The paper examines the determinants factor and business performance of global supply chain management. Partnership and process innovation were used as proxy for the characteristics of determinants factor of global supply chain management. Agility of business performance was used as proxy for the business performance of global supply chain management. Based on the analysis of sixty eight global supply chain management cases in Oil and Chemical Industry, the following results were found. Firstly, it was found that the process partnership of determinants factor affects agility of improved business performance. Secondly, process innovation of determinants factor was not improved more agility of improved business performance. However, there were several limitations such as characteristics of process innovation and partnership, etc.

Changing customer expectation, global competition, and technological requirements force firms to develop agile supply chain capabilities sustaining competitive advantage and business success. To respond, firms are seeking to enhance supply chain agility across the inter-organizational, this study explores the relationship between supply chain competence and supply chain agility on firm performance. The research reviews literature on supply chain capability and classifies capability into two categories as competence and capability based on resource based view and dynamic capabilities. It describes a framework to explore the relationships among supply chain competence (IT flexibility, supply chain flexibility, shared value), supply chain capability (supply chain agility), and firm performance (supply chain performance). The purpose of this study is to find the determinants of supply chain agility and improving firm performance in the perspective of vendor companies. The results indicate strong, positive, and direct relationships between supply chain competence and supply chain agility. Supply chain agility have significant relationships with firm performance. Implication for future research and practice are offered.

Sustainability is considered to be one of the most important social and environmental requirements of modern companies located in global supply chains, since the strong worldwide regulation on carbon emission due to global warming has been emphasized. Sustainable Supply Chain Management(SSCM) could be one of the great alternatives for global companies to maintain a pleasant business environment while fulfilling their social and environmental responsibilities. This paper aims to provide research trends and future directions on SSCM through a systematic literature review. From January of 2004 to May of 2021, 185 English-written and peer-reviewed articles published in eminent journals were selected for the review. The all reviewed papers have been published in SSCI, SCI and SCIE indexed journals and should have accredited by WOS and JCR. A descriptive analysis was followed by a content analysis with regard to research design and methods, and data analysis techniques. We found that the number of research in the field of SSCM have been recently increasing and researchers and their affiliation have been expanding to all over the world, especially to emerging countries. We also found that the rate of the empirical studies and relevant research methodologies applied to the selected papers were relatively high. In the future, it is desirable to be increased the number of the specific industry-oriented research and the quantitative research pursuing the optimality.

Recently, ESG management has become a global trend, receiving increasing attention from stakeholders such as consumers, investors, and governments, as regulations related to ESG disclosure and supply chain due diligence have been strengthened since the United Nations Principles of Responsible Investment (UN PRI) was announced in 2006. ESG is an acronym for the environment (E), social (S), and governance (G) and is accepted as a key factor for the continuous survival and growth of a company. As a result, there are over 600 ESG management evaluation indicators operated domestically and internationally, and numerous global initiatives have emerged. Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy also announced "K-ESG Guidelines (December 2011)" and "K-ESG Guidelines for Supply Chain Response (December 22)" to help SMEs introduce ESG management and respond to supply chain due diligence. However, small-scale manufacturing companies with poor financial, human resources, and technological capabilities face significant challenges in introducing ESG management. Accordingly, this study aims to examine the current status of ESG management adoption in small-scale manufacturing companies with less than 150 people in Korea and propose activation plan ESG management based on the diagnostic requirements of the "Supply Chain Response K-ESG Guidelines."

This paper examined the supply chain management partnerships factors and business performance in textile industry. To build a global network, we should consider the following critical factors such as lead-time reduction, information sharing, and inventory management. The purpose of this study is to focus on QR (Quick Response) of SCM in textile industries to clarify which of the SCM factors contribute to business performance for the SCM firms. Based on the analysis of eighth-six cases, the following results were found. First, partnerships factors of supply chain management have a positively significant influence on responsiveness of supply chain management. Second, partnerships factors of supply chain management have a positively significant influence on flexibility of supply chain management. This study suggests that partnerships are main factors for the business performance. Especially, our empirical evidence shows that capacity of firms practicing SCM, information techniques, and partnerships make the firms' business performance more responsive and flexible.

