중간 축을 고려한 기어 구동장치의 신뢰수명 평가 (Reliable life evaluation of gear driving system for the intermediate shaft)

  • This thesis presents the design method using CAE(Computer Aided Engineering) with the consideration of reliability for optimal gear driving system. The validity and feasibility of the proposed method are verified by the application to transmission of machine tool. The reliability and life analysis is based on the two-parameter Weibull distribution lives of the gears and bearings. Ninety-percent of reliability life is the life of the component or system in million output rotations or hours at which ninety percent of identical components or system would survive under the given loading conditions.

컴팩트 디스크 플레이어 고무댐퍼의 전달율 (The Transmissibility of Rubber Damper in the Compact Disc Player)

  • The vibration and disturbances from operating the compact disk layer have an effect on the play ability. As the excitation sources of the compact disk player, there are the vibration of the motors and gears, impact by mechanical parts and the external excitations. So, most of the compact disk player have a anti-vibrational system, which is included some rubber or oil dampers. In this study, the vibration characteristics of rubber damper which is used home compact disk player are investigated. The materials and shape of rubber damper are changed, and the transmissibility is measured. As a conclusion, the natural frequency is moved to higher frequency and the transmissibility is reduced by the increasing rubber stiffness. In comparison to butyl rubber damper, the transmissibility of silicon damper was increased by larger restitution elasticity. The hollow damper was effective to reduced the transmissibility.

  • 본 연구에서는 무단변속시에 사용되며, 세 개의 유성기어로 구성된 복합유성기어가 기어의 회진시 비선형적인 기어의 강성과 감쇠를 고려하여 모델링 되었고, 복합유성기어의 운동 방정식이 유도되었다. 소음과 진동의 원인인 선기어의 중심궤적이 구하여진 상태방정식에 4차 룬게-쿠타 수치해석 방법을 수행함으로써 구하였다.

재생 에너지를 이용하는 연속가변 ER댐퍼에 관한 연구 (A Continuously Variable ER Damper with Energy Generation)

  • This study presents a so-called regenerative ER damper which does not require external power sources with aid of energy conversion from kinetic energy into electrical energy. The ER damper is manufactured by employing a rack and pinion mechanism which converts a linear piston motion to a rotary motion. This rotary motion is amplified by gears and subsequently activates a generator to produce an electrical energy. In order to demonstrate the efficiency of the mechanism, with respect to the frequency of the ER damper is investigated a generated electric voltage, which is amplified via a transformer prior to being applied to the ER damper. In addition, the damping force of the ER damper obtained by the regenerated voltage is evaluated.

비선형제어계에 사용하는 제선형화신호의 해석 (Analysis of nonlinear control systems with various diher signals)

  • Some nonlinearities in feedback control systems, such as relay servo, Coulomb friction, saturating amplifier of backlash in gears cause some undesirable effects. These may be static errors, limit cycles or jump phenomena. So, linearizing method of these nonlinearities using dither signals was first suggested by Loeb. He pointed out that the addition of high frequency signal to either the input or the output of a nonlinear system would make the nonlinear performance approximate the performance of linear systems. He used high-frequency sinusoidal wave as dither signal. But, in this thesis, general method of analysis is suggested for nonlinear control systmes using various dither signals, such as noise signal of Gaussian amplitude distribution, sinusoidal dither signal and sawtooth dither signal. Also, the advantage and disadvantage of these dither signals are compared. Throughout the analysis statistical method is adopted and lastly analog computer is used for the experiment of various nonlinear systems using dither signals.

  • Outer rotor type in-wheel switched reluctance motor for Welfare neighborhood electric vehicle is researched. In-wheel system is to drive the electric vehicle without mechanical transmission, shaft, differential gears or other mechanical system. To calculate drive power for each wheels, the elder's and disable's safety driving conditions are considered. The designed outer rotor SRM has a 6-stator and 8-rotor pole. The determined dimensions as well as the stator and rotor pole arc are simulated and tested with CAD and finite element analysis to verify the performance of the proposed motor.

  • A number of surface mount technology (SMT) process variables including land design are considered for minimizing tombstone defect in flexible printed circuit assembly in high volume manufacturing. As SMT chip components have been reduced over the past years with their weights in milligrams, the torque that once helped self-centering of chips, gears to tombstone defects. In this paper, we have investigated the correlation of the assembly process variables with respect to the tombstone defect by employing statistically designed experiment. After the statistical analysis is performed, we have setup hypotheses for the root causes of tombstone defect and derived main effects and interactions of the process parameters affecting the hypothesis. Based on the designed experiments, statistical analysis was performed to investigate significant process variable for the purpose of process control in flexible printed circuit manufacturing area. Finally, we provide beneficial suggestions for find-pitch PCB design, screen printing process, chip-mounting process, and reflow process to minimize the tombstone defects.

  • The Hong Ik Direct Drive Arm(HIDDA) is a SCARA typed direct drive manipulator with two degrees-of-freedom(DOF) using the direct drive motor of the NSK company. The direct NSK motors are used to give a large torque directly to the link, to reduce the modeling errors from the gears and chains. But, since the nonlinear coupling torques are transferred to the motor shaft without any reduction, we must consider a dynamic control algorithm. In this paper, we designed a robot controller for the HIDDA using a TMS320C31, which has the highest performance among the third DSP chips in the TI company. And we developed the integrated environment software of the robot management system to give the users an easy way of programming, running and simulation of the robot on the PC.

  • As defects may be found in the brush gear of the generator due to the quality of the collector ring and the operation environment. A research on the operation condition and defect factors of the collector ring and brush, in relation to the brush gears in generators operating within Korea has been carried out, as well as an analysis of factors that affect the collector rings.
