  • The fundamental gap between the lowest two Dirich-let eigenvalues for a Schr dinger operator HR={{{{ { { d}^{2 } } over { { dx}^{2 } } }}}}+V(x) on L({{{{ LEFT | -R,R RIGHT | }}}}) is compared with the gap for a same operator Hs with a different domain {{{{ LEFT [ -S,S RIGHT ] }}}} and the difference is exponentially small when the potential has a large barrier.

Cross Capacitance 원리를 작용한 새로운 유전상수 측정방법 제안 (A New Measurement Method of Dielectric Constants Applied the Principles of Cross Capacitance)

  • The guard-ring type 3-terminal parallel plate electrodes proposed by ASTM D 150-81 and IEC 250 have been widely used for measurement of dielectric constants of solid dielectrics. However the method using this electrodes causes many uncertainty associated with the measurement errors of the diameter of the guarded electrode. the gap between guarded and guard-ring electrode. the distance of two active electrodes(the thickness of specimen), the roughness and contamination of surface of electrode and specimen. close adherence grade of electrode and specimen. In this paper. a new electrode system of cross capacitance type based on Thompson-Lampard theorem is designed and is employed for the measurement of dielectric constant. The results of simulation of guard-ring electrode and cross capacitance electrode using FEM program show that distance measurement between two electrodes in guard-ring electrode produces large uncertainty. on the other hand this effect in cross capacitance electrode is negligible. Furthermore. the air gap effects in the cross capacitance electrode is 5.6 times less sensitive than that in guard-ring electrode by assuming air gap of $50{\mu}m$.

  • 본 연구는 앞서 발표된 '교합이 악구강계 및 전신에 미치는 영향 (I), (II)'에서 연결되는 세 번째 논문으로 교합과 악구강계 및 전신 증상과의 관계를 다루고 있는 다섯 가지 주요 이론 중 두 가지인 Chirodontics, Dental Distress Syndrome and Quadrant Theorem에 관한 내용이다. 앞서 발표되었던 논문과 비슷한 방식으로 각각의 이론에 대한 역사적 배경과 정의, 기본 개념과 치료방법 및 그 한계에 대하여 보고하고자 한다.

  • The mean temperature prediction of strip is very important in hot strip finishing mill because of affecting on product quality and shape. Also, temperature can be used by basic information in other on-line control models with affecting control accuracy in factory. So, FE based on-line temperature model was developed for predicting strip mean temperature accurately in various process conditions and factory environments. There are many variables in affecting strip mean temperature in on-line states of factory. But some problems are occurred in considering all variables for making temperature model because of the bad efficiency of regression or fitting analysis. In this report, we have adopted dimensional analysis for solving these problems. We have many variables with dimensions affecting strip temperature but we are able to make non-dimensional variables less than dimensional variables from the combination of dimensional variables caused by PI-Theorem in fluid mechanics. The developed models are divided by two parts. The one is interstand temperature prediction model. The other is roll gap temperature model.

GSP를 활용한 중학교 2학년 수학 영재학급의 일반화 수업 분석과 교육적 시사점 - Viviani 정리를 중심으로 - (An Analysis of Generalization Class using GSP for the 8th Grade Students in a Math Gifted Class - Focused on Viviani theorem -)

  • 본 연구는 교육 현장의 영재학급에 대한 바람직한 일반화 수업 구현을 돕는 것을 목적으로, GSP를 활용한 일반화 수업을 설계 및 적용해봄으로써 수업의 실제를 파악해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 중학교 2학년 영재학급 학생 13명을 대상으로 GSP를 활용한 Viviani 정리의 일반화 수업을 계획하여 적용해 보았다. 그 결과 'GSP에 의한 추측 조정과 패턴 확인', 'GSP 확인이 증명이라는 오개념과 극복', '주제 이탈과 인지적 격차', '미완의 추측에 의한 증명 완성', '일반화와 일반성 이해 사이의 괴리'라는 다섯 가지 주제를 추출할 수 있었다. 추출한 주제를 토대로 영재학급에서의 바람직한 일반화 수업 구현을 위한 교육적 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.

  • 밴드갭은 기계적 파동의 전파가 금지되는 특정 주파수 범위를 의미한다. 본 연구는 경사도 기반의 설계 최적화 방법을 사용하여 낮은 가청 주파수 범위에서 밴드갭을 갖는 3차원 켈빈 격자를 설계하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 블로흐 이론을 이용하여 무한주기 격자에서의 탄성파 전파를 해석하고, 기하학적으로 엄밀한 빔 이론에서 선형화를 통해 얻은 전단 변형 가능한 빔 모델을 사용하여 격자 구조 연결선을 모델링하였다. 주어진 격자 구성에서 중립 축 및 단면 두께를 B-spline 함수를 이용한 아이소-지오메트릭 매개화를 통해 설계 변수로 정의하고, 격자 구조의 밴드갭의 크기를 극대화하는 최적 설계를 수행하였다.

  • The relationship between dental occlusion to temporomandibular Joint (TMJ), systemic symptoms and health has been discussed and theoretical reasons have been the foundation for treatments performed by various areas of alternative treatments. It has been noted that there have been increase in the available methods and treatments for the general public regarding these areas of treatment modality. Korean Academy of Stomatognathic function and Occlusion have carried out literature review of five of those treatment theories available; they are Craniosacral mechanism, Osteopathy, Myodontics, Chirodontics, Dental distress syndrome and Quadrant theorem. Each of these modalities will be introduced and brief summary of their efficacy and efficiency will be discussed.

  • Non-contacting capacitive sensor based on Thompson-Lampard theorem have been fabricated and characterized for measuring of 때 order displacements. To overcome disadvantages of the existed capacitive sensors of parallel plate type with 2-electrodes and 3-electrodes, the developed new sensor was designed to have 4-electrodes with a constant gap of 0.2mm between the electrodes. Two of the electrodes were used as a high potential electrode and a low one, the other two electrodes were used as guard electrodes. These electrodes were made from copper using RF sputtering system on a sapphire plate with diameter 17 mm and thickness 0.7 mm. This sensor can be used for measuring the distance not only between the sensor and metallic target connected to ground potential but also non-metallic target without ground connection.

  • This paper proposes a new approach for the ant-swing control of overhead cranes. The proposed control consists of a model-based anti-swing control scheme and a practical path planning scheme. The anti-swing control scheme is designed based on the Lyapunov stability theorem; the proposed control does not require the usual constraints of small load mass, small load swing, slow hoisting speed, and small hoisting distance, but guarantees asymptotic stability while keeping all internal signals bounded. The path planning scheme is designed based on the concepts of minimum-time control and anti-swing control; the proposed path planning generates near-minimum-time trajectories independently of hoisting speed and distance. The effectiveness of the proposed control is shown by computer simulation.
