유아의 구강보건교육 프로그램 개발 (The Development of Preschool Oral Health Education Program)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a standardized preschool oral health education program as one of educational media and to apply it to preschool education. It's ultimately meant to help improve the oral health education policy of the nation toward young children and to provide multiple information on that. The subjects in this study were 250 young children who were at the age of 7 and attended kindergartens in the city of S. To evaluate an oral health education program prepared in the study, the selected young children were taught by using it, and a survey was conducted twice before offering education and three weeks after it to assess their knowledge. Besides, their patient hygiene performance was tested. For data handling, SPSS program was utilized, and in order to see if there would be any changes in their oral health behaviors, statistical data on percentage were obtained and crosstab was employed. To track any possible additional changes in their relevant knowledge and Simplified Oral Hygiene Index, t-test was implemented. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. As for changes in oral health behaviors, there were significant differences in tooth brushing time(p<0.05), tooth brushing method(p<0.01) and toothbrush keeping method(p<0.001) between before and after the education. 2. Regarding changes in oral health knowledge, there was a significant gap between before and after the education(p<0.001). In detail, their knowledge about the cause of dental caries(p<0.05), the right choice of toothbrush(p<0.001) and toothbrushing after meals(p<0.01) became significantly different. 3. There was no gap in patient hygiene performance index between before and after the education. 4. To boost the effect of oral health education on kindergarteners, it seems necessary to give a lecture on oral health, to demonstrate tooth brushing by using dntiform, and to offer instruction by utilizing disclosing solution. 5. Repeated education should be provided on a regular basis by preparing standardized teaching plans tailored to the characteristics of kindergarteners, and a wide variety of teaching materials that could be easy to understand, authentic and provide motivation to them should be developed.

일부 대학생들의 성인건강 교육의 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Educational Effectiveness of Chronic Diseases Among University Students)

  • Korea has been recently reducing the quality of life as well as rising medical cost because of the increase of chronic diseases. But we can prevent those chronic diseases through the improvement of environment or life style. We evaluated the educational effectiveness of chronic diseases(hypertention, diabetes, cancer, stroke and other chronic diseases) designed to increase the knowledge, attitude and practice of chronic diseases among university students. Between August 1994 and November 1994, we implemented chronic diseases prevention instruction in intervention students; unmatched control students were selected in same university. We conducted pre- and post-intervention surveys both intervention and control students with self-reported questionnaires(50 items). We assigned score(0-4 points) to items and conducted a analysis of covariance(ANCOVA) with sex, grade and economic status as the covariate, using the SAS PC computer statistical package. And we culculated odds ratio with safety scores between intervention and control students. The results of this study were followed. 1. In demographic characteristics of subjects both pre- and post intervention, we found no significant differences in intervention and control students at religion, father's education, mother's education, mother's occupation and type of residence(p>0.05), but we found significant differences at sex(p<0.001), grade(p<0.001) and economic status(p<0.05). 2. The sex, grade and economic status-adjusted mean prevention knowledge scores for diabetes and stroke increased from the pre- to post-survey in the intervention students(p<0.001), but control students did not increased(p>0.05). As odds ratios in knowledge were below 1, the knowledge of intervention students were higher than control students. 3. The attitudes for general adult health increased from the pre- to post-survey in the intervention students(p<0.05), but control students did not increased(p>0.05). As odds ratios in attitudes were approximately 1, we can not say effectiveness in intervention students 4. The pratices for cancer and stroke increased from the pre- to post-survey in both the intervention and control students(p<0.001). Also odds ratio of hypertention was 0.91, and that of stroke was 1.14. 5. Health related behaviors did not increased from the pre- to post- survey in both the intervention and control students(p>0.05). But odds ratio of drinking was 0.76 and that of body weight was 1.21. 6. Health status did not increased from the pre- to post- survey in both the intervention and control students(p>0.05). As odds ratio of health status was 1.09, prevention education was not effect in intervention students We would like to recommend as follows; 1. University students must learn about prevention of chronic diseases. Because the knowledge of invetervention students was higher than that of control students. 2. The prevention education of chronic diseases should be taught from primary school. 3. Adult health education for university students must be practiced continuously. Education period(l5 weeks) in this study was not complete. 4. The evaluation of chronic diseases was conducted real measurement(such as BP check) as well as self reported-survey. 5. Educational materials(video tape, pamphlet) related the prevention of chronic diseases should be developed at national level. And we must easely use those materials. 6. The prevention education of chronic diseases should be made through mass media as well as school education.

