과학수사 프로그램이 초등 영재의 과학 창의적 문제해결력에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Forensic Science Program on Scientific Creative Problem-Solving Abilities of Gifted Students in Elementary School)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop forensic science program for the improvement of scientific creative problem-solving abilities in gifted elementary-school students. A program that consists of six sessions (18 hours) is developed in accordance with the CPS model, which has been already proven effective for the improvement of creative problem-solving abilities. This program was applied to sixth-grade 18 gifted students in an elementary school in Gyeonggi province. Examinations of scientific creative problem-solving abilities were performed before and after applying the program in order to determine its effect on gifted elementary students. A qualitative analysis of students' activity sheets, peer assessment and teacher's class journal was made in order to examine the process of improvement of students' scientific creative problem-solving abilities. The results of this study are as follows: First, forensic science program to enhance the scientific creative problem-solving abilities of gifted students was developed. Second, forensic science program is significantly effective in the improvement of scientific creative problem-solving abilities of gifted children of elementary school (p<.05). Third, in early stage of the class, a student, who showed the highest range of change in pre and post tests, revealed the trend of responding in a short answer type. In the late stage of the class, he revealed the capability of producing various creative ideas promptly. On the other hand, students belonging to the upper group of both pre and post test revealed the improvement of divergent thinking skills such as fluency, flexibility, and originality. Fourth, after class, the students responded that the forensic science program developed in this study intrigued the interests and curiosities, and helped them break away from fixed ideas.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the student's awareness of the forensic nurse's role and needs for forensic nursing education. This is to provide basic data in order to develop the forensic nursing education program. Methods: The questionnaire was done by 355 nursing students at 12 different nursing colleges from March 1 to April 30, 2013. To analyze the data, the SPSS 18.0 program was used and ANOVA was carried out to see the differences of cognition concerning the need of schooling and the forensic nurse's role. Results: There was significant difference on the intention of participation in forensic nursing education according to the recognized forensic nurse's role (p=.010). There was no significant difference on the needs of the education, but there were increased educational demands when awareness of the forensic nurse's role was the higher group ($3.44{\pm}0.16$) rather than the lower group ($3.33{\pm}0.22$). Conclusion: This study demonstrated the nursing student's needs concerning forensic nursing education. Therefore, we suggest the development of a forensic nursing curriculum.

간호사의 법의간호 역량 측정도구 개발 (Development of the Forensic Nursing Competency Scale for Nurses)

  • Purpose : This study aims to develop the Forensic Nursing Competency Scale suitable to South Korea. Methods : The initial items were generated through literature review and interviews. Items were evaluated by experts for content and face validity. By conducting a pilot test, 74 measurement items were developed. In total, 333 copies of the questionnaire were analyzed regarding the validity and reliability of the study. Data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 program and AMOS 18.0 program. Results : The study selected 53 questions after testing the content, face, and construct validity of the scale. The final 53 questions were composed of 15 sub-components in eight domains. These eight domains encompassed nursing practice, communication, critical thinking, human caring and relationships, evidence management, active information collection, professional development, and knowledge integration. Conclusions : In order to verify the effectiveness of the scale, future studies need to compare the forensic nursing competency in two groups to assess differences in these competency. Moreover, it is necessary to develop a forensic nursing educational program and validate its effectiveness by using this scale.

응급실 간호사의 법의간호학적 역할 수행에 미치는 영향요인 (Influencing Factors on Forensic Nursing Role Performance of Emergency Department Nurses)

  • Purpose: Purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing forensic nursing performance role of Emergency Department(ED) nurses. Methods: The study was conducted with 120 ED nurses from Busan. Data were collected during July, 2013 and analyzed using SPSS Win 19.0 program. Results: There were positive correlations between awareness of the forensic nursing role and forensic interest (r=.29, p=.001), between awareness of the forensic nursing role and forensic nursing performance role (r=.54, p<.001), and between forensic experience and forensic nursing performance role (r=.26, p=.004). Awareness of forensic nursing role (${\beta}=.50$, p<.001) and experience in forensics (${\beta}=.24$, p<.001) were significant predictors of forensic nursing role performance and explained 35.9% of the variance. Conclusion: To improve forensic experience, medical institutions should provide education and training for ED nurses to increase their indirect experience. Periodic assessment should also be done. Nurses with training assigned to the ED will enhance the forensic nursing role performance.

