This study aimed to investigate the potential of Art Therapy to be part of Liberal Arts programs for university students. The study is based on the examination of the effect after the program. The program was combined with Art Therapy theory and with a practical part for students to have a psychological understanding of self development(ego-identity, self-esteem and interpersonal relationship). The subjects were 38 students who were registered in the Art Therapy course at N university. It was a two hour-course and was offered every week. The first 40 minutes of the class were used for explaining Art Therapy theory, and the last 80 minutes were given for practice. To analyze the effect of the program, the index of ego-identity, the index of self-esteem and the index of interpersonal relationship were used. Frequency, percentage and standard deviation were calculated with SPSS 12.0, and a paired t-test was followed. According to the results, this art therapy program has an effect on the subjectivity and future-confidence of students, which includes the sub-categories of self-identity. However, there was no effect found in the category of self-esteem. Comprehension, which is under the interpersonal relationships category, showed statistically meaningful differences after the program was done. Based on this study, it was revealed that Art Therapy as a part of the Liberal Arts programs, which incorporates a large number of students, can have a similar effect on people compared to the Group Art Therapy, which incorporates a relatively smaller number of people.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate patients' demand for music and art therapy in the treatment of Parkinson's disease and to understand how patients view the use of music and art therapy as a complementary form of treatment that can improve their quality of life and increase their self-efficacy in addition to medication. Methods: To this end, 60 Parkinson's patients visiting Daejeon Korean Medicine Hospital at Daejeon University were surveyed about music and art therapy. Results: The survey demonstrated a highly positive response to the music program, with strong belief in its efficacy for Parkinson's disease and significant interest in participation. Group music therapy was perceived as effective for enhancing mental health, respiratory function, language disorders, and overall quality of life. Although the art program was also deemed effective, patients showed slightly lower interest and willingness to participate compared to music therapy. The patients preferred 60-minute sessions once a week for about 8 weeks. Conclusions: We propose the following directions for a Parkinson's music and art therapy program. First, develop a once-a-week, 8-week music and art program for Parkinson's patients. Second, design the music program to focus on improving respiratory function and quality of life. Third, the art program focuses on creating a sense of security and comfort through emotional exchange among patients and improving self-efficacy.

The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of integrated art therapy on the life meaning of new firefighters. The subjects of the study selected 108 newfirefighters to be hired as part of the new training center in South Gyeongsang Province. Out of 108 participants, consisting of 54 volunteers, conducted an integrated art therapy program once a week, 60 minutes each, and eight sessions. Research tools carried out pre - and post-inspection testing using a scale of meaning in life. For data analysis, t-test was conducted using SPSS 22.0 program.The study found that integrated art therapy using semantic therapy had statistically significant differences in meaning in life.The experimental group has made positive changes in its pursuit of meaning, finding meaning, and discovering meaning in life rather than in control groups. In other words, the new fire fighting public officials' ability to positively change in difficult situations, adapt to the environment, and overcome difficulties was improved. In particular, he showed changes such as realizing the importance of people and life, clarity of purpose and efforts to change himself. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully review the fire school program aimed at fostering firefighters with a balanced body.
This study is aimed at verifying the effects of an ETC(Expressive Therapies Continuum)-based group art therapy program on reducing parental anxiety in first-grade elementary school students' mothers. An ETC program was composed based on the therapeutic factors of the ETC components. Seven mothers of first-grade students located in city A of Gyeonggi-do were selected as the subjects of the study. These mothers underwent 11 sessions of ETC-based group art therapy from April 18 to May 24, 2019, 1 to 2 times a week for 70 to 90 minutes. In order to verify the effectiveness of this research program, scores from pre- and post-parental anxiety scales were analyzed using SPSS 24.0 program. Results demonstrated that first, mothers' parental anxiety was significantly reduced after the ETC program participation. Second, changes in ETC component use throughout the program positively influenced reductions in parental anxiety. In conclusion, each participant experienced the opportunity to self-explore and self-understand at all levels of ETC with their preferred art medium, thereby lowering parenting anxiety. It is meaningful that through the ETC-based art therapy program, the client can be self-aware of his or her problem, and the client can decide the direction that is beneficial to them through voluntary media selection. In addition, it is meaningful that the ETC group art therapy is able to perform activities tailored to each individual.
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of music therapy combined with hand manipulation on depression and cognition in elderly women with mild depression. Methods: In order to investigate the effects of a music therapy program through hand, 20 elderly women with a GDS-K score of 14-18 were selected among women aged 65 to 84 living in Busan. The 10 subjects in the experimental group were given the music therapy program 3 times a week for 4 weeks, 12 sessions, and the 10 subjects in the control group were not given it. GDS-K and K-MoCA were performed before and after the experiment, and data analysis was performed through Wilcoxon's test using the SPSS 24.0 statistical package program. Results: The music therapy program through hand manipulation is effective in reducing depression in elderly women with mild depression, and there was a significant decrease. The sub-domains of depression, such as tension and depressive emotions, life dissatisfaction, lethargy, cognitive difficulties, low energy, and loss of motivation, were significantly reduced. In addition, it has an effect on cognition, and it significantly increased in attention, delayed recall ability, which are sub-domains of cognition. There is a significant difference in depression between the experimental group and the control group, and there is a significant difference in cognition between the two groups. Conclusions: The music therapy program with hand manipulation has a positive effect on depression and cognition in elderly women with mild depression.
This study aims to examine the effects of art therapy on challenging behavior of schoolchildren. For this purpose, I selected one class of 4th year student of S primary school, located at Jeongeup city, Jeonlabukdo, and selected 4 study subjects through examination of K-CBCL children. juvenile behavior evaluation scale, characters, school life and K - HTP test. With regard to procedure of this study, I carried out art therapy program at the art class for 60 minutes one time a week for 4 months, a total of 17 sessions from Apr. 3, 2007 to July 24, 2007. I made this program with some modification in reference to Arts Therapy Technique (Counpia Remote Training Center, 2005), Group Art Therapy (Choi Seon Nam. Kim Gap Sook. Jeon Jong Kuk, 2007) and the Effects of Peer Group Art Activity on Sociality Skill of Offensive Children (Park Ju Yeon. Lee Byeon In, 2005). For each child, I compared and analyzed the changes in score of K-CBCL children. juvenile behavior evaluation scale, behavior by K-HTP (dynamic house-wood-human figure test) analysis and by school life(KSD) image analysis before and after treatment. I also carried out qualitative analysis on behavioral feature of each child for each session. This study obtained the following conclusions. First, child A showed positive change in comparison before and after art treatment program of score K-CBCL children. juvenile behavior evaluation, K-HTP image test and school life. Since he was so active and wanted to obtain good evaluation from anyone that he frequently had quarrel with friends, spoke against others well and beaten others much but was changed and did not speak against others or beat. Second, child B showed clear difference in comparison before and after art treatment program of score K-CBCL children. juvenile behavior evaluation, but no significant difference in K-HTP image test and school life. However, I observed substantial changes. While he could not speak frankly to others, felt empty in mind and was offensive in personal relations, he was changed, did not have quarrel with others or speak against others that much and improved his relationship with friends or teachers. Third, child C showed positive change in score of K-CBCL children juvenile behavior evaluation after art therapy program. In comparison of K-HTP image test and school life treatment before and after treatment, he still longed for mothers in mind but found rather stable after treatment. Fourth, child D showed positive chance in score of K-CBCL children. juvenile behavior evaluation scale after art therapy program, but almost no changes in K-HTP image test. But he depicted good relationship and socializing with other friends in school life. While he could not carry his point due to social immaturity and felt depressed, he got more confident. This result of study showed that art therapy had positive effects on correction of schoolchildren.
This is to study the effects of the program of group art therapeuties for the low-income bracket children's melancholy and uneasiness. The experimental group is 19 children at their option of all 38 children in P child center at J city, Jeonbuk. The program has been going on after-school hours program at the facilities at 16times from May. 4 to August. 17, 2007. I have made the before-medium-after examination the COD, RCMAS and K-MFF through Repeated Measures ANOVA. The result is as follows, The melancholy of experimental group in comparison with that of control group is reduced by control group 0.42 and experimental group 2.67. And in lower rank group, the melancholy of experimental group for control group is dropped in the same way. In uneasiness, by the decrease of control group 0.10, experimental group 0.33, the uneasiness of experimental group for that of control group is decreased. In all drive, the drive of experimental group for that of control group is decreased by control group 0.12 and experimental group 0.33. And similarly, in all lower field, the drive of experimental group is reduced for that of control group. It is through our help to learn the proper way that they express their experience before the group members, listen to another person's story with attention, recognize their own and other's emotion, and are aware of feeling and action.

