The purpose of this study is to reviews the Chinesm expressed in the modern fashion world after the year 2000, and underlines the characteristics of Chinesm, as the Chinese fashion market is getting bigger and becomes the cynosure of the world. The method of this study is by research on precedence as well as related researches in Korean and foreign books. The results were as follows. First, the Chinesm recreates the historic motive which is the traditional costume, ornaments, or make-up etc. to maintain the harmony between the modernity and the past, preventing from following or mimicking. Second, the Chinesm expresses the combinational and harmonious manner with the combined image on the Chinese original symbolic factors mixing with the foreign spatial-temporal elements, the various styles of wear and decoration, and the different images to have the natural or equivocal relationship with one another. Third, The Chinesm magnifies the feminine atmosphere to express the sensual image by using effectively the traditional design factors, which is tight silhouette, coverture, and exposure. Fourth, the Chinesm professes the pro-naturalism embracing the human without conflicting with the human nature. It seems possible on the new value mixed with colors, materials, or patterns, etc.

In this paper, we propose a novel generator architecture for multi-domain style transfer method not an image to image translation, as a method of generating a styled image by transfering a style to the content image. A latent vector and Gaussian noises are added to the generator of GAN so that a high quality image is generated while considering the characteristics of various data distributions for each domain and preserving the features of the content data. With the generator architecture of the proposed GAN, networks are configured and presented so that the content image can learn the styles for each domain well, and it is applied to the domain composed of images of the four seasons to show the high resolution style transfer results.

AI image generation technology has become a popular research direction in the field of AI, which is widely used in the field of digital art and conceptual design, and can also be used in the process of 3D texture mapping. This paper introduces the production process of 3D texture mapping using AI image technology, and discusses whether it can be used as a new way of 3D texture mapping to enrich the 3D texture mapping production process. Two AI deep learning models, Stable Diffusion and Midjourney, were combined to generate high-quality AI textures. Finally, the lmage to material function of substance 3D Sampler was used to convert the AI-generated textures into PBR 3D texture maps. And applied in 3D environment. This study shows that 3D texture maps generated by AI image generation technology can be used in 3D environment, which not only has short production time and high production efficiency, but also has rich changes in map styles, which can be quickly adjusted and modified according to the design scheme. However, some AI texture maps need to be manually modified before they can be used. With the continuous development of AI technology, there will be great potential for further development and innovation of AI-generated image technology in the 3D content production process in the future.
This research was designed to find out what is a distictive feature of the design elements of Korean women's costume and its influence by analizing the trend of Korean women's constume during the period of 1890 and 1995. The research was analized by a total of 854 random samples of clothing styles collected from materials in the museums and from articles of three leading newspapers and one of the best women's magazines in Korea. The changing trend of Korean women's costume was found out to be as follows: 1. In around 1910s, the trend of Korean women's costume has been changed into two-tier structure of both Korean and Western styles, and the typical and traditional Korean women's street wears such as 'Chang-ot' and 'Tsdechima' have been gradually diminished. 2. From 1920s, length of the Korean skirt, which was unnecessarily long and inconvenient, has been getting shorter for the convenience of walking. In addition, Korean women's underwear has become simplified, and sports wear could be seen for the first time in Korea. 3. During 1960s, the Western clothing styles have been increased rather than Korean styles as the street wear of the Korean women. 4. In 1970s, blue jeans, mini-skirts and casual wears have become a trend or fashion for women in Korea. 5. In 1980s, a fashion of unisex mode has arrived in this country, and from the year of 1987, wearing of panties among the Korean women has been increased rather than skirts wearing for the street wear. 6. During 1990s, various forma of complex styles came into being in such styles as so-called 'orange class style,' 'protruding navel T-shirts' and 'runner wear speedy.' From mid-1990s, Korean women have turned out to prefer the cute and light costumes by placing emphasis on the image of intellectual, professional and functional wears. The changing special feature of the Korean women's clothing designs could be distinctively observed during 1960s as the modernization policies in Korea have been processed during the period. The clothing trend before 1960 was to change and to solve problems of inconvenient and impractical wears, but the trend after 1960 was seen as a change to confirm a trend of the world fashion. From mid-1990s, however, preference of Korean women's self-conceited conception socially and an unquestionable changing pattern of Korean women's life.
Animation documentary is a hybrid genre that is newly highlighted with opposite properties. The actual world is reproduced with an unrealistic method in documentary aspect, but the objectivity of documentaries cannot be guaranteed as the boundary of actual pictures and digital images has become ambiguous. As the animation documentary by Ari Folman succeeded in 2008, the focus of this study is on 'how can fictional animations prove the authenticity of documentaries?' in which the study is mainly conducted in documentary aspect. For this, the researcher considers visual style research has important role in understanding and developing a new video genre, and asserts the necessity of research on reproduction image that is produced by the characteristics of animation which is produced in frame units. This paper has contents on the visual style of animation documentaries with pictorial reproduction methods in which animation images were classified into 3 styles based on previous research on animation documentary style. Visual styles are classified into actual image that is based on similarity with reality to deliver objective facts, image that is transformed through emphasis and omission which are factors of animations, and surrealistic image that reproduces non-visual regions such as illusions and the inner side of characters. Through this study that analyzes visual style types and characteristics, animation documentaries are expected to position as a hybrid genre that illustrates reality with a new method instead of being included in the existing reproduction method of documentaries.
This study provides a systematic investigation about objective personal image consulting, tool development and image-making research by analyzing the status of the Korean image-consulting industry and education. For the research, we carried out literature surveys of books on image consulting and previous research reports. In particular, we surveyed image consulting businesses that have internet web sites, and educational institutes. The results of the survey are as follows: First, domestic image consulting businesses in Korea are investigated about 93 private companies and 4 associations. They do the image making, color consulting, and education for individuals and business. Second, professional image consulting education is carried out not only in the 93 private companies, but also in the continuing and professional studies for adults of 10 universities. Furthermore, more then 90 universities have specific academic programs related to the image consulting such as facial management, beauty coordination, cosmetology, stylists, fashion events, broadcasting stylists, and so on. Third, a typical image consulting job is the personal shoppers who assists VIP customers in department stores. Professionals and politicians have personal fashion stylists for their image making. Today, the job has expanded to public fashion therapist. Fourth, the contents of an image consulting education have appeared in similar industries and educations. These contents include fashion styles, personal color analysis, make-up, facial expressions, gestures, perfumes, accessories, etc. This study is based on research on the current Korean image-consulting industry, and will enable follow-up details to be implemented. using the basis of this study for a strategic self-image formation system.

