This study aimed to investigate the effects of science classes applying round robin strategy on scientific communicative competence, science learning motivation and academic achievement of elementary students. The number of participants were 126, 4 classes of 6th grade in C elementary school in B city. The experimental group, 2 classes including 63 participants, had science classes applying round robin strategy. While the comparative group, 2 classes including 63 participants, took ordinary teacher-driven lessons using teacher's guidebook. Pre and post tests were done before and after intervention to assess the changing in each group's scientific communicative competence, science learning motivation, and academic achievement. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: The science class applying round robin strategy showed significant effect on improving scientific communicative competence and science learning motivation and academic achievement of elementary students.

In light of changes in today's medical environment, whether to dismantle the 50-year-old internship training system in the Republic of Korea is under debate. Although the question remains open, discussions on such issues have drawn attention to the quality of the clinical clerkship and student career advisory programs in medical colleges. The purpose of this study is to analyze the experiential clerkship and career exploration issues. Ensuring excellence of the clerkship and career advisory sessions is an essential responsibility of educational institutions regardless of whether the intern training system is dismantled. Important objectives of the experimental clerkship include reinforcing prerequisites established by law, introducing a student practice license, developing a standardized clinical assessment and student portfolio requirement, and publishing a guidebook for clinical directors. For career exploration, it is necessary to broaden participants' experiences of specialties and to manage the variety of student career guidance programs. It is imperative for the Korean Association of Medical Colleges, in collaboration with medical colleges, to play a leading role in focusing more attention and effort on such issues.

Adverse drug reactions (ADR) including allergy are more preventable if patients recognize. This study was to investigate ADR recognition by patients who visited one university hospital located in Seoul, by face-to-face or telephone interviews using questionnaires. Recognitions, understandings, and managements on ADR in 225 adult patients enrolled in this study, were compared between ADR experienced group (n=89) and no-experienced group (n=137). Common knowledges and direct experiences on ADR were attributable to high perceptions on ADR, and lacking of active communications with clinical professionals to manage ADR was shown. In general, there were no significant differences in ADR perceptions between ADR experienced and no-experienced groups in almost items. This study findings would be useful to discuss clinical solutions for preventing ADR including drug allergy from patient individual level, and strategies including public education, guidebook on drug allergy, patient medication history record, and proactive efforts by professionals to improve ADR perception levels would be suggested.

본 연구에서는 한국정보올림피아드 경시부문 초등부 지역예선을 준비하고 컴퓨터 원리를 학습할 수 있는 교재를 Polya의 문제해결 단계의 원리를 적용하여 개발하였다. 교재의 내용은 학생들이 컴퓨터 원리를 학습할 수 있도록 프로그래밍의 기본이 되는 이산수학과 자료구조로 선정하였다. 개발된 교재는 J대학교의 정보영재교육원에 재학 중인 초등학생을 대상으로 투입한 뒤 기출문제를 재구성한 검사도구를 활용하여 정보올림피아드 문제해결 능력 신장에 도움이 되었음을 밝혔다. 앞으로 정보올림피아드 지도교사를 위한 지도서의 개발 및 연수 등 컴퓨터 교육을 정상화 할 수 있는 현실적인 여건이 구비되어야 할 것이다.

Recently our educational methodologies have been changed to an open, student-centered structure. Mathematics is now learned through experiential interaction and less emphasis is placed on abstract theories. For example, the axioms of the geometry in the middle school curriculum have been expressed by using symbolic letters. Students find these abstractions very difficult and it hinders their ability to grasp the significance of geometrical concepts. In an effort to simplify these abstract concepts and enhance the students interest and ability to learn, the GSP (Geometry Sketchpad) is proving to be a useful and effective tool. First, Second and third grade students have found the GSP to be extremely useful. While the pad has no sound function it still enables the students to freely change diagrams without disrupting the integrity of the program. There is also a running order of instructions at the bottom of the screen to facilitate the step by step understanding of mathematical procedures. This function makes the program ideal for use by teachers, students and even beginners. Anyone experiencing difficulty can get immediate assistance from the guidebook which is located at the back of each program. Allowing individuals to manipulate and actually see the changing deductions and axiom proofs on the computer screen provides them with immediate feedback and reinforcement. It also enhances their overall interest in learning geometry. The use of the GSP is proving to be an innovative and effective tool in facilitating the transition of mathematics into an open, student-centered educational forum.