Alcohol consumption alongside combination antiretroviral therapy (cART) has attracted research interest, especially because of increasing male infertility. This study investigated the combined effects of alcohol and cART on testicular morphology, biomarkers of oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis. Rats, weighing 330-370 g, were divided into four groups of six animals each; control, alcohol treated (A), cART, and alcohol plus cART treated (A+cART). Following 90 days treatment period, animals were euthanized, testis extracted, and routinely processed for histology and immunohistochemical analysis. Significantly decreased epithelial area fraction, increased luminal and connective tissue area fractions, and reduction of epithelial height and spermatocyte number, were recorded in the treated groups compared to control. Extensive seminiferous epithelial lesions including widened intercellular space, karyolysis, and sloughing of germinal epithelium were recorded in all the treated groups. Furthermore, upregulation of inducible nitric oxide synthase and 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine, interleukin-6, and caspase 3 recorded in treated animals, was more significant in A+cART group. Also, the levels of interleukin-1β and tumor necrosis factor-α were more elevated in A and cART treated groups than in A+cART, while MDA was significantly elevated in cART and A+cART treated groups compared to control group. Altogether, the results indicate testicular toxicity of the treatments. It is concluded that consuming alcohol or cART induces oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis in testis of rats, which lead to testicular structural and functional derangements, which are exacerbated when alcohol and cART are consumed concurrently. The result will invaluably assist clinicians in management of reproductive dysfunctions in male HIV/AIDS-alcoholic patients on cART.

The purpose of this research is to derived art therapy program according to the personality type of student with intellectual disabilities. In order to complete the purpose, Focus group interview method by eight experts in order to achieve the objet of the study were done. The interviews were first derived the information about the programs details process, secondary interviews, it obtained the information through primary and a second interview is as follows: First, the program detail interviews activity periods, action steps for activity goals, activity type and activity restrictions material set, the configuration and action programs, time, set a place, whereby the developed final art therapy program.
The purpose of this study is to see the effect of the art therapy in group on the work stresses and emotional burnouts of social workers for diabled facility. The subjects are the 8 members of social workers at the facility for disabled located in city A. From Feb 16, 2016 to May 31, 2016, 70 minutes per session, overall 13 therapies were given. To see the therapeutic effects, there were test of stress and burnout before, afterwards and 4 weeks later. To find out the similarities in group, Mann Whitney U test was done, and Wilcoxon's signed ranks test was done to see the difference afterwards. As a result, art therapy in group was effective on the work stress and burnout of social workers in daisabled facility and the positive effect lasted. This results suggests a developed ways to reduce work stress and emotional burnout of social workers for disabled facility.
