Teachers' responsiveness variables consisted of acceptance, sensitivity, consistency, warmth and teachers' strategies of problem behavior guidance variables consisted of positive proactive strategies, positive reactive strategies, negative reactive strategies. Subjects were 151 early childhood teachers in Seoul and Chungcheungnam-do. The collected data were analyzed using simple regression and hierarchical multiple regression. The main results of this study were as follows. Teachers' acceptance, sensitivity, consistency, warmth were positively related to teachers' positive proactive strategies and positive reactive strategies of problem behavior guidance. On the other hand, teachers' warmth was negatively related to teachers' negative reactive strategies. As results of examining relative effects of teachers' responsiveness on positive proactive strategies of problem behavior guidance, the influential variables were warmth and acceptance. The relative effects of teachers'responsiveness on positive reactive strategies of problem behavior guidance, the influential variables were sensitivity and acceptance. The relative effects of teachers' responsiveness on negative reactive strategies of problem behavior guidance, the only influential variable was warmth.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to study the job satisfaction and influential factors of clinical nurses. Methods: Data were collected using questionaires from 323 nurses who were working at hospitals located in M city. For data analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan test, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression were used. Results: The means of self-esteem, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction were 3.01, 3.23, and 3.04, respectively. There were statistically significant correlations among self-esteem, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction. Significant predictors of job satisfaction were organizational commitment and education opportunity. These two factors accounted for 50.9% of variance in job satisfaction of the nurses. Organizational commitment was the most influential variable. Conclusion: In rapidly changing environments, hospital system has been transformed into a highly complex and specialized structure. To manage human resources and reduce turnover rates, it is necessary to develop a strategy for nurses to improve the levels of self-esteem, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction.

  • This study has made an attempt to analyze the determinants of Foreign Direct Investment (FFI) by Korean Fishery firms. The questionaire survey on individual firm's recognition and the determinants of Foreign Fishery Investment (FFI) was performed, yielding the following results. First, the main object of FFI is to reserve fishing ground. The result of the statistical analysis shows that import ratio for domestic market (DOM) is a significant variable of FFI. These two facts indicate our FFI is resouree-oriented in terms of the object and motive. Second, FFI is primaily determined by firm-related factors rather than country- related factors. The significant variable in firm-related factfors is the number of departments of the investing firm (DEPT). Another notable result is that fishing fee is not an influential variable in FFI decision.

  • The recent emergence of electronic commerce could provide different opportunities to small firms in overcoming part of their technological, environmental, organizational, and managerial inadequacies. However, recent research provided a gloomy picture about electronic commerce uptake and use in small firms. Until now few small flrms adopted electronic commerce. This phenomenon gives us several implications. One of the implications is a need to generate more research to small firms' uptake and use of electronic commerce. So, this research aims at what is determinants in small firms' adoption of electronic commerce, especially business - to - business(B2B). Several previous studies were identified various influential variables in adoption of small firms' electronic commerce. To some extent, by industries these variables may be different in influencing B2B adoption of small firms. This study selected fishery industry's wholesale firms as survey domain. Then, It selected some variables from previous studios and group them in several factors for consistently comparing variable's influential power. Through hierarchical influencing model of B2B adoption, managers who worked for fishery wholesale firms were surveyed. Among the first level's factors of the model, business factor was identified as the statistically most influential factor in B2B adoption. Technological factor and environmental factor at the frist level were identified as relatively less influential factors. Among the second level's factors of the model, it was statistically significant only that technological usefulness factor was more influential than technological burden factor in B2B adoption. And among the third level's factors of the model, it was identified that formal plan and task team for B2B, top management support, and mutual beliefs of inter - firms were statistically more influential than related variables in B2B adoption. These results give us some implications. First, fishery wholesale firms recognized B2B as a new business paradigm, and technological problems as not obstacles in adopting B2B. Thus it would be possible to activate the fishery B2B if they were guided to getting B2B benefits and B2B's relative advantages. Second, they considered the power of influential factors might be different by B2B stages. That is, top management support was more important in the B2B introduction stage, and formal plan and task team for B2B and mutual beliefs of inter - firms were more important in the B2B operation stage.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to study the acceptance of disability and influential factors between hemiplegic elderly and non-elderly after stroke. Methods: Data were collected with questionnaires from 104 elderly and 134 non-elderly with hemiplegia. Data were analyzed by $x^2$-test, t-test, ANOVA, ANCOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. Results: Significant predictors of acceptance of disability were family support, activities of daily living, and age, and these factors accounted for 24.2% of variance in acceptance of disability in the hemiplegic elderly. On the other hand, the significant predictors were family support and employment, and these factors accounted for 32.3% of variance in acceptance of disability in the non-elderly. Family support was the most influential variable in both the elderly and the non-elderly. Conclusion: An acceptance of disability program for the hemiplegic elderly should be designed differently from that for the non-elderly.
