In this paper, the electrical characteristics of fabricated p+-n junction diode are demonstrated and interpreted with different theoretical calculations. Dopants distribution by boron ion implantation on silicon wafer were simulated with TRIM-code and ICECaEM simulator. In order to make electrical activation of implanted carriers, thermal annealing treatments are carried out by RTP method for 1min. at $1000^{circ}C$ under inert $N_2$ gas condition. In this case, profiles of dopants distribution before and after heat treatments in the substrate are observed from computer simulations. In the I-V characteristics of fabricated diodes, an analytical description method of a new triangular junction model is demonstrated and the results with calculated triangular junction are compared with measured data and theoretical calculated results of abrupt junction. Forward voltage drop with new triangular junction model is lower than the case of abrupt junction model. In the C-V characteristics of diode, the calculated data are compared with the measured data. Another I-V characteristics of diodes are measured after proton implantation in electrical isolation method instead of conventional etching method. From the measured data, the turn-on characteristics after proton implantation is more improved than before proton implantation. Also the C-V characteristics of diode are compared with the measured data before proton implantation. From the results of measured data, reasonable deviations are showed. But the C-V characteristics of diode after proton implantation are deviated greatly from the calculated data because of leakage currents in defect regions and layer shift of depletion by proton implantation.
A commutative ring with unity R is called an EM-ring if for any finitely generated ideal I there exist a in R and a finitely generated ideal J with Ann(J) = 0 and I = aJ. In this article it is proved that C(X) is an EM-ring if and only if for each U ∈ Coz (X), and each g ∈ C* (U) there is V ∈ Coz (X) such that U ⊆ V, ${\bar{V}}=X$, and g is continuously extendable on V. Such a space is called an EM-space. It is shown that EM-spaces include a large class of spaces as F-spaces and cozero complemented spaces. It is proved among other results that X is an EM-space if and only if the Stone-Čech compactification of X is.
The annealing effects of Au/Te/Au/n-GaAs structure was investigated by using x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, the specific contact resistance and I-V measurement. Increasing the annealing temperature, the intensity of Au-Ga peak by X-ray diffraction was increased. The Ga$\_$2/Te$\_$3/peak got evident for the samples annealed at 400.deg. C and GaAs peak by recrystallization appeared for the samples annealed at 500.deg. C. The variation from the schottky to low resistance contact was confirmed by I-V curve. The lowest value of the specific contact resistance of the samples annealed at 500.deg. C was 3.8*10$\^$-5/.ohm.-cm$\^$2/ but the value increased above 600.deg. C.
To investigate the mechanisms involved in hemin-induced febrile response, the rectal temperature of rats were measured after intracerebroventricular (i.c.v.) injections of hemin, with or without antagonists. Hemin ($10\mu\textrm{g}$) elicited a significant febrile response, which lasted from 30 min, to more than 6 h, after its administration, but this was not the case with biliverdin (i.c.v.) and bilirubin (i.c.v.). The hemin-induced febrile response was significantly inhibited by pretreatment with an inhibitor of tyrosine kinase (genistein), but not by pretreatment with an inhibitor of protein kinase C (chelerythrine) and a scavenger of iron (deferoxamine). These results suggest that tyrosine kinase is involved in the hemin-induced febrile response.

We examined the effect of the subcutaneous (s.c.) pretreatment of formalin into both hind paws of mice on the antinociception induced by the intracerebroventricularly (i.c.v.) or intrathecally (i.t.) administration of ${\beta}$-endorphin using the tail-flick test. Pretreatment with formalin ($5\%$) for 5 h had no affect on the i.c.v. administered ${\beta}$-endorphin-induced tail-flick response. However, pretreatment with formalin for 40 h attenuated the tail-flick inhibition induced by i.c.v. administered ${\beta}$-endorphin. This antinociceptive tolerance to i.c.v. ${\beta}$-endorphin continued up to 1 week, but to a lesser extent. Pretreatment with formalin for 5 and 40 h significantly reduced the i.t. ${\beta}$-endorphin-induced inhibition of the tail-flick response, which continued up to 1 week. The s.c. formalin treatment increased the hypothalamic pro-opiomelanocortin (POMC) mRNA level at 2 h, but this returned to the basal level after 40 h. Our results suggest that the increase in the POMC mRNA level in the hypothalamus appears to be involved in the supraspinal or spinal ${\beta}$-endorphin-induced antinociceptive tolerance in formalin-induced inflammatory pain.

