This research examines the importance of IT training/education, present situation and possible suggestion for the successful training/education. The research method adopts a comparative analytical approach based on questionnaire survey responses from three work groups - managers, employees, and union representatives - drawn from five sample Korean banks. The evidence indicates that all three groups agree that IT improves banking efficiency and reduces job repetitiveness, but their job satisfaction level with IT-based work is surprisingly very low. The main reasons are mainly lack of training/education and poor user manuals. Also the research shows that most respondents would like to get further training/education to more adequately fit them for their jobs. Those from banks which invested in continuing training/education revealed more positive work attitudes and higher job satisfaction.

Recently the number of lectures of offered as part of distance education courses is increasing due to the necessity of continuing education in this era of rapidly changing technologies. To promote this, Web-based distance education systems have been developed and put into practical use. To step further, we propose a virtual space, distance education platform called interactive virtual laboratory. The proposed system is expected to overcome many obstacles in performing the unit operations laboratory at the current setting. The server/client system implementation was programmed with ASP and Visual Basic. The availability of simple and efficient technological supports for dissemination and remote use of virtual lab systems supports more experimental practices regardless of the number of participating students and their locations. Variety of instruments, process equipments and lab procedures are being added to make it a complete package of virtual lab fur undergraduate unit operations course.

In recent years, an increasing number of viewpoints hold that students should be engaged in a learning environment where understanding and knowledge transfer take place. This study introduces Mathematics Created by You (MCY)-mentoring program, which allows students to construct artefacts that are required to learn. This program is online-based and so can be shared by several people and mathematics leaning takes place through interactions within this carefully designed environment. Also, MCY intends to provide students a series of sequential activities related to creative play, creative learning and creative inquiry based on a Constructive and interactive environment. Furthermore, a creative activity- constructing a creative product using building blocks- was presented as an example. Finally, we investigate the pedagogical implications and suggest directions for the further development.

Since 1980's during which environmental pollution became serious enough to urge various types of environmental educations in many areas. But, most emphasis has been put on theoretical education. Even field education training mostly focused on water pollution. Therefore, simple air pollution monitoring system was needed for better field education in air pollution. In this study, we evaluated Passive Sampler as an useful tool for teaching air pollution in field. Students have found passive sampler very effective tool. Recent comparative study of auto-monitoring and passive sampler networks suggested a potential use of passive sampler as an useful tool for environmental education. In this study, the correlation between two sets of values appears very high judging from the regression slope of 0.92 and correlation coefficient of 0.91 However, inexpensive Passive sampler with easy-to-operate colorimeter, has not been used in environmental education partially because large scale fluctuation in time and space characteristic to air pollution has been overlooked so that the sampler has not been tested for an effective educational tool. Passive sampler certainly deserves further in depth research as an effective air monitoring system, and better attention to its usefulness to teach students and public.

We investigated endophytic fungi diversity of two Pinaceae species (Pinus densiflora, Pinus rigida) and one Cupressaceae species (Juniperus rigida) on Mt. Seodae, Korea. In total, 34 isolates were obtained from 19 host plants and identified according to internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region. As a result, they were placed in 13 taxa. Among them, 52.9% belonged to Leotiomycetes, 32.3% belonged to Sordariomycetes, 5.8% belonged to Agaricomycetes, and 3.0% for isolates belonged to either Eurotiomycetes, Dothideomycetes or Ustilaginomycetes. In particular, Lophodermium growing in pine would be an especially important instance of biodiversity for endophytes, suggesting that further study examining its ecological function in the environment is critical.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of integrated education research conducted in Korea and to propose a meaningful discussion for further research. Among the studies conducted for last five years, the relevant 69 research articles were selected, and 211 effect sizes were calculated. Effect sizes were analyzed with different dependent variables including creativity, problem solving ability, inquiry skills, scientific recognition, attitude, interest, motivation and self-esteem. In addition, effect sizes with different moderating variable, such as samples sizes, characteristics of subjects, class types, core disciplines were compared. The conclusions of this study was that STEAM education had a relatively middle effect size. Finally, researchers discussed the results related with previous results, and provided the implications and suggestion for future studies.

The purpose of this study was to identify needs of mothers in order to lay a foundation for improving the content of parent education in early childhood educational institutions. The mothers of 164 kindergarten children in Pusan participated in this study by a questionnaire developed by the researchers. Conclusions were that the felt needs of mothers identified in this study should be included in parent education programs along with knowledge, skills and attitudes selected by professionals. Selection of content should be based on the fact that most mothers have similar concerns and interest in raising their children, regardless of background. However, mother's educational level needs to be considered. Further study needs to be done on educational methods, and tentative models of parent education need to be designed in order to activate effective parent education.

The Emergence of german mechanical engineer group is related to the development of polytechnical schools which were founded by the german state governments. Following the model of vienna polytechnical schools, the german polytechnical schools aimed also to educate engineers for private industries. For this purpose, the practices and workshop experiences were more emphasized than the theoretical education. With the further industrialization, the demand for higher educated engineers grew, and the level of theories taught in the polytechnical schools approached to that of university. On the base of mathematicalization of technical and mechanical knowledge, the professors of polytechnical schools succeeded in the establishment of Technische Hochschule which ranked as university. The german mechanical engineers could differentiate themselves from the traditional technicians with the establishment of polytech schools and Technische Hochschule.

Innovation and entrepreneurship education is becoming an important development opportunity for colleges and universities to realize curve overtaking. Affected by the physical and mental development characteristics, female college students in innovative undertaking showed different growth characteristics. In order to further promote female college students' innovative undertaking, we should combine the characteristics of female design with innovation entrepreneurship education path. As one of the three women's colleges, the general innovation and entrepreneurship course system of Shandong Women's University provides a wide education of innovation and entrepreneurship consciousness and thinking for all students. The undergraduate major of business Administration (entrepreneurial management) provides the whole system education of entrepreneurship, and through "system guarantee, professional construction, course system, competition assistance and project cultivation", female students' entrepreneurial consciousness is cultivated and their entrepreneurial ability is improved.

The main purpose of the study is to determine the key aspects of the use of electronic educational resources in the training of future specialists in higher education institutions. The importance of using electronic educational resources in the preparation of university students is proven. The relevance of the chosen topic is due to the high rise of globalization in the process of training future specialists in higher education institutions. The theoretical and methodological basis of the article is the fundamental and modern provisions of the theory, the work of scientists and specialists in the management of electronic educational resources in the field of education. Based on the results of the analysis, the main characterizing aspects of the use of electronic educational resources in the training of future specialists in higher education institutions were identified. Further research needs to analyze new, experimental electronic means in the system of student training.