임상병리학과 학생들의 법의학 교육의 요구도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Educational Requirement of Forensic Medicine for Biomedical Laboratory Science)

  • 임상병리학과 학생들의 법의학 교육에 대한 인식개선의 방법을 개선하고, 활성화를 위한 방안을 제시할 목적으로 대구지역 대구보건대학교 임상병리학과 학생 100명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하여 법의학 과목에 대한 인식 및 요구도에 대한 항목들을 빈도 분석하였다. 그 결과 대부분의 학생들이 법의학이라는 인식이 많이 높은 수준으로 조사되었다. 100 응답자 중, 법의학대한 인식 질문에 94 (94 %) 그것을 알고 있다고 조사되었으며 법의학에 대한 기대 또한 높게 조사되었다. 현재 임상병리과 학생들에게서는 법의학 교육의 인식 및 교육의 요구도가 매우 높았다. 따라서 대학 교육과정에 임상병리사가 되기 위한 중점과목에만 집중하는 것보다 전문적 영역 확대와 활성화를 위해 법의학 과목을 통해 특히 임상병리사의 취업을 위한 방안으로 소개하는 프로그램의 도입이 필요하다.

응급실 간호사의 법의간호학적 역할인지, 경험, 역량이 법의간호학적 역할수행에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Role Awareness, Experience and Competency on Performance of Forensic Nursing Role among Emergency Department Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine factors affecting the performance of the forensic nursing role among emergency department (ED) nurses. Methods: Data collection was conducted on 125 nurses of EDs in 9 medical centers in U metropolitan city from June 20 to July 20, 2016. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression using SPSS Win 21.0 program. Results: There were statistically significant differences in the performance of the forensic nursing role according to the types of emergency medical institutions, perception of the forensic nursing and forensic nurse. Performance of the forensic nursing role had positive relationships with the awareness of the forensic nursing role and forensic nursing competency. Factors affecting the performance of forensic nursing role were forensic nursing role awareness, the types of emergency medical institutions and forensic nursing competency. These factors explained 40.8% of the total variance. Conclusion: The results suggest that awareness of the forensic nursing role, forensic nursing competency and the types of emergency medical institutions have influences on the performance of forensic nursing role. Therefore, it is necessary to design interventions suitable for the types of emergency medical institutions for ED nurses to enhance the awareness of forensic nursing role and to reinforce forensic nursing competency.

간호대학생의 부검 관련 태도와 법의학 교육의 효과 (Effect of Forensic Education and Autopsy Attitude of Nursing Student)

  • Purpose: This research was designed to investigate the effects of forensic education and autopsy attitude of nursing students. Methods: Data on autopsy attitude were determined and collected by means of a self-reporting questionnaire including 14 questions on perception of a need for an autopsy and 11 questions on resistance to autopsy, the respondents being 846 nursing students. The collected data were analyzed by means of an independent t-test with one-way ANOVA in an SPSS WIn 18.0 program. Results: The perception of a need for an autopsy was 4.06 on average and resistance to autopsy was 2.64 on average. The nursing students taking a forensic course showed a relatively higher level of perception of the need for an autopsy (t=-5.63, p <.001) than those not attending such a course (t=2.93, p <.001). Perception of the need for an autopsy and resistance to autopsy show a negative correlation (r=-.382, p=.003). Conclusion: A forensic medicine course raises the level of perception of the need for an autopsy by nursing students and reduces the level of resistance to autopsy.

