It is a method of suppressing back ground subsidence by re-injecting groundwater back to the target ground and recovering the underground water level. In order to analyze the subsidence of the back ground due to maintaining the underground water level, indoor model experiments were conducted. Through this study, the factors influencing on the groundwater and the tendency of subsidence back ground by experiments were analyzed and the effect of ground subsidence by reinfusion of groundwater was also investigated. As a result of the subsidence analysis with considering only the influence of the underground water level, the settlement of the ground occurs as the underground water level at the time of ground excavation goes down. The closer to the back of the retaining wall, the maximum settlement occurred. Moreover, it was analyzed that the influence distance where subsidence occurs from retaining wall to the point of about 1.8 H on the basis of the ground collapse. The most effective location of water reinjection is the closet location to the back of braced-cut wall for reducing the groundwater down and also minimizing the ground settlement.
The major influencing factors on the strength of all-ceramic crowns are types of dental ceramics, fabrication techniques, methods of abutment preparation and cementation modes of all-ceramic restorations. Zinc phosphate cement and glass-ionomer cement were used as an early lot-ing media for all-ceramic crowns. Recently many studies have reported that resin cements have more advantages in increasing the fracture strength of restorations comparing with zincphosphate cement and glass-ionomer cement. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of etching, silane treatment, sandblasting and dentin bonding agents on fracture strengths of dental ceramics. 40 flat dentin specimens and 40 ceramic discs of 1.5mm thickness and 8mm diameter were fabricated, and divided into 4 groups according to surface treatments. Surface treatments before cementation were as follows Group I : (ceramic) : HF etching - silane treatment - application of bonding resin (dentin) : application of dentin bonding agent Group II : (ceramic) : sandblasting - application of bonding resin (dentin) : application of dentin bonding agent Group III : (ceramic) : application of bonding resin (dentin) : application of dentin bonding agent Group IV : (ceramic) : HF etching - silane treatment - application of bonding resin (dentin) : no dentin bonding procedure Dentin specimens and ceramic discs were cemented with dual cure resin cement, and went through thermocycling. Compressive stress es were loaded on the centers of ceramic discs with Instron test-ing machine, and fracture strengths resistance for catastrophic fracture were measured The results were as follows. 1. The group I showed the highest fracture resistance. The next was group II And group III, IV followed. 2. There was a significant difference in the mean value of fracture strengths between group I and group III (p<0.05), but no significant differences between group I and group II, and group II and group III (p>0.05). 3. There was a significant difference in the mean value of fracture strengths between group I and group IV (p<0.05).

The Purpose of this study was to observe the body temperature changes of newborn infants in general crib and electric heat crib after birth for the period required to reach the optimum body temperature. Forty-seven newborn infants who were delivered at Seoul National University Hospital during the period from June 12 to September 13, 1973 were chosen as Subjects for this study. The criteria for the choice of subjects were the babies with normal spontaneous delivery; body weight 2.5kg and over at birth; Apgar so ore seven and over and gestation period over thirty-six weeks. Of these subjects, by random sampling thirty-one newborn infants were placed in the general crib and sixteen in the electric-heat crib. The rectal body temperature of these newborn infants were taken and recorded at fifteen-minute interval for the first one hour period after birth, at thirty minute interval for the next two hours and at one hour interval for the remaining period up to eight hours. The results of the study were as follows: 1. The mean body temperature of the newborn infants on admission to nursery ranged from 98.7℉. to 99℉. irrespective of the body weight and the room temperature. 