  • In this paper, by using the definition of fuzzy equivalence relations introduced by Dib and Youssef, we obtain fuzzy analogues of many results concerning ordinary equivalence relations. Moreover, we investigate fuzzy analogues of many results concerning relationships between ordinary equivalence relations and ordinary functions. In particular, we obtain the fuzzy-canonical decomposition of a fuzzy function.

  • In this paper, we introduce a class of generalized quasivariational inclusions for fuzzy mappings and show its equivalence with a class of fixed point problems. Using this equivalence, we develop the Mann and Ishikawa type perturbed iterative algorithms for this class of generalized quasivariational inclusions. Further, we prove the existence of solutions for the class of generalized quasivariational inclusions and discuss the convergence criteria for the perturbed algorithms.

  • In this paper we introduce and study a new class of gen-eralized mildly nonlinear complementarity problems for fuzzy map-pings. We use the change of variabes technique to establish the equivalence between the generalized mildly nonlinear complementar-ity problems and the Wiener-Hopf equations. This equivalence is used to suggest and analyze a number of iterative algorithm for solv-ing the generalized mildly nonlinear complemetarity problems.

  • $H_v$-rings first were introduced by Vougiouklis in 1990. The largest class of algebraic systems satisfying ring-like axioms is the $H_v$-ring. Let R be an $H_v$-ring and ${\gamma}_R$ the smallest equivalence relation on R such that the quotient $R/{\gamma}_R$, the set of all equivalence classes, is a ring. In this case $R/{\gamma}_R$ is called the fundamental ring. In this short communication, we study the fundamental rings with respect to the product of two fuzzy subsets.

  • In this paper, we introduce and study a class of generalized multivalued quasivariational inclusions for fuzzy mappings, and establish its equivalence with a class of fuzzy fixed-point problems by using the resolvent operator technique. We suggest a new iterative algorithm for the generalized multivalued quasivariational inclusions. Further, we establish a few existence results of solutions for the generalized multivalued quasivariational inclusions involving $F_r$-relaxed Lipschitz and $F_r$-strongly monotone mappings, and discuss the convergence criteria for the algorithm.

  • When we decide the software quality on the basis of the software measurement, the transitive property which is a requirement for an equivalence relation is not always satisfied. Therefore, we propose a scheme for classifying the software quality that employs a tolerance relation instead of an equivalence relation. Given the experimental data set, the proposed scheme generates the tolerant classes for elements in the experiment data set, and generates the tolerant ranges for classifying the software quality by clustering the means of the tolerance classes. Through the experiment, we showed that the proposed scheme could product very useful and valid results. That is, it has no problems that we use as the criteria for classifying the software quality the tolerant ranges generated by the proposed scheme.
