ODA 프로젝트를 활용한 글로벌 창업/취업 지원 모델 (A Study on the Global Start-ups/Employment Support Model Using ODA Projects)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study was to explore the model that supports the recipient country by using the ODA (Official Development Assistance) project and at the same time fits the global start-up/employment support of donor country with CSV business model. Specifically, we wanted to examine the feasibility of the project based on the existing ODA projects. Research design, data, and methodology - As the methodology, case studies and interview were conducted as well as literature studies. The case analysis is based on a press release of the entire KOICA's ODA project, which has been implemented for one year, based on 2017. After consideration, the actual results and future feasibility were analyzed. The interviews were conducted on senior Korean officials and Indian officials involved in Vietnam's ODA project. Results - As a result, some of the project cases applied and analyzed according to the model of this study were judged to be highly potential. Based on the results of this analysis, as the model derived from this study pursues, the global business model is developed under the CSV (Creating Shared Value) strategy through ODA projects to support recipient countries and global start-up/employment support of donor country. The possibility of simultaneously pursuing this model based on CSV business model was also confirmed. Conclusions - In the past, free aid agencies like KOICA focused solely on supporting recipient countries, but in terms of sustainability, they could discover the potential of supporting the global start-up/employment of the donor country using CSV business model in ODA project. In this study, we tried to find the theoretical background and potential possibilities in some ODA projects based on CSV business model. As a result of the analysis of KOICA ODA projects in 2017 and interviews, some ODA projects could be used to improve the economic development of the recipient country as well as the global start-up/employment of the donor country. Therefore, it is necessary for the ministries of the government to promote ODA projects to understand the framework that achieves these two objectives simultaneously and to promote ODA projects based on various strategic considerations.

고성장기업의 결정요인에 관한 연구: 기술평가지표를 중심으로 (A Study on Determinants of High-growth Firms: Focusing on Technology Appraisal Indicators)

  • 본 연구는 기술보증기금의 기술평가자료를 활용하여 고성장기업의 결정요인에 대하여 분석하였다. 본 연구가 기존 연구와 다른 점은 3가지이다. 첫째, 현재 고성장 기업이 아닌, 향후 고성장기업으로 성장할 기업의 결정요인을 분석하였다. 둘째, 고성장기업을 매출과 고용 2가지 측면에서 각각 구분하여 분석하였다 즉, 매출증가와 고용창출에서 모두 고성장을 달성한 경우, 고용창출 측면에서는 고성장을 기록했지만 매출증가 측면에서는 저성장인 경우, 그리고 매출증가만 고성장을 달성하고 고용창출은 저성장을 기록한 경우의 세 가지 유형으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 셋째, 기술보증기금 기술평가모형(KTRS)의 기술평가지표를 설명변수로 적용하였다. 분석결과, 기술의 수명주기상 위치가 적절하고 기술의 완성도가 높을 경우에는 향후 매출과 고용이 모두 고성장하고 있다. 기술인력관리가 잘 되는 기업은 고용측면에서는 고성장을 하지만 매출측면에서는 오히려 저성장하고 있다. 이러한 결과는 고용고성장기업이 주로 기술인력관리가 중요한 하이테크산업에서 발생될지도 모른다는 추론을 가능케 한다. 이에 하이테크산업 여부를 나타내는 더미변수를 추가하여 분석한 결과, 하이테크산업에 속한 기업은 고용고성장의 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타나 이러한 추론을 뒷받침하는 결과를 보였다.

  • This paper studies the outcome of the privitization policy which have been proceed for the railway reform in Japan. In addition, we examine the current problems of privitization policy and propose the direction of the policy in the future. In conclusion the privitization policy in Japan railway leave much to be desired in the point of competition, deregulation. debt and employment. We will have to examine these points. And We will consider the merits and demerits of Japan' case in Korean railway privitization.