The antinociceptive effect of nicotine administered intracereboventricularly (i.c.v.) or intrathecally (i.t) in several pain models was examined in the present study. We found that i.t. treatment with nicotine (from 5 to 20 g) dose-dependently blocked pain behavior revealed during the second phase, but not during the first phase in the formalin test. In addition, i.c.v. treatment with nicotine (from 0.1 to $10\;{\mu}g$) dose-dependently attenuated pain behavior revealed during both the first and second phases. In addition to the formalin test, nicotine administered i.c.v. or i.t. attenuated acetic acid-induced writhing response. Furthermore, i.c.v. or i.t. administration of nicotine did not cause licking, scratching and biting responses induced by substance P, glutamate, TNF-${\alpha}$(100 pg), IL-$1{\beta}$(100 pg) and INF-${\gamma}$ (100 pg) injectied i.t. The antinociception induced by supraspinally-administered nicotine appears to be more effective than that resulting from spinally administered nicotine. Our results suggest that nicotine administration induces antinociception by acting on the central nervous system and has differing antinociceptive profiles according to the various pain models.
From July 1975 to March 1984, 16 patients of complex congenital cardiovascular anomalies associated with left superior vena cava were seen at Han-Yang University Hospital. The age of patients was ranged from 2 to 15 years-old. The distribution of Sex was 7 patients in male, 9 patients in female. Persistent Left Superior Vena Cava [L.S.V.C.] was classified according to the proximal connection of L.S.V.C. into 3 groups. Group I which L.S.V.C. connected to coronary venous sinus was in 9 patients, Group II which L.S.V.C. connected to Left atrium was in 5 patients, Group III which L.S.V.C. hemodynamically connected to right atrium was in 2 patients. Pathoanatomical findings of complex congenital cardiovascular anomalies associated with L.S.V.C. in 16 cases were generally show unsystematic irregularity. In group I, A.S.D. were only in 3 cases, but in highest incidence and in group III, all two cases were supracardiac type of total anomalous drainage of pulmonary veins. Post-operatively, 3 patients among 14 patients of total correction, were died immediately, 1 patient of palliative shunt operation was died after 2 and half years, and Follow-up results of other remaining patients were excellent.

Let M = {1, 2, ${\ldots}$, n} and let V = {$I{\subseteq}M:1{\in}I$}. Denote M\I by $I^c$ for $I{\in}V$. The goal of this paper is to investigate the solution and the stability using the alternative fixed point of generalized cubic functional equation $ \sum\limits_{I{\in}V}f(\sum\limits_{i{\in}I}a_ix_i-\sum\limits_{i{\in}I^c}a_ix_i)=2{^{n-2}{a_1}}\sum\limits_{i=2}^na_i^2[f(x_1+x_i)+f(x_1-x_i)]+2{^{n-1}{a_1}(a^2_1-\sum\limits_{i=2}^2a^2_i)f(x_1)$ in ${\beta}$-Banach modules on Banach algebras, where $a_1,{\ldots},a_n{\in}\mathbb{Z}{\backslash}\{0\}$ with $a_1{\neq}={\pm}1$ and $a_n=1$.
4H-SIC(silicon carbide) MESFET large signal model was studied using modified Materka-Kacprzak large signal MESFET model. 4H-SiC MESFET device simulation have been conducted by Silvaco's 2D device simulator, ATLAS. The result is modeled using modified Materka large signal model. simulation and modeling results are -8V pinch off voltage, under $V_{GS=0V}$, $V_{DS=25V}$ conditions, $I_{DSS=270㎃}$mm, $G_{m=45㎳}$mm were obtained. Through the power simulation 2GHz, at the bias of $V_{GS=-4V}$ and $V_{DS=25V}$, 10dB Gain, 34dBm(1dB compression point)output power, 7.6W/mm power density, 37% PAE(power added efficiency) were obtained.d.d.d.
We reinvestigate UV line emissions of 44i Boo, W UMa, AW UMa and VW Cep, which are indicaters of chromospheric activity of these stars. C I, C II, C IV, Si IV lines show significant variation in orbital phase. Among those lines, the Line of C IV showed the strongest line flux. while other Si IV and N V lines showed relative low line intensities. 44i Boo emitted the strongest flux than other stars. UV light curves of target stars shoed UV maximum at phase around 0.2 an 0.8 Such UV emissions are generally believed to be observed at the active regions and contacting parts of the two stars due to the clear visibility at the phase 0.2 and 0.8. Total emissivity of four transitions lines lead to conclude that the activity of this region is 40 times larger than the quiet sun. It is obvious that the activity decrease according to increase period. We obtained also Mg II light curve of AW UMA and VW Cep. These stars showed more clearly phase-dependent light curves. We estimated effective temperature of two star, AW UMa and VW Cep, using by Mg II flux.
