Parents' beliefs about what child's qualities are associated with success in school were studied among Korean and Western society communities' parents. Parents from all groups agreed that four domains of a child's characteristics(cognitive qualities, social qualities, negative temperament, and dutifulness) had the major impact on school success, either positively or negatively. Parents from all groups indicated that non cognitive qualities were important or more important than cognitive factors. Cultural differences were found in the way the qualities clustered together and in the emphasis parents placed on specific qualities or domains of qualities.

The changing pattern of living and communication, combined with wireless technologies has given rise to more fluidity between spaces and relationships. Despite this, the way we use technology and the qualities of product and service are limited. For example, ON or OFF is like BLACK or WHITE, it presents a harsh distinction This severity in definition can make me uncomfortable when using products. The aim of this project is to improve the use of a product's functions and Qualities. As an example, the switch button has limited the possible interaction of a product. even each function is different. 1 intend this study is to imbue the switch with a greater freedom of interpretation. What will happen If I create a journey in between on and off\ulcorner For instance, time, pattern, state, rhythm and so on are analogue properties of a switch. The playful, spontaneous, and enjoyable behaviour of a switch will be able to bring other qualities of function and service. The switch will then be able to be an object with more human qualities, not simply an on and off button.

This study analyzed variables that affect children's leadership qualities. The subjects were 400 five-year-old children and their mothers living in the Seoul metropolitan area. The instruments used in this study were the Young Children's Leadership Scale (Kim, 2006), Temperament(Hong, 2008), Peer Interaction (Choi, 2004), Mother's Verbal Control Modes(Do, 1997), and the HOME instrument (Rhee and Jang, 1982). The data collected was analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analysis. Our results indicated that (a) girls' scores on leadership were higher than those of boys. (b) Boys' leadership qualities were related to children's temperament, peer relationship, maternal verbal control modes, and home environment. (c) Girls' leadership qualities were related to children's temperament, peer relationship, and home environment. (d) In particular, it was noted that children's temperament (in terms of their sensitivity/endurance) was the strongest predictor for leadership qualities in both boys and girls.

Tradition is defined as cultural qualities of a regional social group a race, which is transmitted from generation to generation through history. Its contents include human behavior as well as the outcomes from the human behavior and a culture is materialized by means of fullfil fundamental aspiration, in order to co-exist human being and society.This research has considered an architectural space which both show a Korean traditional architecture and modern architectural space, incliding Korean nature under a sort of cultural expression.Also, expressive qualities which are shown within a space as a medium, there is more consideration of method to embody Korean nature into an interior space.There is a subject related to traditional expression of what the real essence of tradition is. In addition, it is a matter of what the method of expression is in order to accomodate, inherit and express the pulse of tradition.

Near future dynamics of water qualities (nutrient concentration) of the Han River was predicted, based on a mathematical model representing the relationship between the nutrient concentration in th river wagter and environmental factors (population density, land-use types, rock compositions and nutrient accumulation) in the basin. The population density and land-use types were forecasted to change distinctly in the downstream area, especially in Seoul City area in 1985~1990 whereas any environmental factor was not expected to change its level significantly in both upstream and middle reaches areas. It was indicated by the model that the nutrients concentration in the up- and mid-streams would keep its level in future as it was, but it would increase drastially in the downstream area. For the preservation of the water qualities in the downstream at least to keep its level as it was in 1980, practical countermeasures were proposed, based on the assessment of the contribution of each environmental factor to the water qualities.

This study examined the effectiveness of micro-current stimulation (MCS) to improve the facial skin qualities by performing clinical test. The MCS is generally known that provide healing response in the damaged tissue and pain relief through activating the adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and protein synthesis. In here, we can hypothesize that the improvement of facial skin qualities may occur due to MCS, since the induction of micro-current from outside may enhance the cellular activity according to ATP activation. From the clinical test, our results showed that a variety of evaluating categories, which is able to assess the skin qualities, significantly enhanced due to stimulation of micro-current after 7 and 14 days. Therefore, we can estimate that MCS in human facial skin may be effective to improve the skin qualities.

Human sensibility ergonomics is the technique that qualities man's sensibility, measures and evaluates it Quantitatively and makes man's life comfortable, safe and delightful by applying it to products or environmental projects. This study consider the sensibility factor of Sasang constitutional medicine, five elemental properties, and Biorhythm in terms of human sensibility ergonomics. And this study measure reaction-time dependent on a temperament or a state and evaluate the differences of reaction-times objectively with the comparison and analysis using the ANOVA. We can harness it for job design.

세계적으로 항공기 사고의 통계적 분석에 의하면 항공기 운용자의 인적과실(Human error)로 인한 항공기 사고가 약 70% 이상으로 보고되고 있다. 항공기 운용자의 인적과실에 기인한 요인들 중에서 운용자의 작업량, 작업공간, 작업환경, 인체크기, 인체 생리, 인간 심리 및 습관 등을 항공기 설계단계에서 고려하지 못한 요인이 대부분이다. 일반적으로 항공기 비행품질(Flying qualities)의 영향을 주는 설계분야는 크게 세가지로 항공기 형상(Configuration), 조종체계(Control system)및 조종실 배치(Cockpit layout)로 분류된다. 이들 세가지 설계분야 중에서 조종실의 운용자 인간공학적인 요구 사항을 고려하지 않으면 항공기 운용성 품질중에서 삼분의 일이 감소될 수 있다. 그리고 항공기 개발시에 전담하는 항공기 설계 분야별로 구분하고 그 전담설계 부서들과 인간공학적 조종실 설계 전담 부서가 항공기 비행 품질 및 운용자 인적과실(Human error)에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 인간공학의 중요성을 강조한다. 항공기를 개발할때에 개발자는 그 항공기를 운용하는 운용자의 인체, 생리, 심리, 습관 등을 고려 하여 항공기 조종실의 인간공학적 최적화 설계 및 배치 (Design and layout)를 개발초기단계부터 항공기를 설계할때에, 그 항공기의 조종실 품질은 조종사가 항공기 비행 임무를 수행할때에 항공기 비행을 위한 용이한 정보 인식(Sencing), 용이한 정보 결심(Deciding) 및 용이한 조종(Manipulating)의 특성을 조종사에게 제공할 때 항공기 비행 품질이 좋아질 것이다.

As the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, each university and the Korean government has opened a variety of convergence curriculum to foster human resources capable of actively adapting to the paradigm shift and raising creative capacity. It is necessary to analyze the factors affecting the satisfaction of the new curriculum and to continuously improve the curriculum. The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences of factors affecting student's satisfaction about convergence curriculum composed of three sub - processes with different contents of business according to the necessity. The measuring instrument was a factor analysis using the SERVQUAL - based satisfaction survey tool. The field of regional studies has developed various programs. In the process of human fusion and human intensification, the qualities and trust of teachers are important.

This study is to suggest a new method of analyzing personality types of characters in narrative. First, we examined the history of the taxonomy of character types that existed in narrative theories so far. Until now, the classification of character types in narrative theory consisted largely of a formal classification based on roles in narrative, a content classification based on human internal qualities, and a complementary classification in which the two classification criteria are united. The problem with the existing character classification type is difficult to categorize it in spite of the usefulness of the content classification based on human internal qualities. On the other hand, the classification based on the role of the character in the narrative does not help as much as a practical analysis methodology because the classification is formal. In this study, we try to solve this problem by introducing Shalom Schwartz's human value type, and to make human character's value type and human role correlated with each other as a new character analysis methodology. Schwartz's study of value type is a very effective method to grasp the motivation of human behavior, and it seems to be very meaningful in analyzing the directivity of characters.