국가기술자격제도의 혁신이 기업의 고용결정에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 과정평가형 자격을 중심으로 (A Study on the Effects of National Technical Qualification System Innovation on Companies' Decision on Employment: Focused on Course-base Qualification)

  • 기존 검정형 자격제도가 산업의 숙련수요를 충분히 반영하지 못하여 노동시장에서 효용성이 낮게 나타나고 있다는 우려가 제기됨에 따라 최근 검정형 자격을 보완 차별화한 혁신형 국가기술자격제도로써 과정평가형 자격제도가 시행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 과정평가형 자격취득자를 채용한 기업들을 대상으로 한 조사자료를 분석하여 국가기술자격제도의 혁신이 기업의 고용결정에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지 살펴보고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 기업의 숙련수요 반영정도는 전체 고용결정에 있어서 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 과거 기술부족으로 인한 손실발생 경험이 있는 경우 지속고용 및 고용확대를 결정할 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 기업이 우수한 인력을 고용하고자 하는 것은 모든 기업의 공통적인 희망사항임에도 그간 중소기업들은 우수한 인력을 선별하는 수단이 부족했을 수 있다는 점을 시사한다. 결과적으로 자격제도의 기업숙련수요 반영정도가 높아질수록 자격 취득자의 지속고용 및 고용확대 가능성이 높아질 수 있고, 국가기술자격제도를 산업체의 구체적인 기술숙련 수요에 대응하는 방향으로 설계해야 할 필요성을 제시한다고 하겠다.

치과기공사의 직업 및 직무만족도에 관한 연구 - Denture part 근무자를 중심으로 - (A study on Job and Duty Satisfaction of Dental Technicians (Focusing on employees in denture part))

  • Purpose: This study was survey on future job vision and its pride (self-esteem) of dental technicians. It also investigates the future vision on their major of job (denture) and its awareness to improve the work environment and enhance their satisfaction towards job and duties. Methods: In order to research job and its duty satisfaction of dental technicians who mainly work at denture part, certified questionnaire was modified and upgraded for its use. Collected documents were used by 'Window SAS 8.0 Program' for analysis. The significance of the test related to the items and its standards has been decided for p<0.05. To find out the differences between choices when choosing career and the duty satisfaction, t-test, one-way ANOVA and two-way ANOVA have been used. Results: Following research findings show: 1. There was high self-esteem towards the job as dental technicians but low in future job vision. 2. It has been found that if satisfaction on their job (dental technician) is high then also their satisfaction on its duty (denture part) is high. 3. The factors that affects mostly on duty satisfaction of denture part are 'the contribution on improving oral cavity of people'(${\beta}$=0.33118), 'The possibility of growth of person's job choices'(${\beta}$=0.30035) and 'person's satisfaction on choosing job'(${\beta}$=0.16069). 4. If there is an increase level on the contribution of improving people's oral cavity, the possibility of growth of person's job choices and the person's satisfaction on choosing job, then there is also high growth in denture part's duty satisfaction. 5. It has been found that if there are more employment histories of denture part, the duty satisfaction of denture part were also high. On the other hand, the more employment history of dental technicians get, the duty satisfaction of their denture part was low. Conclusion: Following research results show that there is high self-esteem towards the job as dental technicians but the vision towards future was low. This shows that there is no bright future on dental technology. Therefore, it is important that not only to improve the work environment and pay rise on dental technologists but also to satisfy them. Various program developments and continuous research are needed to increase satisfaction.

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) born in 1956 is a general term that implies the use of a computer to make intelligent machines with minimal human intervention. AI is a topic dominating diverse discussions on the future of professional employment, change in the social standard and economic performance. In this paper, I describe fundamental concepts underlying AI and their significance to various fields including aviation and medicine. I highlight issues involved and describe the potential impacts and challenges to the industrial fields. While many benefits are expected in human life with AI integration, problems are needed to be identified and discussed with respect to ethical issues and the future roles of professionals and specialists for their wider application of AI.

FTA 투자분야의 주요 쟁점 및 협상 방향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Key Issues of International Investment in FTA Negotiations)

  • International investment has been gaining the importance in the economic growth, employment and technological spillover for many countries at the time of unrestrained flow of the production resources, inter alia, the capital. International investment is prerequisite for Korea to overcome its resource-scarcity. This paper studied some contentious issues of international investment and attempted to suggest negotiating position for Korea on future FTAs. We have made theoretical research of the issues and derived common denominators from four previous FTAs which Korea has concluded. Based on both theories and evidences, we suggest that Korea be ready to have more open attitude for incoming international investment, that is, foreign direct investment(FDI) in future FTA negotiations although Korea should have rather flexible strategy on international investment issues, on the basis of the reciprocity.