東醫寶鑑(DongEuiBoGam) is considered as one of the most valuable medical books for Korean traditional medicine. Since 許浚(Heo Jun), the best physician on his day, wrote 東醫寶鑑(DongEuiBoGam), it has been not only a guidebook for basic medical studies, but also a field manual for clinicians. 東醫寶鑑(DongEuiBoGam) is a medical encyclopedia which integrated more than 81 medial classics. And its contents is well organized according to the symptoms of each disease. So today most clinics refer to 東醫寶鑑(DongEuiBoGam). But if we just read 東醫寶鑑(DongEuiBoGam) and use the prescriptions without understanding, the effect of medicine will be reduced by half. We should totally understand recipes in 東醫寶鑑(DongEuiBoGam) and be able to change the recipes according to the symptoms of each patient's disease. So finding the common traits of the recipes in 東醫寶鑑(DongEuiBoGam) is very important. In this research, the recipes of the fire part(火門) of Various Disease vol. Ⅲ(雜病篇 卷之三) are analyzed according to the traits of each herb in the recipes. And new classification of prescriptions according to the community of their traits is also suggested.

Purpose: This study examined the legal basis related to a physical therapist's home-based rehabilitation. Methods: The policy data were referenced to the comprehensive plan for national health promotion and the guidebook Community Health Promotion Project issued by the Korea Health Promotion Institute and other institutes. The legal data were referenced to the Bill information system on the National Assembly website. Results: The physical therapist's home-based rehabilitation did not have a legal basis in the community-based rehabilitation project (CBR) of the HP 2020 project. On the other hand, according to the Home health care part of the community health promotion project that began in 2013, physical therapists were allowed to play a role from 2020 under Article 16-2 (Public Officials in Exclusive Charge of Visiting Health Management) of the REGIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH ACT. Conclusion: Policies and laws are being developed in the field of healthcare, but the necessary policies and laws in the field of rehabilitation are still insufficient. A bill to rehabilitate in a variety of fields and spaces by modifying the scope of work of physical therapists will be needed.

The purpose of this study is the introduction of pollutant loads's estimation into Saemangeum watershed area with M.E.'s guidebook for TMDL and GIS tool. To estimate reliable pollutants loads, it is necessary to think about characteristic of removal, discharge and runoff as time series. In this study, it was calculated for generation loads which be came from pollutant source, discharge loads which be reduced in the treatment facilities and delivery loads which be considered the self purification parameter and delivery distance. To assess the delivery distance handily, it was particularly estimated using Arc-GIS. It was met with good results that delivery loads of BOD, T-N and T-P was reflected to seasonal precipitation. Lastly to verify the estimated pollutant loads, HSPF developed by USEPA was applied to it. It was showed a relativity of observed to simulated data for flow, Temperature, DO, BOD, $NO_3^--N$ TN and TP. Consequantly, this delivery loads can make full use of model input data for prediction of pollutant loads.

본 연구의 목적은 이용자에게 효율적인 도서관 및 정보이용안내를 제공하는데 있다 본 연구의 목적달성을 위하여, 도서관 FAQ의 구조적 특성과 질의내용을 분석하여 효과적인 FAQ의 접근단계와 환경변화에 따른 안내항목을 제안하였다. 또한 도서관이용법과 관련된 도서내용과 FAQ질의 내용을 비교 분석하여 새로이 추가되거나 강화되어야 할 내용을 제안하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 도서관 이용에 관한 FAQ의 작성과 관련하여 포함되어야 할 사항의 결정은 물론 도서관 정보이용 교재개발 등의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Purpose: To develop a tool to evaluate middle school sex education programs. Method: An evaluation tool was developed in 4 stages: first, preliminary items were developed based on the sex education guidebook for teachers published by the Korean Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development; second, a panel of specialists reduced the number of preliminary items by 3 validity tests on the contents; third, final items were selected from the results of pre-test. Finally, reliability and validity were tested by a sample of 601 middle school students of both genders attending all three grades. Result: The developed evaluation tool contained 31 items on the sexual knowledge and 22 items on the sexual attitude. The results of reliability tests were as follows: Cronbachs alpha for sexual knowledge was .84; and for sexual attitude was .88. Conclusion: This study suggested the developed evaluation tool for sex education programs for middle school students had a high degree of reliability and validity. Therefore, it can be utilized to effectively evaluate Korean middle school sex education programs.
