The purpose of this study was to analyze information about food and nutrition topics presented throughout the television broadcast media, thereby suggest the optimal communication method to give right information to the general public. To perform this study, total sixteen monitoring people were recruited and trained through monitoring practice before and during the study . Five domestic TV channels were selected to be monitored, for six months. For the best efficiency, all the monitoring people were divided into 8 teams based on the regional consideration. The statistical analysis of data was completed using SAS program. The main results of this study are as follows. First, the total reporting cases of information about foods and nutrition were 237 , among which about 30% was classified as appropriate and 70% as inappropriate based on the trained monitors' evaluation. Second, the analysis of contents about incorrect informations showed that the insufficient descriptions of terminology and contents were the highest. And insufficient scientific evidences, incorrect contents excessively entertainment-oriented, no provision of alternatives , improper selection of expert advisors were followed. These results suggest that systematical monitoring should be continued to reduce the frequency of incorrect communication thereby give the right information in food and nutrition area to the general public. And there should be a closely cooperated system to provide the professional information to broadcasting production team by establishing the strategic program. In order to do that, most importantly the advisory team should be organized to professionally connect mass media to corresponding specialists. In addition, more educational programs about food and nutrition should be developed to provide right information to the general public.

교량 건전성 모니터링은 응답 데이터를 활용한 구조모델링기술, 신호분석, 정보처리 기술의 발전에 따라 손상추정 및 안전성평가와 함께 중요한 연구주제로 부각되었다. 교량 모니터링 시스템은 일반적으로 센서, 데이터 취득장비, 전송시스템 등과 같은 하드웨어와 신호처리, 손상추정, 전시 및 데이터 관리 등과 같은 소프트웨어로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 교량의 건전도 모니터링을 위한 정보처리기술에 대한 연구 개발 활동을 정리하였다. 교량 건전성 모니터링의 과정에 대한 간단한 소개와 함께, 다양한 신호처리 및 손상추정 알고리즘을 포함한 정보처리기법에 대해서 소개하였다. 현 교량 건전성 모니터링 시스템에서의 주요 문제점과 향후 연구개발활동을 논의하였다.

본 논문에서는 이기종 분산 컴퓨팅 환경에서의 관리 대상이 되는 시스템이나 애플리케이션들의 정보 모델을 동적으로 재구성하는 통합 관리/모니터링 시스템을 개발한다. 다양한 플랫폼 위에서 동작하는 하위 시스템들이 추가, 제거, 수정되는 상황에서 분산시스템을 효과적으로 관리하기 위해서는 분산 시스템의 형상과 통합 관리/모니터링 시스템의 정보가 일치해야 한다. 이에 시스템의 형상이 변화되었을 때, 시스템의 변경된 형상과 통합 관리/모니터링 시스템의 정보가 동기화되어야 하며, 동기화가 수행되는 동안 시스템은 정지 없이 모니터링 정보를 사용자에게 제공할 수 있는 가용성이 보장되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 관리 대상인 하위 시스템에서 하드웨어나 소프트웨어의 형상의 변경이 있을 때 변경 내용을 통합 관리/모니터링 시스템에 통보하고, 통보된 정보를 바탕으로 관리 대상인 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어의 정보들을 동적으로 재구성 하는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 통해 어떤 이기종 분산 시스템도 통합 관리/모니터링 시스템에 반영하여 신뢰성 있는 통합 관리를 수행할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

최근 무선 모니터링과 하이브리드 모바일 웹 분야가 성장하는 연구 분야가 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 센싱 데이터의 모니터링을 위한 모바일 웹 시스템의 설계와 개발에 대한 내용을 다룬다. 센싱 데이터의 전송을 위한 모바일 웹 모니터링 시스템은 8-bit AVR 마이크로컨트롤러와 블루투스 통신모듈을 사용하여 구현한다.

This growth if WWW(World Wide Web) with the spread of ADSL provides us with a variety of service that are the extensions of opportunities to get information. a various education methods by remote courses and electronic commerce. Remote Monitoring Server(RMS) that uses internet and WWW is constructed for chip mounter. Hardware base consists of RMS, chip mounter and C/S server. In this paper, we realize the remote management system with monitoring and diagnosis function to efficiently operate chip mounter the one of PCB assembly equipment. The remote management system for chip mounter consists of RMS(Remote Monitoring Server) and C/S server. RMS manages real-time information from chip mounter through TCP/IP. RMS that utilizes real-time information informs user of the actual output the operation status of chip mounter, user of the actual output, the operation status of chip mounter, the trouble code and the trouble description.

In highly reliable and durable systems, failures due to aging might result in catastrophes. Aging monitoring techniques to prevent catastrophes by predicting such a failure are required. This paper presents a scan-based on-line aging monitoring scheme which monitors aging during normal operation and gives an alarm if aging is detected so that the system users take action before a failure occurs. We illustrate our modified scan chain architecture and aging monitoring control method. Experimental results show our simulation results to verify the functions of the proposed scheme.

온실가스(green house gas: GHG) 감시는 지구의 기후변화를 방지하기 위해 필수적인 수단이 되고 있다. 기존 연구에서 글로벌 인프라인 NGN(next generation network)을 통해 온실가스감시를 수행하기 위한 서비스 시나리오가 제시되었으나 추상적인 단계에 머무르고 있어서 실제로 NGN에 적용하는 데에는 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 NGN 내에 탑재될 기능들을 중심으로 온실가스감시서비스 시나리오를 제시하여 실제 NGN에서 적용이 가능하게 하기 위한 기반을 제공한다.

For the application of monitoring system of the machine tool to industry, the requirements such as high reliability and low cost need to be satisfied. In this study, a reliable but inexpensive monitoring method for machine tool is introduced. To improve the monitoring reliability, several kinds of information related to machining and operation are selected; real-time video clip from USB camera, operation data and signal from CNC and feed motor torque. Especially, to improve the quality of real-time video clip, a camera housing is developed, it can significantly reduce the vibration effect and prevent from coolant and chip. The collected information are transferred to the monitoring terminals in remote sites using OPC and TCP/IP protocol over Ethernet, which give us convenience of development and interoperability.

차세대 정보전에서는 자신의 정보 시스템에 대한 침해방지, 복구 등의 수동적인 형태의 보호뿐만 아니라 상대방의 정보 기반구조(Information Infrastructure)에 대한 공격과 같은 적극적인 형태의 보호가 요구된다. 침입이 발생함과 동시에 시스템에 대한 피해를 최소화하고 침입자 추적 등의 즉각적인 대응을 하기 위해 정보보호시스템이 인간의 개입없이 자동적으로 대응하는 기능을 제공할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 자기확장 모니터링 기법과 이를 기반으로 설계된 침입자동대응 모델을 제시한다. 또한 제안된 모델에 의해 설계, 구현된 침입자동대응 시스템인 ARTEMIS(Advanced Realtime Emergency Management Identification System)를 소개한다. 자기보호 기능을 가진 모니터링과 복제를 이용한 자기확장 모니터링은 모니터링 정보수집과 침입자 추적에 대한 공간적인 제약을 최소화하여 침입탐지와 침입자 추적의 정확도를 높인다.

In this paper, monitoring processor in a circuit switched network is considered. Monitoring processor monitors communication links, and offers a grade of service in each link to controller. Such an information is useful for an effective maintenance of system. Two links with nonsymmetric system Parameters are considered. each link is assumed independent M/M/1/1 type. The Markov process is introduced to compute busy and idle portions of monitoring processor and monitored rate of each link. Inter-idle times and inter-monitoring times of monitoring processor between two links are respectively computed. A recursive formula is introduced to make computational procedure rigorous.