대학생의 학업형태 및 개인특성에 따른 스트레스 발생요인 및 대처방식 비교 (Comparison of Ego-States, Stressors, and Stress Coping Types : Between University Students Day and Night Time)

  • Stress is resistance to stimuli to destroy a balance of mind and body in order to maintain an original steady state : A type of response and avoidance. Mild stress, which happens in tension, has a positive effect to improve concentration, but most of stress is likely to be a main factor to damage health. This is because it causes physical ailments and psychological diseases (e.g., depression, anger, frustration, loneliness, and anxiety). The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference between two groups, daytime and night university students, on ego-state, stressors, and stress coping types to improve their academic achievement by reducing their stress. There were 266 university students, who participated in a survey from November 30, 2015 until September 30, 2016. The study employed three measuring instruments : Ego-gram, stressor scale, and stress coping type scale. All the collected data were analyzed through regression analysis and t-test. The results of the regression analysis showed no significant differences in ego-state, stressors, and stress coping types between two groups. However, the results of t-test showed significant difference between the two groups : In terms of ego-state, a CP (Critical Parent) average of the night university students was significantly higher than the daytime university students'. Also, there is a significant difference in employment, future issues, and economic issues : the daytime university students considered employment and future issues more serious, while the night university students had more mental burdens of economic issues. When it comes to coping stress types, there was no significant difference between the two groups.

사물인터넷의 사회적 영향: 시나리오 플래닝을 통한 일자리 영향 전망 (Social Impacts of IoT: Job Prospects through Scenario Planning)

  • 본 연구는 사물인터넷의 사회적 파급 중 일자리에 미치는 영향을 미래 분석 기법인 시나리오 플래닝을 통해 탐색하였다. 컴퓨팅성능의 기하급수적 발전과 단가 하락에 힘입어 사물인터넷 및 유관 기술의 혁신이 가속화되면서 기존에 인간의 고유한 영역으로 여겨졌던 비정형적, 인지적 영역까지 도전 받게 되었다. 시나리오분석을 통해 미래의 불확실한 경계를 정의, 잠재된 기회와 위협의 영역을 전망함으로써, 주요 의사결정자들에게 사물인터넷의 확장이 기존 일자리 구조에 어떤 영향을 미칠 것인가에 대한 마인드맵(Mind map)을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 또한 시나리오를 통해 전반적으로 기술한 일자리 영향의 정도를 가늠하기 위하여, 국내 고용노동 구조를 살펴보고 52개 중분류 표준직업군별로 향후 감소 또는 성장 가능성이 높은 분야에 대하여 기존 연구 및 시나리오분석을 바탕으로 직종별 전망을 논의한다.

재학 중 현장실습과 취업 후 직무만족 간의 관계에 관한 연구: 장·단기현장실습의 비교 (A Study on the Relationship Between on-site Training During the School Year and Job Satisfaction after Employment: A Comparison between Short-term and Long-term on-site Training)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between post - employment job satisfaction and both short-term (4-12 weeks) and long-term (12+weeks) on-site training. For this purpose, 405 graduates who had completed on-site training (205 short-term, 200 long term) during the school year were surveyed. The results of the comparative analysis of both short-term and long-term on-site training participants are as follows: In both short-term and long-term on-site training, it was found that on-site performance during the school year did not directly affect post-employment job satisfaction. In the case of short-term on-site training participants, job match and organizational commitment were found to have no mediating effect on the correlation between on-site training performance and job satisfaction. On the other hand, in the case of long-term on-site training participants, the analysis showed that job match and organizational commitment had mediating effects on the correlation between on-site training performance and job satisfaction. These effects are not solely attributable to differences in duration of training; the differences in operating systems and the degree of preparation derived from these systems also affect the level of on-site training for students, businesses, and schools. This paper summarizes these findings and suggests the following improvement plans for on-site training in the future: First, short-term on-site training is required to establish a systematic basis in order to enhance students' preparedness level. Second, both short-term and long-term on-site training should improve the skills and field understanding for students' majors through systematic quality management during the training period. Third, it is necessary for universities to increase expectations and quality of short-term on-site training for all involved while simultaneously reducing the gap between educational goals and practice in this field.