Rapid progress of globalization around the world makes global supply chain management a very important competitive strategy for global corporation. And ports, where international trade cargoes are coming and going through on a large scale, are becoming global supply chain basis for global co게orations. Accordingly, ports' capabilities to support global supply chain activities of global corporation become major tools for the measurement of ports' competitiveness. Recently there have been several studies to find the variables related to port's supply chain function and port's competitiveness. In this study, an effort has been made to identify variables related to port supply chain function and competitiveness. Also, considering the increasing usefulness and rising importance of Incheon port, the supply chain function of Incheon port and it's relationship to Incheon port's competitiveness has been ascertained.

There has been a major change in the way of life and thinking of all mankind due to covid19. In particular, managerial issues related to supply chain such as global supply chain disruption, and trade friction among countries are drawing the attention. Accordingly, a number of studies are being conducted on the supply chain challenges and solutions to overcome the covid19 crisis, but published research on the impact of covid19 on supply chain management is lacking. In this study, network text analysis is conducted mainly on news articles and this study summarizes the issues related to supply chain management in the era of covid19. The trend analysis results indicated that actively discussed area was global supply chain restructuring and confirmed that main topics are re-shoring, applications of new technology, and the new normal in supply chains. The findings are expected to help expand the scope of research in supply chain management research in the covid19 era.

Increasing global market of used electric vehicle (EV) battery encourages international firms to establish its subsidiary companies or business units specializing in battery recycling. Such kind of companies predominantly use closed loop supply chain (CLSC) for their operations of battery manufacturing and used battery recycling/reusing in global scale. However, EV battery recycling, as a relatively new industry, makes its global CLSC be exposed to various types of risks, which leads to inefficiency of supply processes and makes supply chains more complicated and vulnerable. Identifying, evaluating, and analyzing possible risks in CLSC has a great importance for optimization and increasing effectiveness for the global supply chain of used EV battery. Itwill assist to elaborate the efficient CLSC management and possible risk mitigation strategies to keep the global EV battery supply chain resilient and sustainable. This study aims to develop a conceptual framework for risk assessment in this new sector. Therefore, it will populate the framework with possible failure modes identified from various literature on EV battery recycling and closed loop supply chains so that future research can validate and utilize the conceptual framework.

Studies have shown that the future of the wine market rests on the effective and efficient changes in technology to the supply chain used by most of the major global players. In today's wine industry, companies are faced with the ever-shifting demand for their products, strict regulation and increasing price competition. Even at that, mature companies in the wine industry are succeeding by scaling up production, streamlining their supply chains, expanding into new geographic areas, implementing more efficient processes, cleverly marketing products, and focusing on ever closer relationships with suppliers, partners and customers. However, this paper looks at supply chain challenges in the wine industry from a global perspective presented in the inbound, manufacturing and outbound processes as well as offer effective solutions in order for companies to gain a competitive advantage and succeed on a global level.

This Paper focuses on the effects of outside competition on an optimal echelon base stock level in a two stage supply chain. This is new in that we have been studying the effects of inside competition within a supply chain up to now. It is known that the optimal echelon base stock level with inside competition within a supply chain is less than the global optimal echelon base stock level without inside competition. This is due to the ' public goods ' nature of inventory. That is, more inventory is better, but one wants the other to invest more, thus resulting in under-investment. However, this phenomenon becomes weaker as outside competition increases. We show that as outside competition becomes stronger, the ' public goods ' effects decrease and the optimal echelon base stock level increases. If the level of competition is sufficiently high, the optimal echelon base stock level goes even higher than the global optimal echelon base stock level. We develop a theoretical model for the analysis and conduct a numerical analysis.
