  • As the data storage device market demands higher data transfer rate with higher track density. TMR budget is to be tighter so that even minor improvement is sought in HDD development fields. Disk flutter associated with the turbulent air flow inside the chamber becomes of great interest for the reduction of PES especially at OD. A comparative transient turbulent flow study is presented in this paper for the reduction of disk flutter with different housing designs.

  • This study shows how community can support the work-family balance and stimulate efforts of community within it. For this purpose, community concepts are defined and its demands and resources are compared with those of work and the family, Furthermore, it will examine the conditions which individuals, couples and neighborhoods need for work since the family balance is examined through the family-friendly community index. Various examples of volunteer activities or movements within the community that will support the work-family balance of the neighbors are also demonstrated. Also, the alternatives fur healthy family support activities in Korea are suggested.

  • In urban life, an interest in safety and demands for safety information about crimes and traffic are increasing. As well, communication on the internet is so active. In this study, we analyze web sites in US, UK, and JP, which have started safety map services, and then we provide basic material for the introduction of safety map into Korea. According to the analysis result, in US and UK, the safety map web sites are administered by the government and provided to the general public. The geographical area is provided around administrative districts and statistical data. In JP, The safety map web site provide not a one sided service but the service that user can directly take a part in, and also there is an web site for crimes against vulnerable people.

  • After 1980's, as economy was rapidly grown and real estate market was active, greatly increased in population has been supplied to the city. Accordingly, national apartment house market is located in the form of Urban Housing Culture. However, as time goes by the apartment houses where the supply of mass became superannuated and residential environment became poor. So, the environment of old apartment houses has been changed to improve with reconstruction. It has been changed in response to the demands of the times. It is one of essential part in a remodeling field for the future although it has some problems in the way that uses existing buildings.

  • Designing of the apartment house in present has been contributing to private unit reflected demands and characteristics of residents. However, common space hasn't been designed in various ways compared to unit. Though the main entrance is place to link inner space and out space, to make resident identity and to communicate with neighbors, It has been produced the same type. The space design in 21st century is focusing on contents of space with the development of techniques, and we need to find applicability of new design related to digital technology in apartment house. The purpose of this study is to find applicability of interaction design at main entrance in apartment house for improvement functions of entrance. The results of this study were as follows; The main entrance is possible more active place through the interaction design that would be satisfied with residents needs and functions.

  • Today, augmentation of industrial wastes with industrial development demands diminution and recycling technical development for industrial wastes reduction. A statistical research of industry and constructional wastes as a request of the times can achieve the conservation of resource and the protection of environment. The ultimate object of the study is not only diminution and recycling of industrial wastes but also the degree of self-sufficiency in resource and the attainment of comfortable life environment, which can the accomplish the resource circulation system and make progress into the environmentally advanced country. The object of this investigation is industrial classification, a waste discharge quantity, a waste sort, waste disposal of industrial wastes in Yeung-nam area. The investigation of special quality in industrial wastes can be used to establish a wastes management policy and a disposition method .

  • 우리나라는 공동주택 관리에 관한 규칙에 의거하여 하자보수 보증금을 예치하고 이를 기반으로 공동주택 입주자들의 하자보수 요구에 대응하고 있다. 현재 민간주택사업자들의 경우 막대한 시간과 비용을 들여 구축한 자사의 브랜드 이미지 고수를 위하여 자신들이 건설한 주택의 품질확보 및 A/S에 큰 노력을 기울이고 있다. 그러나 현재 하자보수에 투입되는 비용중에는 순수한 하자보수에 투입되는 비용이외에 단지내 미화 등 입주민들의 비합리적인 요구사항에 투입되는 비용 또한 있는 것이 사실이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 39개단 단지를 대상으로 하자보수에 투입되었던 실적자료를 근거로 실제로 하자보수에 투입된 하자성비용과 단지내 미화 등 하자보수와 연관성이 적은 기타비용인 민원성 비용의 사용실태를 분석하였다. 분석결과 하자성비용과 민원성 비용이 거의 비슷한 비율을 차지하고 있으며, 민원성비용이 오히려 높은 결과를 보였다. 이러한 분석결과는 입주자들의 비합리적인 요구 및 주택사업자들의 근시안적인 대처에 기안하는 것으로 사료된다.

  • Various environmental problems due to the rapid industralization and urbanization have been worsened as much as to threaten the environmental restitution of globe and become a critical international issue. Korean government presented the green growth as a new state vision for 60 years afterwards and is making efforts to solve the environmental problems. Daegu metropolitan city has faced various environmental problems including overpopulation of cities, traffic pollution, household wastes and green zone problem because of urbanization for the last decades. As such urbanism continues, the quality of residential environment is rapidly deteriorating and the intensive use of land leads to increase of building area raising the temperature of cities. Therefore there have been demands for the healthy, pleasant and satisfying residential environment and the improvement of residential environment and such recognition rises from society in full measure. Nevertheless the current residential complex concentrates only on raising the efficiency of land use. Related laws in the past(Daegu Metropolitan City, Urban Planning Municipal Ordinance as of October 10, 2003) tried to prepare a standard to segmentalize the building-to-land ratio, floor area ratio and regulations of number of floors vertically, but currently it is abolished and the regulations are becoming eased. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of the floating wind before and after the vertical segmentation of residential areas(Daegu Metropolitan City, Urban Planning Municipal Ordinance as of October 10, 2003) by using KLAM_21, a model that enables analysing and predicting the flow and generation of clod wind, and to present a plan to improve the quality of residential areas afterwards when developing building lot and re-developing housing areas.

조세담보금융을 활용한 신도시 광역교통시설설치비용 조달효과 (Effects of Financing the Cost of Metropolitan Transportation Facility using TIF)

  • 수도권 신도시가 도입된 이래 신도시 분양가는 지속적으로 상승하였는데, 그 주된 원인 중의 하나는 광역교통시설 설치비용의 과도한 부담이다. 광역교통시설은 신도시 외에도 그 인근 지역이 사용하는 시설임에도 불구하고 지자체의 부담 없이 사업자에게 전가되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 동탄신도시를 사례로 광역교통시설의 통행수요 분석을 통해 지자체와 사업자간 합리적인 비용분담구조를 도출하고 그 재원을 조달하기 위한 방안으로서 조세담보금융(TIF)의 적용방안을 제시하였다. 통행수요 분석결과, 신도시 기점 가중통행량 비율은 35.1%로 나타났으며, 이에 따라 지방정부가 부담해야할 사업비는 약 8000억원으로 도출되었다. 이와 같은 규모의 재원을 재산세만을 활용해 지자체가 조달하기 위한 TIF 운영은 적어도 20년의 조달기간과 부동산가치 증가율 2%가 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.
