국부 통계조사자료를 이용한 자산별 경제적 감가상각추정에 대한 연구 (Estimating Economic Service Life of Assets by Using National Wealth Statistic)

  • The purpose of computing economic depreciation value is to find valuation of assets closely in line with market prices. The valuation of industrial assets are called Engineering Valuation. The two representative techniques for such valuation are Hulten-Wykoff Method, which estimates real value using regression equations, and T-factor Method devised at Iowa State University. The two are all empirical methods for computing service life (duration period). In this paper, we derived the service life by empirical methods using national wealth statistics, and also by more conventional methods such as original group method and retirement method. The results from each method are compared with one another. We also computed economic service life from these results. In S. Korea where amount of asset value statistics is still insufficient, the most effective method for empirically computing economic service life turns out to be the one using national wealth statistics. In addition, we also present economic relationship between depreciation value computed by using Hulten-Wykoff Method and depreciation value computed by using T-factor Method.

  • 통계청에서는 서비스업 총 조사를 매 5년을 주기로 실시하는데, 가장 최근의 서비스 산업 총 조사는 2001년에 실시되었다. 본 연구에서는 2001년에 조사된 사업체별 통계를 기업의 규모에 따른 기업체별 통계로 전환하여, 서비스 산업에서 중소기업이 차지하는 비중을 추정하는 새로운 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 통해 중소기업의 전반적인 현황을 파악하는데 많은 도움이 되리라 기대한다.

  • Records of industrial accidents are essential to maintain efficient and successful safety programs. The objective of this study is to examine the trends of industrial accidents in manufacturing industry, based on the national statistics. From 1972 to 1994, statistics of industrial accidents were extracted from the annual publications of Ministry of Labor. The results show that there are significant characteristics and trends in the records of industrial accidents. These findings identified in this study can be used to manage the accident prevention efforts.

  • We show the cumulants of a minimal sufficient statistics in k parameter natural exponential family by parameter function and partial parameter function. We nd the cumulants have some merits of central moments and general cumulants both. The first three cumulants are the central moments themselves and the fourth cumulant has the form related with kurtosis.

  • In this paper Bayes estimator of the parameter and reliability function of the zero-truncated Poisson distribution are obtained. Furthermore, recurrence relations for the estimator of the parameter are also derived. Monte Carlo simulation technique has been made for comparing the Bayes estimator and reliability function with the corresponding maximum likelihood estimator (MLE) of zero-truncated Poisson distribution.

  • Selection procedures are proposed for selecting the 'best' industrial process with the smallest fraction defective. For normally distributed industrial processes, this is equivalent to selecting in terms of coefficients of variation. For the case of known vairances, selection procedures by Bechhofer (1954), and Bechhofer and Turnball (1978) are appropriate. We treat this problem for the case of uknown variances with or without reference to a standard. The large sample solutions of design constants are tabulated and the performance of these approximate solutions are investigated.

  • Recently, management based on statistical data has become a big issue and the importance of the statistics has been emphasized for the management innovation in the defense area. However, the Military Management based on the statistics is hard to expect because of the shortage of the statistics in the military. There are many military information systems having great many data created in real time. Since the infrastructure for gathering data form the many systems and making statistics by using gathered data is not equipped, the usage of the statistics is poor in the military. The Analytical Defense Statistics System is designed to improve effectively the defense management in this study. The new system having the sub-systems of Data Management, Analysis and Service can gather the operational data from interlocked other Defense Operational Systems and produce Defense Statistics by using the gathered data beside providing statistics services. Additionally, the special function for the user oriented statistics production is added to make new statistics by handling many statistics and data. The Data Warehouse is considered to manage the data and Online Analytical Processing tool is used to enhance the efficiency of the data handling. The main functions of the R, which is a well-known analysis program, are considered for the statistical analysis. The Quality Management Technique is applied to find the fault from the data of the regular and irregular type. The new Statistics System will be the essence of the new technology like as Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Data Standardization and Statistics Analysis and will be helpful to improve the efficiency of the Military Management.

우리나라 산업재해 통계자료의 재해 구성 비율의 분석에 관한 연구 (An Analysis of Accident Ratio of Korean Industrial Accident Reports)

  • The production activity by human is accompanied by various accidents, resulting in human and property loss. If information on these industrial accident can be collected, organized and analyzed for a period of time and be used in the decision-making process for the purpose of preventing industrial accident, we will be able to get rid of industrial accident and prevent human and property loss and creat a pleasant industrial atmosphere. In order to achieve this goal, the collected information should be accurate, and trusted in the work place or government agency the information is being utilized. This research analyzed the problem in our nation's industrial accident statistics and estimated the number of accidents that are occurring and suggested improvement measures so that the industrial accident statistics can be calculated accurately.
