The purpose of this ethnography is to describe and analyze the wild-goose mother's everyday life, her family relationships, and her social networking. Thirteen mothers from New York, California, and Texas, U.S.A., were interviewed with an unstructured questionnaire. Their residency and everyday schedules are arranged around the children's educational conditions. They have experienced difficult relationships with Korean American immigrants, Korean students, other wild-goose mothers, and Americans. They have failed to develop their social capital effectively due to the language barrier and a cultural capital deficiency. As a kind of family strategy, this separation sometimes strengthens the spousal relationship, preventing divorce, but usually weakens the emotional ties and quality of communication between husband and wife. The acculturation gap between the mother and her children may cause the mother to become alienated and exacerbate the generational conflict.

In this paper, the results of analyzing the meaning of laughter in comedy movies of the late 1960s, focusing on comedians, Hee-Gap Kim, Bong-Seo Koo and Young-Chun Seo, are as follows. First, the narrative laughter of the comedians represents the generational conflict between the lower class and the upper class, the gender conflict between men and women, and the frustration of reality. Second the mechanism of creating laughter of the comedians shows ridicule of the conservative older generation, revelation of the immoral upper class, and caricature of the frustrated lower class. Third, the practical aspect of the comedians' laughter reveals cracks in tradition and modern, gaps in economic inequality, and expression of prohibited desires. Therefore, comedians Hee-Gap Kim, Bong-Seo Koo and Young-Chun Seo in comedy movies of the late 1960s show the semantic effect of laughter of internal/external boundaries and optimistic world views through the closed opening of informal culture and the conflict of characters/performers.
This study investigates how Korean children and adolescents perceive their parents using the indigenous psychological approach. An open-ended questionnaire was developed by the first two authors to investigate reasons why children and adolescents feel grateful, respect, indebted, close, conflict, and distance with their parents. A total of 763 participants (212 grade three students, 267 grade eight students, and 284 grade eleven students) completed the questionnaire. The results can be summarized into three main points. First, the vast majority of children and adolescents feel grateful, respect, and indebted to their parents. They feel grateful, respect and indebted for the sacrifice and suffering they experience looking after the family. Moreover, they respects their parents because of their sincerity, blood relationship, benevolence, guidance and educational support. They feel indebted since they did not obey them, were not able to meet their expectations, and were not diligent in their schoolwork. They felt especially close to their mother. The conflict they felt was due to generational gap and in their academic performance. Second, age affects how they perceive their parents. The parent-child conflict increases with age. The feeling of indebtedness also increase with age. However, the feeling of gratefulness and respects decreases with age. The feeling of closeness with father also decreases with age. Third, socio-economic status and educational achievement of children and adolescent affect the perception of their parents. Those with higher academic grade and socio-economic status are more likely to feel respect and indebtedness and less likely to feel conflict and distance.
Using survey on 865 college students, this study examines college students' perceptions on older generations in Korea. College students do not perceive conflicts with the elderly severely. While they recognize that the elderly contributed to family care and economic growth, they perceive that intergenerational conflicts regarding redistribution across generations might be impending in the areas of welfare policies. Progressive students evaluate contributions of the elderly more positively and approve expanding the roles of governments in the areas of welfare policies for the elderly than do conservative students. Students with higher interests in politics also positively assess the contributions of the elderly and are more concerned with the financial sustainability of welfare policies for the elderly. However, they perceive that the possibility of intergenerational conflicts might be low. This study suggests programs to increase intergenerational cooperation between college students and the elderly.

