  • The change of social consciousness and culture induce increasing needs of funeral ceremony hall. This study analysed the equipments standards of funeral ceremony hall, and the procedure of each ritual formalities, then surveyed nine cases. As a result, the forms of mortuary are identical despite the needs of plans by religions and rites. This study recognized the needs of mortuary plans by religions, and purposed to plan each religion's mortuary based on funeral ceremony hall after this.

의료기관 장례급식 품질 향상을 위한 운영자와 구매자의 최적효용 도출 (Deduction on the Ideal Combination of Total Utility by Operator and Purchaser for Quality Improvement of Foodservice at Medical Center Funeral Halls)

  • The purposes of this study were to identify the relative importance attributes, deduct the ideal combination of total utility and establish the marketing strategies for quality improvement of foodservice at funeral halls of medical centers. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires from 102 funeral foodservice employees and 71 chief mourners or the bereaved. According to the results from a conjoint analysis, among foodservice employees at funeral hall, the relatively important attributes were 'taste (52.84%)', 'menu variety (24.419%)' and 'price (22.741%)'; among chief mourners or the bereaved, they were 'taste (50.004%)', 'price (31.388%)' and 'menu variety (18.008%)'. The ideal combination of total utility was different between funeral foodservice employees and chief mourners or the bereaved; it was higher among chief mourners or the bereaved (1.211) compared to funeral foodservice employees (1.169). Thus, there should an endeavor to improve the foodservice quality in funeral halls of medical centers through better taste, low price and similar menu variety.

전문장례식장 조문공간 구성에 관한 연구 (A Study On the Organization of Condolent Space in funeral Ceremony Hall)

  • The purpose of this study is furnishing applicable data, in deviation from the conventional study of architectural planning, for funeral ceremony hall actually built as a various form. For that, this study performed analysis of condolent space, through dividing space into three phase which is planning unit, organizing unit and making layout as a general method of architectural planning steps. The results are as follows. Establishing spaces for bereaved family's rest in funeral space is also applicable, through the renovation, in case of A type u nit that is more than 25$m^2$. If wish to organize funeral space unit by monolithic space type at planning, than should be controle d size of unit so as not to excessive and if wish to organize by connection style and 1:1 separation style, than area of room where coffin is placed should be considered not overly lacking than condoler's waiting space. On arranging of middle corridor type should be controled scale of funeral space so that is not lacking than room where coffin is placed. In case of hall type, there are necessity to make area of condoler's waiting space do not excess than area of room where coffin is placed.

낙동강 남부지역의 상례문화 실태 조사 - 부산의 교사집단을 중심으로 - (Customary Funeral Rites of Teachers in the Southern Nak-dong River Area)

  • Korean funeral customs are an important part of the mourning process in Korea. A survey was conducted in the southern part by the Nak-dong river, centered around the city of Busan to examine Korean funeral rites. This study was conducted with survey research. The target population included 234 teachers and experienced the death of a family member within the last three years. Results showed that they presented their condolences 5 to 6 times on average per year. Funeral rites were performed usually at a hospital funeral hall. The preference of burial to cremation was about the same. According to the survey, funeral expenses averaged 9,570,000 won and donations received for funeral expenses, 12,630,000 won. Problems the respondents expressed about the process included large funeral expenses, the decision whether to bury or cremate, and fatigue from staying up all night. When classified according to the demographic characteristics, there were significant differences in the variables. Frequency of attending funerals depended on gender, age, and health status. Condolence style depended on religion. The type of funeral (burial or cremation) depended on family income. The type of reception depended on gender. 천안지역 일부 다중이용시설의 포름알데히드 농도에 관한 연구 (A study on the concentration of formaldehyde in public Facilities in Cheon-An area)

