This paper proposes an efficient algorithm which recognizes the mixed document image consisting of the images, texts, tables, and straight lines. This system is composed of three steps. The first step is the detection of rotation angle for complementing skewed images, the second is detection of erasing an unnecessary background region and last is the classification of each component included in document images. This algorithm performs preprocessing of detecting rotation angles and correcting documents based on the detected rotation angles in order to minimize the error rate by skewness of the documentation. We detected the rotation angie using only horizontal and vertical components in document images and minimized calculation time by erasing unnecessary background region in the detecting process of component of document. In the next step, we classify various components such as image, text, table and line area included in document images. we applied this method to various document images in order to evaluate the performance of document recognition system and show the successful experimental results.

It expected a lot of changes in mass media and documentation expression as documents on web are getting diverse, complex and massive. An Annals of The Chosun Dynasty is a very important document used for researching historical facts and is published as CD-Rom. However. The CD-Rom was composed as content-based and using simple search method, therefore it's very difficult to make determine event-relationship between documents factors. Because of that, we studied to discover event-relationship between documents through clustering and efficient similarity method among Annals of The Chosun Dynasty. For the research method, we discovered the best similarity method for historical written documents through simulation similarity measures of Annals of The Chosun Dynasty documents. Then we did simulation-clustering documents based on similarity probability. In evaluation of the clustered documents , the results were the same as when manually figured.

This study drew four essential literacies for adult's daily life through analyzing the concepts of the 'skill' in PIAAC, and also investigated current literacy programs for adult users in Korean public libraries. Finally on those results, this study suggested a literacy program model with an illustrated action plan for adult users of pubic libraries. A suggested model is planed an intergrated program that make users can acquire four essential literacies through participating in a single program. This model is characterized by self-directed learning by the users and can be applied freely to various subjects and user groups. The model consists of six components and seven steps. Six components are target, theme, strategy, tool, material, assessment. Seven steps are targeting, selecting theme, strategy planning, documentation, action, assessing. This model is named $6{\times}7$ model on the basis of components and steps.

Dispatch of ROK Armed Forces is a significant contemporary event that enhances the ROK's position in the international communities and ensures the solid national security by contributing international peace keeping operations. Indirectly, dispatch of armed forces also can contribute to strengthen the national defense. However, despite its importance, record management related to the dispatch is not done properly. Because variable records produced in the process of dispatching troops are transferred to distributed archives, searching or accessing each record is not easy and making a collection from a series of record related to certain dispatch is more difficult. Moreover, since most transferred records were produced in the public domain, production and management of record in the aspect of archive of everyday life is needed. In this paper, we summarize the current state of domestic records by dispatch procedure, organization, and dispatched troops. And we also explore the problem of record management.

Intermodal or transfer facilities is always necessary wherever different modes meet at one place and exchanges of passengers among the modes take place. Design of intermodal or transfer facilities requires a careful consideration of numerous legal and technical factors. This study intends to suggest the fundamental principles needed for design the intermodal facilities to enhance the level-of-service for transfer passengers as well as the efficiency of operation. Previous studies and relevant legal documentation are reviewed and examined. Steps in the design procedures are suggested, and data necessary for designing the facility is suggested. The above principles are applied to the real design of Busan KTX station in order to identify the problems.

Digital documentation is now becoming a must throughout a building process including design, construction, inspection, procurement and even facility management. The Internet is a backbone of such process, and web-based information exchange is the standard among other mainstream technologies. The current information management techniques, however, is heavily dependant on the server-side processing, which naturally results in the overload of the overall system. This paper proposes an XML-based approach in order to resolve such problems. A VE system was developed to demonstrate the efficiency of the XML solution, in term of efficient VE data management and fast decision making. also in this paper suggests 1) introduce XML based DBMS to improve data management efficiency and 2) introduce Mobile Computing to improve data accessibilities on sites.

EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) has been widely utilized to support Business Activities since it has such advantages as fast transfer of information, less documentation work, efficient information exchange etc. Recently e-business environment has urged the traditional EDI system to be changed to ebXML framework. To apply the ebXML framework to a certain industry, it is required to implement Business Process (BP), Core Component (CC), Collaboration Protocol Profile (CPP), Collaboration Protocol Agreement (CPA), Messaging system etc. We have selected the port and logistics industry as a target domain to apply ebXML framework, since the EDI usage ratio of it is relatively higher than other industries. In this paper, we have analyzed the current status of EDI system and transaction processes in the port and logistics industry. We have defined the business process that will be registered in the registry/repository, the main component of ebXML framework, using UN/CEFACT modeling methodology. And Business Collaborations, Business Transactions, Business Document Flows, Choreography, Pattern, etc. are represented using UML according to UN/ CEFACT modeling methodology, to apply ebXML Framework to the port and logistics distribution industry. Also we have suggested the meta methodology for applying the ebXML framework to other industries.

Based upon XML, a standard document format on the web, there have been many active studies on e-Commerce, wireless communication, multimedia technology and so forth. JML is an XML application suitable for understanding and reusing the source code written using JAVA for various purposes. And it is a DTD which can effectively express various information related to hierarchical class structures, class/method relationships and so on. This paper describes a tool which generates JML document by extracting a comment information from Java source code and information helpful for reusing and understanding by JML in terms of the reverse engineering and a tool which generates a skeleton code of Java application program from the document information included in the automatically or manually generated JML document in terms of the forward engineering. By using the result of this study, the information useful and necessary for understanding, analyzing or maintaining the source code can be easily acquired and the document of XML format makes it easy for developers and team members to share and to modify the information among them. And also, the Java skeleton coed generated form JML documents is a reliable robust code, which helps for developing a complete source code and reduces the cost and time of a project.

The architectural drawing, construction project specification, etc. are included in the contract of a documents. However, construction project specification, for being documentation, is not utilized to such an extent. The reason is that specification information is difficult in collecting information in relation to the architectural drawing, material finishing list and other architectural information. Therefore, an integrated model, which can be associated with other architectural information, is needed, and a DB based on this integrated model must be established in order for it to be utilized in design, construction, and management. The DB, which is established through this process, must be updated according to modification in design, and construction. Furthermore the specification must be in document on the web for reference. Consequently in this research, the structure of integrated model has been introduced, and it has made the search and preparation of the integrated model on the Internet, using the specification information DB established for the mutual reference of DB, possible. The improvements of construction project specification standards are expected by this system. Also, it will bring about Improvements upon claim prevention, and design, construction, management qualities. Furthermore, it will make the use of information more convenient in practical business such as order agency, design service and building site.

In this paper, since most business process of D-agency is being performed through some information systems, including Onnara System is a government standard operating management system, computerized accumulated in the system documentation based on, even if there is no independent job analysis system, in a judgment that can be can be tissue diagnosis, it presented a job analysis plan that leverages the existing information system. Most material is passed online in business processing between departments and between colleagues, it is returned. In situations where most information systems for such business processing is built developed, grasp the work procedures and information systems D-agency data accumulated to derive the necessary elements for job analysis quantified, and verified the validity of the element in the regression statistics.In addition, classification system (BRM, Business Reference Model) of the existing functionality that is available only Onnara System, and to establish a job analysis architecture to be able to function diagnostic departments to leverage common also in other information systems, related implement illustrating additional features of the information system, to derive a department duties value calculation formula with it, and present various job analysis plan that can actually be utilized to diagnose and derived elements department appropriate personnel.