The purpose of this study was to develop the Family System Diagnosis Scale and to examine its reliability and validity. The subscales of the questionnaire included scores on seven constructs. In order to define constructs accurately, a careful review of Minuchin's writings, the writings of other family therapists, and relevant articles on family interaction was undertaken. A pool of 150 items was given to eight family counselors along with a description of Minuchin' s concepts. The counselors were asked to choose the category each statement fit and to rate the degree of fit using the 3-point scale. Using exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and Linear Structural Relationship(LISREL), six subdimensions of individuation and 55 items of FSDS were identified; enmeshmen disengagement(16 items), parent coalition generational coalition(6 items), flexibility rigidity(5 items), spouse conflict resolved unresolved(8 items), mother-child cohesion estrangement(10 items), father-child cohesion estrangement(10 items). 356 adolescents(ages 13∼18), 356 fathers, 356 mothers in Seoul, Busan, Dague, Incheun, Dajeun, Ulsan, and Kwangju were completed the Family System Diagnosis Scale(FSDS). In this study, the public sensitivity of the 'MZ generation' was examined through the social media big data sensitivity analysis method. For the analysis, the consumer account SNS text was examined, and positive and negative emotional factors were presented by classifying external sensibilities and emotions of the MZ generation. In conclusion, the positive emotions of liking and interest in relation to the "MZ generation" were 72.1%, higher than the negative emotional ratio of 27.9%. In positive sensitivity, the older generation showed 'a favorable feeling for the individuality and dignifiedness of the MZ generation' and 'interest in the MZ generation with new values'. In contrast, the MZ generation has a favorable feeling for 'the fact that they are a generation of their own boldness, youthfulness and individuality' and 'small growthism'. Negative sensitivity outside the MZ generation was found to be 'A concern about the marriage avoidance, employment difficulties, debt investment, and resignation trends of the MZ generation', 'Hate the MZ generation who treats Kkondae' and 'Difficult to talk to the MZ generation'. On the other hand, the negative emotions felt by the MZ generation itself were 'Rejection of generalization', 'Rejection of generation and gender conflicts', 'Rejection of competition worse than the older generation', 'Relative failure of the rich era', and 'Sadness to live in a predicted climate disaster'. Therefore, the older generation should not look at the MZ generation in general, but as individuals, and should alleviate conflicts with intergenerational understanding and empathy. there is a need for community consideration to solve generational conflicts, gender conflicts, and environmental problems.

Recently, the boundaries between people who produce and consume digital contents disappears due to the massive developments in information and communications technology (ICT) and the rapidly increasing spread of smartphones unlike in the traditional mass media (e.g., newspapers, radios, and TVs). Through the open service platform, the problem perception for each individual remains the same, but the problem solving methods varies as the service types have been diversified. The creation of added value through the growth of the new media platform industry is expected to enrich our lives, but it can also cause severe social side effects. For example, communication problems between social classes due to the information gap have led to generational conflict, and if such problems persist, it can cause national and social losses. Therefore, this paper analyzes the policy efforts to resolve the information gap and the necessity of the legalization of multimedia literary education to maximize the synergy effect through psychological model.
Recently, our society has been changing its population structure due to low birth rate along with the extension of life span due to the development of medical environment and improvement of living environment. It was not long before the population became older, and the problem of the elderly was amplified by generational conflict. The current generation of senior citizens could not afford to prepare for their own retirement income due to their children's education, marriage and housing problems, and is a generation alienated from the benefits of public income security. In addition, not only are they in poverty with rapid industrialization, informatization and economic instability, but they are also threatened with livelihood. The increase in elderly crimes arising from the elderly, who are less adaptable to our society dominated by materialism, is being highlighted as a new social issue. In this study, we are going to analyze the causes of violent and violent senior citizens' crimes in quality along with quantitative growth, and present criminal situations and preventive measures using 10 years of data, judging that this is a time when a national response is needed through a social discussion on crimes committed by senior citizens in our society, where the pace of aging is unprecedentedly fast in the world In order to achieve this research objective, various opinions and statistical data of our society where the standards of senior citizens are changing were reviewed, and analysis of crimes was conducted on literature utilizing data of the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office, the National Police Agency, and the National Statistical Office, recent press releases, and existing research materials. In this study, we will diagnose crimes committed by senior citizens in various aspects, including the characteristics of the elderly and the view of the elderly in the present society, and explore the direction of development for the prevention of future crimes as well.