2. There was a significant difference in the body temperature changes of the newborn infants as a total between the general crib and the electric-heat crib from three to eight hours after birth. It was found that the body temperature of the newborn infants in the electric-heat crib was significantly higher than that of the newborn infants in the general crib. 3. In comparison with the body temperature changes of the newborn infants in the general crib, the newborn infants in the electric- heat crib exhibited significantly higher body temperatures in all three body weight groups; from four to eight hours after birth in the 2.5-2.9kg body weight group; from three to seven hours after birth in the 3.0-3.4kg body weight group; from two and half to six hours after birth in the group with body weight over 3.5kg. 4. Time required to reach 98℉. of body temperature was four hours in the 3.5-2.9kg body weight group, three hours in the 3.0-3.4kg. body weight group and two and half hours in the group with body weight over 3.5kg in the electric- heat crib. In the general crib, it took over eight hours in the 2.5-2.9kg body weight group and five hors in both the 3.0-3.4kg and over 3.5kg body weight group to reach 98℉ of body temperature. 5. The lowest mean body temperature of newborn infants in both general and electric- heat crib appeared in forty-five minute after birth and the temperature ranged from 96.4℉ to 96.5℉. 6. The mean body temperature of the newborn infants in the general crib was increased as the room temperature. 7. The body weight, the room temperature and the time elapsed after birth fore proved to be significant factors influencing the body temperature changes of newborn infants. From tile above results, the three hypotheses were positively accepted.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among self-leadership, critical thinking disposition, satisfaction of clinical practice and clinical practice competency of nursing students. Participants were 199 baccalaureate nursing students (3rd and 4th grades) in 2 cities. The data was collected by questionnaires and were analyzed with the SPSS/Win 21.0 program, using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Significant positive correlations were among self-leadership, critical thinking disposition, satisfaction of clinical practice and clinical practice competency. The regression model explained 30.4% of satisfaction of clinical practice. The significant predictors of satisfaction of clinical practice were clinical experience, satisfaction of major, self-leadership and critical thinking disposition. The regression model explained 23.7% of clinical practice competency. Health status, self-leadership and critical thinking disposition were factors influencing clinical practice competency. It should strengthen self-leadership and encourage critical thinking disposition to improve nursing students' satisfaction of clinical practice and clinical practice competency.
In recent years, national health insurance(NHI) coverage had been expanded gradually for cancer as a severe disease requiring high level of medical expenditure, to reduce patient's financial burden. But, subjective burdens level for out-of-pocket(OOP) money expense are still considerable owing to high medical cost and decent numbers of services not covered by benefit plan. This study aimed to investigate OOP medical expenditures and identify factors influencing subjective financial burden in cancer patients. A 28-items questionnaire for self-reporting by responders was designed to satisfy study goal and finalized following by one pilot study and experts' verification process. Subjects were enrolled during July to October 2010 through regular meetings organized by five patient or patient-advocacy groups had acknowledged the study purpose. Subjects who aged 20 or more, have histories of cancer diagnosis and anticancer drug use, and voluntarily agreed to participate in this study were recruited. Total 107 subjects included in the analysis have cancer lesions in breast, colon, kidney, liver or stomach at the stages from I to IV. Approximately 73% of them has passed less than 5 years since cancer diagnosis. For the OOP medical expenditure regarding cancer, less 6 million won was in 31%, 6-15 million won in 35% and more than 15 million won in 28% of responders, and more than half responders(58%) felt financial burden subjectively. 63% of responders had subscribed commercial insurances, resulting in money receipts of more than 10 million won since cancer diagnoses in 76% of responders. Logistic regression results showed significant differences in subjective OOP financial burden level depending on gender, household income level, benefit type, commercial insurance money receipt degree, year cancer diagnosed, cancer lesion, therapy type, duration of anticancer drug use, drug listing in national formulary, total OOP medical expenditure and total OOP anticancer drug expense. They had mixed feelings both wishes to expand NHI coverage to reduce financial burden(70%) and no willingness to increase premium(59%). This result suggested that NHI might direct future strategies to reduce absolute total OOP medical cost and expand benefit plan coverage in higher burden groups in particular.
