As a result, color showed the characteristics of achromatic, vivid and neon colors, multi-color and gradation, multi-color due to reflected light, and color conversion. As for the form, a body-concious look or exaggerated silhouettes, spatial expressions in geometric structures, forms imitating living things, and fluid silhouettes using clouds were prominent. Materials showed the digitization of universal clothing materials, application of industrial materials, use of metal materials, and unrealistic materials. In the patterns, geometric abstract patterns, patterns that reveal the digital world view, and moving fluid patterns appeared. The aesthetic characteristics of futurism in virtual fashion were revealed in four categories: visual dynamics, high-tech sensibility, variability, kineticisim. Visual dynamics were revealed in geometric forms, and intense neon colors. High-tech sensibility was prominent in the use of metal and industrial materials, light emission, and patterns of the digital world view. The expression of multiple colors by reflected light and the change showed the variability of futurism. The use of unrealistic materials, such as clouds and fire and fluid silhouettes expressed kineticisim. Third, department store attributes are identified into four factors, product assortment, quality per price, service, and symbolic image, while internet shopping mall includes assortment & convenience, quality per price, and symbolic image. High involvement group again presents higher mean scores on each retail attribute factor than low involvement group. Finally, quality per price is the most significant variable to explain the purchase intention at department store among three market segment, whereas assortment & convenience and quality per price are important predictors to increase purchase intention at internet shopping mall. However, relative importance of each attribute variable is different among three involvement groups.

  • Transfer printing is a method to combine printing and dyeing technology by the use of sublimation. It is an environmentally-friendly printing method that saves costs, reduces the production processes by the omission of the washing process, and saves time by maintaining quality. Due to the development of transfer printing, a high value added printing technology is available now but color fastness to sublimation of the printing products is still low since there are few dyes that have an affinity to the fabrics and the application technology is still inadequate. Specially, in case of high concentration black dyes, eco-label type black dyes, which is a substitution for general dispersal dyes, have been developed while general dispersal black dyes are still used, creating issues such as color differences on the surface and back side of the fabrics and contamination by friction after transfer printing. There are also some restricted substances such as allergens. To address these issues, high concentration black dyes and application technology that are environmentally-friendly and that have over 16 K/S through the use of single dyes with excellent color fastness, fixation ability, and similar melting temperature were developed for this study.
