weights from its neighbor nodes as well as its input terminal. Information propagates among neighbor nodes laterally and inter-node interpolation is achieved. Through several simulation experiments,real time reconstruction of the nonlinear image information is processed.

  • 비세라믹 복합절연소재는 기계적 물성, 환경문제, 대량생산과 용이한 설계등의 우수한 특성으로 인해 전력산업분야에서 관심의 대상이 되어왔다. 또한 세라믹 절연체에 비하여 가볍고, 더욱 강인한 물성을 가진다는 장점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 뛰어난 전기 절연 특성과 우수한 내열, 내산화, 내오존성과 내후성을 가진 ethylene propylene diene monomer(EPDM)를 절연소재로 사용하였다. 특히, EPDM은 다른 고무 복합체에 비해 우수한 소수성을 가지기 때문에 장기간 사용이 가능하다는 점에서 본 연구에서는 EPDM 복합체의 유변학적 물성, 전기적물성, 그리고 접촉각의 측정을 통한 소수성 및 회복력에 관한 연구를 하였다. 또한 SEM을 사용하여 표면 형태학적 연구를 수행하였다.

Characterization of a Solution-processed YHfZnO Gate Insulator for Thin-Film Transistors

  • A solution-processed multicomponent oxide, yttrium hafnium zinc oxide (YHZO), was synthesized and deposited as a gate insulator. The YHZO film annealed at $600^{\circ}C$ contained an amorphous phase based on the results of thermogravimetry, differential thermal analysis, and X-ray diffraction. The electrical characteristics of the YHZO film were analyzed by measuring the leakage current. The high dielectric constant (16.4) and high breakdown voltage (71.6 V) of the YHZO films resulted from the characteristics of $HfO_2$ and $Y_2O_3$, respectively. To examine if YHZO can be applied to thin-film transistors (TFTs), indium gallium zinc oxide TFTs with a YHZO gate insulator were also fabricated. The desirable characteristics of the YHZO films when used as a gate insulator show that the limitations of the general binary-oxide-based materials and of the conventional vacuum processes can be overcome.

  • 자동화 설비 도입으로 생산성이 향상되었지만, 양품뿐만 아니라 불량품 또한 대량 생산할 가능성이 있어서 전수검사가 필수적이 되고 있다. 검사자가 많은 양의 제품을 전수검사 한다는 것은 무리가 따르기 때문에 자동 검사 시스템에 대한 연구가 다양하게 진행되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 컴퓨터 비전을 이용한 자동 시각 검사 시스템으로서 현수애자의 미세균열 자동 검출 시스템을 개발하였다. 현수애자의 미세균열 자동 검사 시스템: 현수애자의 미세균열을 검출하기 위해, 현수애자를 턴 텐이블 위에서 회전시키고, 프로그래시브 스캔 카메라로 애자의 영상을 획득하고, 이 영상을 전처리 하여 그림자, 노이즈 등을 제거하고, 특징을 이용하여 미세균열을 검출한다.

Hybrid Insulator Organic Thin Film Transistors With Improved Mobility Characteristics

  • Hybrid insulator pentacene thin film transistors (TFTs) were fabricated with thermally grown oxide and cross-linked polyvinylalcohol (PVA) including surface treatment by dilute ploymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) layers on $n^+$ doped silicon wafer. Through the optimization of $SiO_2$ layer thickness in hybrid insulator structure, carrier mobility was increased to above 35 times than that of the TFT only with the gate insulator of $SiO_2$ at the same transverse electric field. The carrier mobility of 1.80 $cm^2$/V-s, subthreshold swing of 1.81 V/decade, and $I_{on}$/ $I_{off}$ current ratio > 1.10 × $10^5$ were obtained at low bias (less than -30 V) condition. The result is one of the best reported performances of pentacne TFTs with hybrid insulator including cross-linked PVA material at low voltage operation.