광고콘텐츠 스토리에 담긴 의도적인 지시체와 융복합적 해석소에 의한 인지적 문화읽기 (Reading Cognitive Culture by Intentional Instruction and Convergence Analysis in Advertising Content Stories)

  • 이 연구는 창조적 광고콘텐츠 제작을 위한 생산자의 스토리 생산체계와 광고 수용자의 의미 해석 과정이 기억원리 및 신념의 형성과 밀접함을 논의하는 것과 동시에 이러한 인지적 해석 코드가 대학생의 올바른 문화읽기를 위한 필수요건임을 규명하는 데 그 목적을 두었다. 설득을 목적에 둔 광고 콘텐츠의 생산은 목표 수용자의 인지원리에 기댄 시대적 사유체계를 우선적으로 파악해야 한다. 간명한 실험 분석을 통해 생산자의 의도된 스토리의 표본이 대학생 수용자가 기억하는 정보들의 단서들과 불일치할 가능성을 확인하는 핵심 단서들을 찾을 수 있었다. 이러한 핵심 단서들을 조합한 의미 분석 도구를 체계화하고 대학생 학습자에게 올바른 시대의 문화읽기를 위한 도구로써 시도해 보았다. 그 결과 대학생 수용자는 광고콘텐츠의 일차적 언어 및 비언어 표현의 단면적 분석이 아닌 자신의 주관적 경험과 신념에 바탕을 둔 새로운 인지적 기호 문화 읽기라는 적극적 의사소통의 한 일면을 확인할 수 있었다. 앞으로 광고콘텐츠 스토리 생산자가 이러한 과정을 미리 확인하는 작업을 가진다면 수용자의 설득에 도움이 되는 성과를 이룰 것이다.

키워드 네트워크 분석과 토픽모델링을 활용한 정보활용교육 연구 동향 분석 (Analysis of Research Trends in Information Literacy Education Using Keyword Network Analysis and Topic Modeling)

  • 본 연구는 키워드 네트워크 분석과 토픽모델링을 활용하여 국내 정보활용교육 연구의 흐름을 살펴보고 향후 정보활용교육의 방향성을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 국내 문헌정보학 분야의 학술지에 게재된 정보활용교육과 관련된 논문 306편을 선정하고, 논문의 초록을 대상으로 전처리 과정을 거쳐 전체 키워드 출현 빈도, 시기별 키워드 출현 빈도, 키워드 동시출현 빈도분석을 수행하였다. 이어서 키워드 네트워크 분석을 통해 키워드의 연결중심성과 매개중심성, 위세중심성을 분석하였다. 또한 구조적 토픽모델링 분석을 활용하여 15개의 토픽(교육과정, 정보활용교육 효과, 정보활용교육 내용, 학교도서관 교육, 정보매체활용, 정보활용능력 평가 지표, 도서관 불안, 공공도서관 프로그램, 대학도서관 이용자교육, 건강정보 활용능력, 정보격차, 도서관활 용수업 개선, 연구 동향, 정보활용교육 모델, 교사 역할)을 도출하고, 토픽별로 비중의 변화를 확인하기 위해 연도별 토픽 추이를 분석하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 정보활용교육의 방향성과 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

중학교 가정과 교사의 교과 관련 자기장학에 대한 수행 실태 (Middle School Home Economics Teachers' Performance Conditions of Self Supervision Related to the Home Economics)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중학교 가정과교사의 교과관련 자기장학에 대한 수행 실태를 알아봄으로써 앞으로의 가정과수업 개선 및 전문성 신장에 도움이 되는 기초 자료를 제시하는데 있다. 본 연구는 설문지법을 사용하였으며 설문지는 이메일을 통하여 전국의 가정과교사에게 발송하였고 총 177부가 회수되었다. 회수된 설문지는 SPSS/Win (ver10.1)프로그램을 이용하여 평균, 표준편차, 빈도, 백분율, t-test, ANOVA 분석을 시행하였고, 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중학교 가정과교사는 실제 자기장학에 대한 계획 실행 평가를 모두 보통 보다 약간 높은 수준으로 수행하고 있었다. 둘째, 중학교 가정과교사는 문헌(서적) 조사나 인터넷 및 대중매체를 활용하여 수업 자료를 수집하거나 제작하는 등의 방법을 통해 교수-학습 방법의 개선과 교과내용학의 심화에 치중하고 있었다. 셋째, 중학교 가정과교사는 가정교과관련 자기장학을 위하여 대중매체를 가장 많이 활용하였고 다음으로 문헌(서적) 조사, 연구회 및 모임 참여, 각종 연수 참여, 현장 견학의 순으로 하고 있었다. 중학교 가정과교사의 절반 이상은 대학원에 진학하였고, 연구회 및 모임에 가입하였으며, 사교육기관의 강의를 수강한 경험이 있었다. 또한 1년에 $1{\sim}2$회 정도 현장견학을 실시하였고, 대중매체 중에서는 일반 TV프로그램과 교육방송을 많이 활용하였으며, 동료 교사와의 정보 공유는 활발하게 이루어지고 있으나, 수업 분석 및 평가와 자원인사의 활용은 매우 미비하였다. 비록 가정과교사들이 교과관련 자기장학을 어느 정도 수행하고 있다고 응답하였으나 이는 응답자의 절반 수준에 불과하고 그 영역이 주로 교수-학습 방법이나 교과내용학 영역에 치우쳐 있다. 따라서 자기장학에 대한 동기를 유발하기 위하여 연구회 및 모임이 활성화되고 다양한 연수 프로그램이 개발되어야 하며, 자기장학의 방법을 구체적으로 소개한 책자 발간이나 지원센터 연구소 등을 통한 행정적 제도적 지원이 모색되어야겠다.

