  • The core technology development of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is linked to the development of other core technologies, which will change the industrial structure in the future and create a new smart business model. In this paper, tried to analyze the technology maturity level and analyze the technology maturity. To do this, used technology trend information to investigate and integrate the market, policy, etc. Of core technology of the 4th Industrial Revolution to achieve a comprehensive maturity level. Because technology maturity measures are scored by technology developers, prejudices may be acted upon according to a person's tendency, which may be a subjective evaluation. It is also a measure of the maturity of individual technologies, and thus is not suitable for evaluating the overall system integration perspective. However, it is possible to evaluate the maturity before integrating the core element technologies constituting the whole system and to use it as a means to compare the effect of the whole system and its feasibility and play an important role in the planning of technology development.

  • The armature core is a part responsible for the skeleton of the steering wheel. Currently, in the case of commercial trucks, the main parts of the parts are manufactured separately and then the product is produced through welding. In the case of this production method, quality and cost problems of the welded parts occur, and an integrated armature core made of magnesium alloy is used in passenger vehicles. However, in the case of commercial trucks, there is no application case and research is insufficient. Therefore, this study aims to develop an all-in-one armature core that simultaneously applies a magnesium alloy material and a die casting method to reduce the weight and improve the quality of the existing steel armature core. The product was modeled based on the shape of a commercial product, and finite element analysis (FEA) was performed through Ls-dyna, a general-purpose analysis program. Through digital image correlation (DIC) and uniaxial tensile test, the accurate physical properties of the material were obtained and applied to the analysis. A total of four types of compression were applied by changing the angle and ground contact area of the product according to the actual reliability test conditions. analysis was carried out. As a result of FEA, it was confirmed that damage occurred in the spoke area, and spoke thickness (tspoke), base thickness (tbase), and rim and spoke connection (R) were designated as design variables, and the total weight and maximum equivalent stress occurring in the armature core We specify an objective function that simultaneously minimizes . A prediction function was derived using the sequential response surface method to identify design variables that minimized the objective function, and it was confirmed that it was improved by 22%.

  • The accelerator-driven subcritical system (ADS) is driven by a neutron source from spallation reactions introduced by the injected proton beam. Part of the neutron source has energy as high as a few hundred MeV to a few GeV. The effects of high-energy source neutrons ($E_n$ > 20 MeV) are usually approximated by energy cut-off treatment in practical core calculations, which can overestimate the predicted proton beam current in the ADS design. This article intends to quantize this effect and propose a way to solve this problem. To evaluate the effects of high-energy neutrons in the subcritical core, two models are established aiming to cover the features of current experimental facilities and industrial-scale ADS in the future. The results show that high-energy neutrons with $E_n$ > 20 MeV are of small fraction (2.6%) in the neutron source, but their contribution to the source efficiency is about 23% for the large scale ADS. Based on this, a neutron source efficiency correction factor is proposed. Tests show that the new correction method works well in the ADS calculation. This method can effectively improve the accuracy of the prediction of the proton beam current.

  • In accordance with the 4th Industrial Revolution, the water resource management field is also making efforts to introduce and advance the 4th industrial revolution core technologies to hydrological observation and interpretation sectors, but the river management and operation fields are relatively inferior in technology. Although various smart technologies are being developed for the analysis and operation of phenomena occurring in rivers, it is necessary to develop technologies to effectively apply them in practice. Therefore, in this study, core technologies for smart river management were derived by analyzing the level of on-site smart technology in the SOC field and the current status and characteristics of element technologies for river management, and future technologies were suggested.

  • This study aims to examine the symbolism of the emblems of World Expositions by using Victor Turner's symbolic theory as a research method, and to reveal the symbolic types behind them by classifying the emblem designs of different periods and themes. The research object is 12 comprehensive World's Fair emblems from the 1939 New York World's Fair in the United States to the 2025 Osaka World's Fair in Japan, as identified by Bureau International des Expositions. The research method mainly adopts documentary research to collect historical information and theoretical frameworks related to the design of World's Fair emblems. In the analysis process, Victor Turner's symbolic sign theory is used as the main analytical framework to link the design elements of emblems to their relevance to specific societies and cultures in order to reveal the themes, values and ideas represented by the emblem symbolism. The results of the study show that the design of the Expo emblem uses different symbols, including material symbols, behavioral symbols, sensory symbols, natural symbols, social symbols and virtual symbols, to convey the core concepts, themes and values of the Expo. Through different types of symbols, the Expo emblem shows a wide range of concerns about technology and the future, mankind and the world, nature and ecology, and society and innovation. The symbolic design of the emblem plays an important role in conveying the core concept and theme of the Expo.

  • To resolve a general argument about OBE elimination for the future nuclear power plant design, seismic responses of reactor vessel internals and fuel assembly for Ulchin nuclear power plant units 3 and 4 in Korea are investigated as an example. Dynamic analyses of the coupled internals and core are performed for the seismic excitations using the reactor vessel motions. By investigating the response relations between OBE and SSE and their response characteristics, the critical components for OBE loading are addressed. Also the fuel assembly responses are calculated using the core plate motions and their behavior is found to be insignificant for OBE elimination.