The approaches in many design codes for the estimation of the deflection of flexural reinforced concrete (RC) members utilize the concept of the effective moment of inertia which considers the reduction of flexural rigidity of RC beams after cracking. However, the effective moment of inertia in design codes are primarily based on the ratio of maximum moment and cracking moment of beam subjected to loading without proper consideration on many other possible influencing factors such as span length, member end condition, sectional size, loading geometry, materials, sectional properties, amount of cracks and its distribution, and etc. In this study, therefore, an experimental investigation was conducted to provide fundamental test data on the effective moment of inertia of RC beams for the evaluation of flexural deflection, and to develop a modified method on the estimation of the effective moment of inertia based on test results. 14 specimens were fabricated with the primary test parameters of concrete strength, cover thickness, reinforcement ratio, and bar diameters, and the effective moments of inertia obtained from the test results were compared with those by design codes, existing equations, and the modified equation proposed in this study. The proposed method considered the effect of the length of cracking region, reinforcement ratio, and the effective concrete area per bar on the effective moment of inertia, which estimated the effective moment of inertia more close to the test results compared to other approaches.

This paper aims to examine the evolutionary dynamics of the Korea's footwear industry by adopting evolutionary perspectives. To explain the evolutionary dynamics of an industry, evolutionary perspectives have paid a particular attention to exploring a variety of factors for influencing the evolution of the industry, such as the selection and imitation of the firm, the mechanism of firm's entry and exit, technological characteristics and innovation processes. The majority of existing research tend to explain that the decline of the Korea's footwear industry since 1990 was mostly due to the rapid rising of wage and the structural changes in labor-intensive industries. On the contrary, this paper attempts to explain the decline of the Korea's footwear industry, in terms of the path of selection and imitation, the dominant technological paradigm, regulatory frameworks and the meso trajectory of industry evolution. This paper concludes that the decline of the Korea's footwear industry since 1990 was appeared as a result of the evolutionary selection processes of the firms in order to adapt to changes in the environment of competition and the regime of market selection in the global footwear industry.

The purpose of this study is to investigate some Influencing factors related to the wealth perception and property increase of 519 women in Seoul. The research was conducted from the end of February 15 to the beginning of January 20, 2009. The figures obtained were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, x-test, t-test, F-test, chi-square, and Duncan's F-test with SPSS pc+ The major findings of who study are summarized as follows: l.There were significant differences between the wealth recognition (economic plan affirmative and negative perception of wealth) for women according to social and psychological variables; economic plans have a higher value for married women, older women, those who have followed a postgraduate university course, those with higher income and expenditure, higher life satisfaction, and high and middle satisfaction with their economic life. In particular, economic plans varied significantly according to expectation of wealth in old age, and future economic prospects in the middle group. 2. Increased wealth and economic according to social and psychological variables (marital status, age, education, income, expenditure, life satisfaction, satisfaction with economic life, expectation of wealth in old age, future economic prospects) were shown to be associated with the following methods of increasing property: use of savings banks (p<.001) showed a rate of deposit of 20%-40% (p<.001) saving and thrift was a practice (p<001) that was related to the cost of living; and education expenditure (p<.001) as a property preparation period was exhibited in women aged 25-30 (p<.001). 3. There were significant differences in the recognition of wealth according to strategies for increasing wealth. There were no significant differences between mean of property acquisition and point of expenditure or the property preparation period in the perception of wealth. The related variables in rate of deposits were under 20% according to economic plan and negative wealth perception. In contrast, in the middle and high group, the economic plan and negative wealth perception were 20%-40% in relation to the rate of deposits. Variables related to the action of saving and thrift and property acquisition were practiced in the low and middle group of affirmative wealth recognition and the high group of negative wealth perception. The high group for wealthrecognition and the low group for wealthnegation exhibited little savings, thrift, and property accumulation. Those variables which point an expenditure the cost of living were education expenditure in all groups of negative wealth perception. The women in the study practiced more soundness economic planning according to their increased wealth and economic strategy. This study suggests that women should have positive wealth perception in their lives.