Personal image concerns a person's talent, expertise, as well as the internal and external image. It is a core value that differentiates one individual from another. As personal branding via personal image management has become more important, there is a fast-growing number of online systems that provide self-test programs to analyze one's style and habits and also provide expert advice for not only styles but lifestyles as well. This study develops a systematic and objective personal image consulting system and offers basic information for the research of personal image making. For that purpose, the study attempts to examine the present state of global companies that use online image consulting programs and analyze their digital content. The results are as follows: 1) two domestic companies, Colorz and Atzine, and seven foreign companies, notably Covet and Boutique, were brisk in business; 2) two types of personal image-diagnosis programs - Visual search and Virtual matching - are now in operation; and 3) mobile applications exist as an evolved personal image-diagnosis program. With an increased interest in such programs, various companies at home and abroad are establishing systematic and scientific analysis systems, which are needed for personal image-making online. Under these circumstances, domestic companies are also urged to enhance levels of image-diagnosis content and actual commercialization and utilization, to develop programs that enable objectified, systematic personal image-making. To this end, the results of this study may serve as a helpful tool to consider future directions.
This study aims examine specific image preferences through selected fashion style and evaluation terms. Therefore, this study provided basic information in order to help select a suitable fashion style within a desired image. As times are changing, most people obtain information about fashion through the use of the Internet by utilizing mobile phones and personal computers and less through magazines, newspapers and so on. When people buy clothes, they seem to be more influenced by the design and color than by price and quality. It is not perceived important for buying like company, advertising, the place of purchase etc. The results of the analysis reveal the structural elements of an image having a sense of fashion style and can be categorized as a natural image, romantic image, elegance image, casual image and avant-garde image. Among the six fashion styles, the natural image is regarded the highest A style. The romantic image is the highest B style and elegance image is the C, D, E style. The casual image is the highest F style and avant-garde image is a D style. In regards to appropriate fashion style by ages, the twenty-something population is investigated in finding a fit that is lively and vibrant in style while the thirty-something population is perceived to identify with a more feminine style. The forty-something population has shown to prefer a more luxurious style. Through this observation one can see that there is a distinction is fashion style between ages.
This paper is purposed to clarify that an increase of the matter of concern about men's fashion in the mid-1980s was coincided with rapid change of images for men and diversification within the context of economy, society, culture and to analyze the characteristic of each fashion and the meaning. Findings are as follows: 'New men' played a key role creating and communicating the new male image through the media, as a new masculine appeared in the middle of 1980s. Especially it was spreaded into with British as a center between the generations of young men described as a white-collar worker about the ages from 18 to 35 specifically and appeared by the cultural background in accordance with the spread of consumerism, materialism and post modern feminism and the development of men's fashion. There were 2 types of fashion styles for 'New men' image on the media in the mid-1980s. The First is 'power suit look style' which is self-conscious, including 'corporate formal suit look' and 'soft & sexy suit look'. The Second is 'extravagant body conscious style' which characterize the decolletage and androgynous, including 'tough sports look' and 'sexy skirt look'. Lastly, the 'New men' image means a man as a visible object and a man in the image world.
The purpose of this study is to find out the color preference on rural rooftop color. Today, public profit value of a rural community has been heavily recognized in the areas of preservation of pro-environmental and traditional life styles and foundation of collective community. Comparatively with urban, rural town conserves the scenic of those days when the historic landscape existed. Therefore, elements of historic and tradition in rural town are interesting resources to people who want traditional experience. Color is one of the most influenced elements for the image of Landscape. On the other hand, radical modernization has brought conflicting color element that does not blend with existing environmental color. Among others, roof represents one of the important traits of rapidly developing rural community due to vast amount of space it covers. In order to come up with more appropriate coloring scheme, it is necessary determine color that forms a balance with present conditions of rural life and historic landscape. This study provides more objective rooftop coloring selection process by employing additional surveys regarding color image adjective. I justified necessity of the balance between environmental color and roof color through analyzing correlation between environmental color of the rural town and Color Image Scale of the preliminary selection of roofs.