치과위생사의 구강보건지도 실천분석 -진료실내의 성인환자를 중심으로- (An Analysis of the Practices of Dental Hygienists in Offering Oral Health Education -In Case of Adult Patients Visiting Dental Clinics-)

  • The purpose of this study was to serve as a basis for the planning of oral health education and the development of an oral health-promotion program for patients who visited dental clinics by examining how much dental hygienists offered oral health education to adult patients at dental clinics. A parent group was selected, being made up of 1,600 dental hygienists who registered with the Dental Hygienist Association and worked in Seoul. The questionnaire survey was carried out and an ${\chi}^2-test$ was made using the data collected from 218 subjects to determine how their practice of oral health education was different according to certain general characteristics(the sort of organization for which they worked, age, the term of their service, and the mean number of patients per day). As a result, the following findings were obtained: 1. Thees general characteristics made the following differences to the content of oral health, education: The sort of organization for which the subjects worked made a significant difference in the following tooth brushing instruction (p<0.05), the effect of oral prophylaxis or education about aftereffects (p<0.05), the regular examination of prosthesis (p<0.05), smoking-prohibition education (p<0.05), and the prevention poor-quality fillings (p<0.01). The mean number of patients per day made significant differences to the regular examination of prosthesis (p<0.05) and the prevention poor-quality fillings (p<0.01). But no significant disparity was generated by age or the term of service. 2. The general characteristics made the following differences to education about nutrition and diet counseling: The sort of organization for which the subjects worked had a significant effect just on the importance of a balanced menu (p<0.05). Age made significant differences in advice for vitamin, mineral, protein or other nutrients (p<0.01), and the importance of balanced menu (p<0.001). The term of service made significant differences in the importance of balanced menu (p<0.01), and advice for nutrients including vitamin, mineral or protein (p<0.01). 3. The general characteristics made the following differences to the recommendation and use of oral hygiene aids: The sort of oragnization for which they worked made significant differences only to a gingival massager and water pick (p<0.05). No significant difference was produced by age, the term of service or the mean number of patients per day. 4. The use of educational media for oral health was different according to the general characteristics: The use of pamphlets or booklets significantly varied depending on the organization for which they worked and with the mean number of patients per day (p<0.05). The use of slides or slide projectors was significantly affected by age (p<0.05). But no significant disparity was yielded by the term of service. 5. The general characteristics made the following difference as to whether a continued oral management system was carried out or not: The sort of organization for which they worked had very a significant effect on this result (p<0.001), and no significant disparity was made by age, the term of service or the mean number of patients per day. 6. The place where oral health education was giver differed according to the following general characteristics: The sort of organization for which they worked made very a significant difference as to the use of an examination room's dental unit chair or waiting room (p<0.01), and to the use of an oral health education room or reception counter (p<0.001). The term of service had a significant effect on the use of a counseling room (p<0.01). And the mean number of patients per day made significant differences in the use of a dental unit chair or reception counter (p<0.05), and to the use of an oral health education room or waiting room (p<0.01).

신문기사 읽기를 활용한 소집단 의사결정 과정 양상 -기후변화 관련 사회적 논쟁 활동을 중심으로- (The Aspects of Small Group Decision-making Process based on Reading News Reports: Focused on Climate Change related Socio-scientific Issues Activity)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 기후변화 관련 사회적 논쟁 활동에서 신문기사 읽기에 따른 고등학생들의 소집단 의사결정 과정의 양상을 분석하는 것이다. 과학과 관련된 사회적 논쟁(SSI) 관련 수업 맥락에서 학생들이 접하는 정보는 절대적으로 신문이나 TV 등의 미디어 텍스트라는 점에서 텍스트와 의사결정 과정간의 관계를 밝히는 것은 중요한 문제라 할 수 있다. 연구에는 경기도 소재 고등학교에 재학 중인 1, 2학년 학생 22명이 참여하였다. 학생들에게는 유엔 기후변화협약 당사국 총회에 대해 보도한 두 편의 신문기사가 제공되었으며, 파리기후변화 협정에 우리나라가 가입하는 것에 동의하는지에 대한 개인 및 소집단 의사결정을 요구하였다. 신문기사는 비판적 담화분석에 근거해 분석하였으며, 소집단 의사결정 과정은 문제인식과 대안 평가 및 선택에서 드러나는 특징에 주목했다. 신문기사 분석을 통해 기후변화협정은 각국의 경제적 이권과 패권의 추구라는 복잡한 이데올로기가 자리잡고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 한편 소집단의 문제인식 단계에서 기후변화협정에 대해 학생들이 지니는 상이한 프레임과 신문기사가 전경화한 주요 담론은 소집단이 논쟁점을 인식하는 데 주요한 변인이 됨을 알 수 있었다. 대안평가 및 선택 단계에서는 공정성과 공평성이 소집단 토의의 주요한 준거로 작용했는데, 이 역시 신문기사에서 강조된 담론과 일치하는 것이었다. 본 연구는 SSI 맥락에서 타당하고 합리적인 판단을 위해 텍스트를 비판적으로 읽을 수 있는 능력을 길러 줄 과학적 소양 교육의 필요성을 함의한다.