  • This study was conducted at a Terminal, a Parking Lot, an Underground shopping center, a Funeral hall and a Hospital waiting room of Cheon An area in August 2008 to examine the concentration level of HCHO(formaldehyde). The concentration level of the remodeled sites were $39.4\;{\pm}\;12.0\;{\mu}g/m^3$ in the terminal, $32.7\;{\pm}\;7.3\;{\mu}g/m^3$ in the parking, and $97.8\;{\pm}\;29.4\;{\mu}g/m^3$ in the underground shopping center. The underground shopping center had the highest level and followed by the terminal and the parking. On the contrary, the site remodeling had the level of $17.7\;{\pm}\;12.4\;{\mu}g/m^3$ in the funeral hall and $17.9\;{\pm}\;0.6\;{\mu}g/m^3$ in the hospital waiting room. The funeral hall had highest level than that of the hospital waiting room. Both the remodeled sites and the not remodeled site had concentration level of HCHO below the standard level, but it was higher in the remodeled sites. There were no relations among the HCHO, the temperature and the humidity in facilities of Cheon An area.

  • 장례서비스는 인생의 마지막 단계인 죽음을 다루는 의례절차에 관한 것으로, 복지서비스의 마지막 단계라 할 수 있으며, 고인의 마지막 형태를 복원하는 고전적인 회복기술 수준에서 한 걸음 더 나아가, 생시 모습의 재현 내지는 더 나은 외모로 표현하는 메이크업의 단계로 발전하고 있다. 이는 고인의 마지막 모습을 좋은 모습으로 기억코자 하는 유족들의 요구에 의한 것으로, 시대별로 변화되고 있는 방법들을 기록에서 찾아볼 수 있다. 이러한 장례메이크업은 유족의 요구에 부응하여 죽은 이의 마지막 모습을 아름답게 꾸며줄 수 있는 우리의 장례문화의 가장 주요한 한 과정이 될 것이다. 본 연구는 향후 장례식장 내에서 고인을 모시는 입관 단계에서부터 꽃 장식, 관보 등의 인테리어, 음향효과, 조명시설, 특수 재료와 함께 연구되어야 할 장례 메이크업을 체계적인 방법으로 실제 적용해 보고, 그 효용성을 교육현장에서 활용할 수 있는 방안을 모색해 보았다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 연령대에 따른 장례문화인식, 장례문화산업개발, 장례문화교육 내용에 대한 설문조사 결과를 토대로 장례문화산업 개발 방안 제시이다. 본 연구의 설문은 한국갤럽에 의해 실시되었으며, 조사방법은 구조화된 질문지를 이용한 온라인 조사를 실시했다. 조사일시는 2021년 2월 5일~2021년 2월 8일, 추가조사는 2021년 2월 18일~2021년 2월 19일에 실시되었다. 유효 연구대상자는 316명이며, 표본추출방법은 성/연령별 할당 추출이다. 연구결과 전 연령대에서 화장을 선호했으며, 화장한 유골의 안치 장소는 수목장과 납골당이 높았다. 연령대별로 다소 차이는 있지만 대체로 청년에서 노년층으로 갈수록 상조상품 가입, 생전장례식, 이별여행, 이별여행상품구매, 장례보험 가입, 죽음관련 전문가와의 상담에 대해 거부감이 적은 것으로 조사되었다. 본 연구 결과는 장례문화산업 인식과 개발 방안에 대한 학제간 융합 연구에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

  • All Korean people are eligible for National Health Insurance(NHI). But large non-coverage of NHI is a big problem. The origin of this problem is from medical fee schedules. NHI calculate all hospital income including insurance medical practice, non-insurance medical practice and non-medical income(i.e. a funeral hall, a parking lot, stores in hospital).

  • Since ancient times in Korea, in spite of the ranks of high and low, drink was like a all sorts of human emotions. In particular, the drought, or any weapon except when wages found the ball back to God or to buy a drink to celebrate the sixtieth birthday or marriage and feasting like mails, and the priests or the funeral, such as consciousness raising in this procedure. The country had strict rituals in ceremonial events were thereby is living up to deep. The history of the drink in the history of the past, given that the main grain farming culture has already begun since the era of gojoseon was launched remains to be seen. This has been a long history of traditional attention to clean up and organize the showing to the public hall is a nationally scarce in some areas of that era, or the facility is not large. Therefore, in this study, alcohol-related exhibits and Museum recognizes the reality of the future sake Museum architectural plans: the Foundation provides materials for that purpose.