사망진단서 작성에 있어서 부적절성 (Inappropriateness in Completing a Death Certificate)

  • 사망진단서의 상당수가 부적절하게 기록되고 있다. 이의 원인으로는 사망진단서 작성에 관한 교육의 부족과 사망진단서 작성자의 무관심 등에서 비롯된 것으로 보인다. 사망진단서 오류는 우리나라의 사망 환자 통계의 신빙성을 떨어뜨리고, 보건 정책 등에 올바르게 반영되지 못하는 결과를 가져오게 된다. 2005년 1월 1일부터 12월 31일까지 1년간 대구 소재 A병원에서 발급된 사망진단서 298건을 연구 대상으로 사망진단서의 오류를 조사하였다. 주오류중 사망기전만 기입한 경우 26건(8.7%), 경쟁 원인 기입은 28건(9.4%), 부적절한 진단은 34건(11.4%)이었다. 1개 이상의 주오류를 가진 경우는 88건(29.5%)이었다. 부오류는 시간 간격을 기입하지 않은 경우가 296건(99.3%), 직접사인과 선행사인은 기록하고 중간선행사인을 제외하였거나 직접, 중간선행, 선행사인에 같은 진단을 기입한 경우는 58건(19.5%), 한 칸에 2개 이상의 진단을 기입한 이중진단인 경우가 56건(18.8%) 등이었다. 오류가 없는 사망진단서는 88건으로, 전체 진단서 298건 중 29.5%밖에 되지 않았다. 사망진단서 작성의 정확성을 기하기 위하여 올바른 교육 프로그램 마련 및 교육의 강화가 절실히 요구된다.

카지노 횡령사건 분석과 포렌식 수사기술 연구 (A Study on Casino Embezzlement Incident Analysis and Forensic Investigation Technology)

  • 카지노장에서 직원에 의한 횡령사건이 발생하였다. 일부 카지노 직원들은 직무 만족도가 낮으며, 도덕적인 괴리감으로 이직을 심각하게 고려하고 있다. 또한 대량의 현금 유혹과 자금관리시스템의 부족은 횡령사건을 발생시키고 있다. 본 논문에서는 카지노 산업의 특수성과 직원직무만족도를 조사한다. 카지노 횡령사건의 발생내용을 분석하고, 계좌추적과 수표에 대한 조회 및 혐의자에 대한 휴대폰 통화내역 등의 디지털 포렌식 수사기술을 연구한다. 문제점과 해결방안은 손실예방 프로그램 실시, 디지털 포렌식 기술과 수사관 도입에 대한 제안을 한다. 본 연구를 통해 카지노 업무를 전산화하여 횡령사고를 예방하며, 수익금에 대한 사회 환원과 포렌식 수사기술 발전에 기여하게 될 것이다.

간이 칼집에서의 잠재지문 분포에 관한 연구 (A study on the distribution of latent fingerprints on paper knife sheaths)

  • 현재까지 강력 사건에서 범인들은 칼을 흉기로 가장 많이 사용하였으며 범죄 현장에 범인이 직접 종이와 테이프로 제작한 간이 칼집이 남아있는 경우가 있다. 다공성 표면에 테이프가 붙어있는 검체는 지문을 현출하기 어려우므로 간이 칼집과 같은 증거물이 발견되었을 때 각 표면에서 지문을 현출하는 적절한 기법과 지문의 분포 위치를 확인하는 실험이 필요하다. 본 연구는 이를 확인하기 위해 간이 칼집 50개를 만들어 테이프 비접착면에 cyanoacrylate fuming (CA fuming)을 사용하여 지문을 현출하고 이중목적 1,2-indanedione/Zn (1,2-IND/Zn) 시약으로 종이와 테이프를 박리함과 동시에 종이에 있는 지문을 현출하였다. 테이프 접착면은 Wet Powder Black®을 사용하여 지문을 현출하였다. R program을 이용하여 heatmap으로 각 표면에서 지문이 현출된 위치를 표시한 결과, 테이프 접착면의 중간 부분보다 양끝에 지문이 많이 분포되어 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며 비접착면과 종이는 뚜렷한 분포 패턴이 나타나는 것은 아니나 개인식별에 이용할 수 있을 정도의 선명도를 가진 지문이 다수 현출된 것을 확인하였다. 범죄 현장에서 간이 칼집이 발견되었을 때 이러한 연구 결과를 참고하여 증거물을 처리할 수 있을 것이다.
